Abstract

Se proporcionan emulsiones, fluidos de tratamiento y métodos para tratar formaciones subterráneas, en donde las emulsiones comprenden agua, un líquido inmiscible en agua, uno o más polímeros, y una composición de surfactante inversora que comprende uno o más surfactantes seleccionados del grupo que consiste en compuestos de aminas etoxiladas, compuestos de ácido graso etoxilados y compuestos de ácido alquil polietilenglicol éter carboxílico, compuestos de ácido alquil poliglicol éter carboxílico y sales o ésteres de los mismos. Las emulsiones son particularmente adecuadas para uso en salmuera.
