本实用新型提供了一种信封，一种用不干胶封口的信封。适用于平信、挂号信等各种类型的信封。
现有的信封，将信塞入后，均使用胶水或浆糊等粘结液封口。封口前，需临时涂粘结液，很麻烦，并且常将粘结液污染到其它地方，很不卫生。使用这种信封，邮局还需提供一个盆子做容器，每天更换粘结液，相当烦琐。大一点的邮局还需配备粘贴机，费钱，麻烦，而且效果不好。
本实用新型的目的是要提供一种改进的信封，它在封口时无须临时涂粘结液，非常方便，并且非常清洁、卫生。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的：生产信封时，即在信封的封口处涂一层不干胶溶液，稍干后，再在不干胶表面附一层保护纸。保护纸的用途是使封口处的不干胶在未使用时不致于与其它东西粘在一起。使用时，揭掉保护纸，便可将信件的封口牢牢地粘住。保护纸可采用目前市面上不干胶制品常用的防粘纸。
本实用新型因生产时已在信封的封口处涂有不干胶，并附有保护纸，使用时揭掉保护纸即可将封口处牢牢地粘住，无须临时往封口处涂粘结液，故使用时非常方便；又因不干胶很薄很浓，不会流出污染其它东西，所以很卫生，很清洁。
