Abstract

La presente invención describe un proceso que garantiza la remoción de los contaminantes polares insolubles presentes en el biodiesel, que generan la formación de precipitados a temperaturas por encima del punto de nube y que afectan drásticamente su desempeño a bajas temperaturas. El biodiesel obtenido a través del proceso descrito en la presente invención garantiza que se cumple el requisito más estricto exigido en la normativa internacional para la filtración en frio, permitiendo garantizar una alta calidad del biodiesel que se produce a nivel industrial. El proceso consta básicamente de dos etapas, la primera es una adsorción en reactor batch y la segunda, una transferencia de componentes químicos polares, remanentes de la primera. En ambas etapas se utiliza como adsorbente un alumínosilicato natural o activado con ácido.The present invention describes a process that guarantees the removal of insoluble polar pollutants present in biodiesel, which generate the formation of precipitates at temperatures above the cloud point and which drastically affect its performance at low temperatures. The biodiesel obtained through the process described in the present invention guarantees that the strictest requirement demanded in the international regulations for cold filtration is met, allowing to guarantee a high quality of the biodiesel produced at an industrial level. The process basically consists of two stages, the first is an adsorption in a batch reactor and the second, a transfer of polar chemical components, remnants of the first. In both stages, a natural or acid-activated aluminosilicate is used as adsorbent.
