本实用新型属于球网领域，体设计一种篮球筐下面的篮球网。
目前体育场馆使用的篮球网大多是尼龙绳或线绳编结而成。其作用是：当篮球投中时起到减少篮球下落速度避免伤人，并使球通过网孔下落到篮下不远的区域内，以便队员尽快投入比赛，缩短非比赛时间。但是，尼龙绳或线绳编织的篮球网基本适用于不受风吹、日晒、雨淋侵蚀的篮球馆等场所。而我国大部分篮球场地还是露天场地，它们集中在城市、乡村的学校、工厂、机关、部队营房、企事业单位等。这些露天场地只是在比赛时才安装一副新的尼龙绳或线绳编织的篮球网；其球网的寿命多则一个月，少则20天左右就已面目全非，不能长久使用。当人们业余练球时，一般是在没有球网的篮下进行，与有球网的篮相比感觉不同，球技受到影响。另外球的下落速度较快，对于小学生来说比较危险。
本实用新型的目的是提供一种经久耐用，不宜腐烂的篮球网。

2．根据权利要求1所述的篮球网，其特征在于所述的金属材料编织而成的篮球网由金属丝绕成环，环环相接形成链条式篮球网。
3．根据权利要求1或2所述的篮球网，其特征在于所述的链条式篮球网由3至4层链条组成，从上至下的链条环数递减，形成有一定缩口的篮球网。
