Abstract

本实用新型公开了一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体、若干收容于绝缘本体内的导电端子及一对安装于绝缘本体上的扣持件。绝缘本体于其相对两端设有一对收容空间及一对与收容空间相连通的槽道。每一扣持件包括收容于收容空间内的主体部、由主体部向下延伸且收容于印刷电路板相应通孔内的顺从部及由主体部远离顺从部一端延伸出的梁部,该梁部收容于槽道内,以防止扣持件从绝缘本体上脱离。

【技术领域】
本实用新型是有关一种电连接器,尤其是指一种具有扣持装置的电连接器。
【背景技术】
业界有多种方式将电连接器固持于印刷电路板上,例如,电连接器包括一具有穿孔的安装凸缘,另利用诸如螺钉之类的元件穿过该穿孔且插入印刷电路板上的相应螺孔,从而将电连接器牢固安装至印刷电路板上。然而,由于该安装方式需要借用额外元件,增加了生产成本及复杂度,同时,由于印刷电路板更趋小型化,所以,业界通常采用体积更小更便于安装的扣持元件来代替上述的安装方式。
扣持件通常包括一对固持臂及由固持臂向外延伸形成的若干倒刺。安装至印刷电路板上时,固持臂插入印刷电路板上相应的通孔,固持臂由于受到孔缘的挤压先发生向内形变,穿过通孔后恢复原状。如此,倒刺与印刷电路板下表面干涉配合,进而将电连接器安装至印刷电路板上。然而,由于该种扣持件的倒刺需要恰好与印刷电路板下表面配合,所以,若印刷电路板的厚度改变,锁扣件需重新设计制造。
另一种扣持件具有顺从部,该顺从部可压缩地插入印刷电路板的通孔内,同时,该顺从部与通孔内壁干涉配合,从而将电连接器安装至印刷电路板上。然,该扣持件仅通过与通孔内壁的固持力将电连接器安装至印刷电路板上,所以,所需固持力较大,而较大固持力则需要较大插入力,这可能会导致扣持件于插入电路板时脱离电连接器的绝缘本体,因此,电连接器与印刷电路板间的安装可靠性无法保证。
所以,有必要设计一种具有改进的扣持件的电连接器,以克服上述技术问题。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种电连接器,其具有扣持件,可将该电连接器牢固扣持于印刷电路板上,从而保证电连接器与印刷电路板之间的电性连接。
本实用新型的另一目的在于提供一种具有扣持件的电连接器,该扣持件可将电连接器牢固固持于印刷电路板上,同时可防止在插入电路板过程中该扣持件从电连接器上脱离。
为达成上述目的,本实用新型可采用以下技术方案:一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体、若干导电端子及扣持件,绝缘本体包括收容空间及与收容空间相连通的槽道;若干导电端子固持于绝缘本体内;扣持件包括收容于收容空间的主体部、由主体部延伸出的顺从部及由主体部远离顺从部一端延伸出的梁部,梁部收容于槽道内以防止扣持件从绝缘本体上脱离。
相较于现有技术,本实用新型电连接器具有以下有益效果:扣持件的梁部收容于绝缘本体的槽道内,可防止扣持件于顺从部插入印刷电路板的相应通孔时脱离绝缘本体,从而可保证电连接器可靠安装至印刷电路板上。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1及图2所示,本实用新型的用以安装至印刷电路板(未图示)上电连接器1包括绝缘本体2、收容于绝缘本体2内的若干第一、第二导电端子3、4及一对安装于绝缘本体上的扣持件5。
绝缘本体2大体呈纵长型,其设有上、下安装面200、202。该绝缘本体2还包括基部20及由基部20向上延伸的对接部22。对接部22于安装面200上设有第一、第二收容腔220、222。第一收容腔220沿绝缘本体的纵长方向上的尺寸较第二收容腔222为小。若干第一、第二收容通道221、223由绝缘本体上安装面200延伸且贯穿下安装面202,并分别连通第一、第二收容腔220、222。对接部22于相对两端还设有一对导引块224用以保证电连接器1与对接连接器(未图示)准确配接。绝缘本体2的下安装面202突设有一对定位柱28,以收容于电路板上的相应通孔内。
基部20于纵长方向的相对两端部设有一对开口23及一对收容空间24,该收容空间24由基部20的顶面204向下安装面202延伸且与开口23相连通。每一收容空间24设有一导引面240以导引扣持件5插入收容空间24。对接部22于侧表面225还设有一对与收容空间24相连通的槽道25。
第一、第二端子3、4分别收容于第一收容通道221及第二收容通道223内。第一端子3包括突伸入第一收容腔220内的第一接触部30及向下延伸出下安装面202的压入式配合型的第一尾部32,该第一尾部32压入式配合于印刷电路板相应的通孔内。第二端子包括突出于第二收容腔222的第二接触部40及向下延伸出下安装面202的压入式配合型的第二尾部42,该第二尾部42压入式配合于印刷电路板相应的通孔内。
每一扣持件5由金属片冲裁而成,其包括两端设有倒刺500的板状主体部50、由主体部50顶端向上且向内延伸的梁部52及由主体部50底端向下延伸的顺从部54。该顺从部54及主体部50排列于同一平面。在本实施方式中,该顺从部54为压入式配合型。
请同时参阅图5至图7,扣持件5安装于绝缘本体2的相对两端。扣持件5先通过开口23向侧表面225移动,然后,向下移动而使主体部50收容于收容空间24内且梁部52收容于槽道25内。扣持件5通过主体部50的倒刺500与收容空间24的内壁干涉配合,从而将扣持件5固持于绝缘本体2内。顺从部54向下延伸出下安装面202以插入印刷电路板的相应通孔内。
当电连接器1安装至印刷电路板上时,扣持件5插入相应通孔时,顺从部54先向内压缩,然后,向外回弹以与印刷电路板安装面配合,如此,电连接器1牢固固持于印刷电路板上。
由于扣持件5的梁部52收容于绝缘本体2的槽道25内,所以,可防止扣持件5于顺从部54插入印刷电路板的相应通孔时脱离绝缘本体2,进而可保证电连接器1可靠安装至印刷电路板上。

Claims (7)

1.一种电连接器,包括绝缘本体、若干导电端子及扣持件,绝缘本体包括收容空间;导电端子固持于绝缘本体内;扣持件包括收容于收容空间的主体部及由主体部延伸出的顺从部,其特征在于:绝缘本体还包括与收容空间相连通的槽道;扣持件还包括由主体部远离顺从部一端延伸出的梁部,梁部收容于所述槽道内。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:收容空间设有导引面以导引扣持件插入收容空间内。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:扣持件的主体部的相对两端分别设有与收容空间内壁干涉配合的倒刺。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:扣持件的梁部由主体部向上且向内延伸而成。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:顺从部由主体部向下延伸而成,且主体部与顺从部排列于同一平面上。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:顺从部为压入式配合型。
7.一种电连接器,包括绝缘本体及扣持件,绝缘本体呈纵长构形,其包括基部及于基部向上延伸的对接部,于基部的对应端部形成有收容空间,对接部的至少一端形成有槽道,扣持件为金属材质,包括收容于对应收容空间的主体部及由主体部向下延伸出基部下表面的配合部,其特征在于:于对接部的至少一端形成有导引块,于竖直方向上在导引块及相应基部的对应端部之间设置有开口;所述收容空间位于导引块的下方,所述槽道与开口相连通,扣持件完全位于导引块的下方,其包括锁固于所述槽道内且相对于主体部偏置的梁部。
