本实用新型涉及一种电连接器,尤其是一种含有焊料的电连接器。
背景技术
众所周知,轻巧、便利、捷达是各类电子产品的发展趋势,也是各商家增加自身卖点、提高市场竞争力的有力武器,由此对各类电子产品中起到连接作用的电连接器之质量、性能、体积等各方面的要求越来越高,体积越小,性能越全,质量越可靠,便越是同类产品中的佼佼者。在现有技术下,电连接器一般通过焊接的方式固定连接于电路板上,如图1、图2所示,现有电连接器包括绝缘本体1及容设于绝缘本体1中的若干端子2与锡球3。该绝缘本体1设有锡球收容孔4以及与之相通的端子穿透孔5。该端子3的中段位于端子穿透孔5内,一端向上延伸形成一接触端6,以与外来组件(图中未画出)接触,另一端则形成一焊接端7以与电路板8相焊接。该焊接端7系大致垂直于端子中段,且其上设有一小于锡球3直径的小孔(未标示),该锡球3嵌在其中。当与电路板进行组装时,该锡球3会受热熔化,从而将电连接器端子2与电路板8上的焊垫(图中未画出)焊接固定,达成电连接器与电路板电性导通的目的。但是这种电连接器会因接触端7的占用面积过大,而不利于电连接器的小型化;在电连接器大小一定的情况下,因为端子接触端7过大,造成相邻端子间间隙过小,容易在焊接后造成短路。
发明内容
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种电连接器,以占用较小面积且不易产生短路。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型电连接器电连接器,其包括绝缘本体及容设于绝缘本体中的若干端子与焊料,该端子具有钩状焊接端,从而可占用较小面积且能有效避免电连接器相邻端子短路现象的发生。

具体实施方式
如图3与图4所示,本实用新型电连接器包括绝缘本体10及容设于绝缘本体10中的若干端子20与锡球30(当然也可以是其它形状的焊料,如锡膏等)。该绝缘本体10设有锡球收容孔12以及与之相通的端子穿透孔14。该端子20设有一固定于端子穿透孔14中的主体22,该主体22一端设有接触端24,以与外来组件(图中未画出)接触,另一端设有焊接端26,以与电路板(图中未画出)相焊接。该焊接端26大致呈圆弧形,其上表面抵住锡球30下半部且将其挽住,从而可将锡球30很好地固定。因为这种圆弧形焊接端26占用面积较小(比较图2与图4即可得知),且在电连接器大小一定的情况下,相邻端子间间距较大,从而能有效地避免短路现象的发生。
本实用新型电连接器还可以实施成图5与图6所示的方式。与上述电连接器不同点仅在于,该电连接器的端子焊接端26’大致呈钩状,其上表面抵住锡球30’下半部,以很好地将锡球30’固定于锡球收容孔12’内。同样,这种结构的焊接端占用面积小,也可有效避免短路现象的发生。

Claims (5)

1.一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体及容设于绝缘本体中的若干端子与焊料,其特征为:该端子具有钩状焊接端。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该焊接端上表面抵住焊料下半部。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该焊接端进一步延伸成挽住锡球的形状。
4.如权利要求1或2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该端子进一步包括主体和接触端,该接触端与焊接端位于主体的两端。
5.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该端子进一步包括主体和接触端,该接触端与焊接端位于主体的两端。
