Abstract
En una sección de codificación, una sección de mezcla descendente forma el primer y el segundo canal de una señal de mezcla descendente como combinaciones lineales del primer y el segundo grupo de canales, respectivamente, de una señal de audio del canal ; y una sección de análisis determina los parámetros de mezcla ascendente para la reconstrucción paramétrica de la señal de audio, y los parámetros de mezcla. En una sección de decodificación, una sección de descorrelación produce una señal descorrelacionada en base a la señal de mezcla descendente; y una sección de mezcla determina los coeficientes de mezcla en base a los parámetros de mezcla o los parámetros de mezcla ascendente, y forma una señal de salida del canal como una combinación lineal de la señal de mezcla descendente y la señal descorrelacionada conforme con los coeficientes de mezcla. Los canales de la señal de salida se aproximan a combinaciones lineales de los grupos de los canales, respectivamente, de la señal de audio. Los grupos constituyen una partición diferente de la señal de audio en comparación con el primer grupo y el segundo grupo, y 2 < K <M.
