背景技术:目前的电水壶由于其壶体均是由单层金属冲压件构成,没有隔热设施,因此,致使壶体内的电热元件在加电后所产生的热能,有相当一部分通过壶体被传导散发到空气中,既浪费了电能,又使得壶体随壶内水温的升高而升高,极易造成人体触摸烫伤。

如图1所示,电水壶由壶体1、壶盖2和电热元件3组成。壶体1由内、外两层金属冲压的壳体构成,两层壳体之间充填由石棉或棉絮构成的隔热保温层4。
壶盖2也可由双层壳体构成,两层壳体之间充填同样的隔热保温层。
