本实用新型涉及一种新型偏振光实验仪,由光源S、准直镜C、孔径光栏D、单色滤光片F、玻璃堆G、偏振镜P、光屏H、以及色偏振器件等构成。它能够演示各种偏振光现象如线偏振;圆偏振;随圆偏振;色偏振;双折射引起的偏振;旋光偏振;反射起偏振;折射起偏振及会聚线偏振光束中晶体引起的干涉。其特点是光源亮度高而温度低,折射起偏振器件,色偏振器件和晶体片结构新颖,折射起偏振,色偏振,会聚偏振光中晶体片引起的干涉等现象非常明显。

Description

新型偏振光实验仪
本发明涉及一种新型光学教学仪器——新型偏振光实验仪。
现有偏振光实验仪的光源温度高,对光学器件不利;玻璃堆的折射起偏振效果不明显;色偏振效果也不明显。
新型偏振光实验仪的目的是为了提高玻璃堆折射起偏振度,使折射起偏振光效果明显,改善光源条件,降低光源热温,以便保护光学器件;提高色偏振效果。
为了达到该实用新型的目的,利用超薄型玻璃作为折射起偏振材料,使得有限体积的起偏器件内的玻璃介面数大大增加,折射起偏振度也就大大提高。其原理是,当光线入射角为布儒斯特角时,折射起偏振度随介面数的增加而提高。
新型偏振光实验仪采用低温冷光源,是带有反光罩的卤钨灯,其反光罩带有梭形镀膜,向后方散射热的功能好,使向前照射的光线热度相对降低,对偏振光学元件热影响小。达到了亮度高而温度低的目的。
新型偏振光实验仪,采用较大面积的色偏振元件,其薄膜厚度成梯形排列,在线偏振光场中,色调明显不同。
我们再以实施例进行说明,参考说明书附图1,该图为演示折射起偏振现象示意图。图中S为带梭形镀膜反射镜的卤钨灯,可近似视为点光源,由于反射镜罩的向后散射热功能,灯光照射方向的温度不太高,C为准直镜,D为孔径光栏,F为单色滤光片,G为折射起偏振玻璃堆,这些光学器件都安装在偏振光实验仪的导轨上,它们的光轴重合。G的两片外层玻璃厚度为1mm,中间夹层为0.3mm,夹层玻璃共30片,G总厚度为11mm。当光线入射角α=57°时,通过G达到光屏H的光为线偏振光,用检偏镜P进行检验,在面内旋转90°,可以观察到H上光亮度产生明显的变化。
新型偏振光实验仪的色偏振器件如图2所示,图2是色偏振器件结构示意图,圆形的透光部分为A、B、C三个部分,均为定向高分子排列的PVA薄膜,但是其厚度不同,呈梯形变化,D为铝制固定外框,G为固定支架,往实验仪的导轨上固定,E为紧固螺栓,可使D上下调整。F为紧固螺栓,可使G沿导轨移动或固定,若将G置于起偏镜和检偏镜之间的线偏振光场中,透过检偏镜可观察到A、B、C三部分的色彩明显不同,而且,当旋转检偏镜时,A、B、C三部分的色彩发生变化。
新型偏振光实验仪除可以进行折射起偏振和色偏振实验外,还可以进行反射起偏;线偏振;园偏振;椭圆偏振;双折射引起偏振;光弹性效应;旋光偏振以及会聚偏振光束中晶体片引起的干涉等实验。而且晶体片由方解石制作,会聚偏振光束中晶体引起的干涉图案非常明显。

Claims (4)

1、一种由光源S,准直镜C,孔径光栏D,单色滤光片F,玻璃堆G,偏振镜P,光屏H,以及色偏振器件等构成的新型偏振光实验仪,其特征是玻璃堆G由多层介面玻璃叠成,光源S是卤钨灯并带有镀膜反光罩。
2、根据权利要求1所述的新型偏振光实验仪,其特征是低温光源S为带梭形镀膜反光罩的小型卤钨灯。
3、根据权力要求所述的新型偏振光实验仪,其特征是玻璃堆G,由约0.3mm厚的薄型平面玻璃叠成。
4、根据权利要求1所述的新型偏振光实验仪,其特征是色偏振器件透光处为厚度成梯形变化的PVA薄膜。
