Abstract

Resumen En el presente documento se revela una planta del género Cannabis que no necesita floración para producir tricomas que comprenden compuestos secundarios. En el presente documento se proporciona una planta del género Cannabis que tienen tricomas en partes no florecientes de la planta, tales como las hojas. Las plantas divulgadas tienen un %masa de compuestos secundarios y un alto grado de cobertura de tricoma sobre la superficie de la planta. En el presente documento también se divulgan métodos para producir compuestos secundarios a partir de una planta del género Cannabis sin florecer la planta del género Cannabis. Por ejemplo, los métodos revelados permiten inducir el desarrollo de tricomas en una planta del género Cannabis sin florecer la planta del género Cannabis.
