Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de protección (1) de sello mecánico de bombas centrífugas (B) para bombear fluidos/líquidos que contienen sólidos, tales como residuos de alcantarillado. La bomba (B) se acopla a un motor (M) y está provista de un rotor (2) que posee un cubo central (25) de acople de un eje (M1) de dicho motor (M). Adicionalmente, dicha bomba (B) está provista de una tapa (3) fijada en la carcasa superior (B2) de la bomba (B), de manera tal que define una cámara (4) de encerramiento de sello mecánico (S), en donde tal cámara (4) se destina a llenarse por un fluido (no representado), tal como aceite. El sistema (1) de protección de sello mecánico (S) de la presente invención, está compuesto por una primera región (10) de expulsión y fragmentación de los residuos sólidos, formada por resaltes radiales (22), y por una segunda región (11) de expulsión y fragmentación de los residuos sólidos, formada por la asociación de un anillo dinámico (20) cooperante con un anillo estático (30).The present invention relates to a centrifugal pump mechanical seal protection system (1) (B) for pumping fluids / liquids containing solids, such as sewage residues. The mechanical seal protection system (1) of the present invention is composed of a first region (10) for expulsion and fragmentation of solid waste, formed by radial projections (22), and a second region ( 11) of expulsion and fragmentation of solid waste, formed by the association of a dynamic ring (20) cooperating with a static ring (30).
