Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición antibacteriana contra bacterias Gram positivas y Gram negativas, que contiene nanopartículas de plata (NPs Ag) con diámetro promedio de aproximadamente menor a 15 nm que poseen una superficie foto-catalíticamente inactiva, presentes en un rango de entre 8.5 y al 70% en peso respecto a la composición total, donde las NPs Ag son el agente antibacteriano que se mantiene homogéneamente expuesto por un agente de dispersión cerámico como el TiO2 y su actividad bactericida se genera en presencia de luz UV-visible y/o en la oscuridad.The present invention refers to an antibacterial composition against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria, which contains silver nanoparticles (NPs Ag) with an average diameter of approximately less than 15 nm that have a photocatalytically inactive surface, present in a range between 8.5 and 70% by weight with respect to the total composition, where the NPs Ag are the antibacterial agent that remains homogeneously exposed by a ceramic dispersing agent such as TiO2 and its bactericidal activity is generated in the presence of UV-visible light and / or in the dark.
