Technical Field
The present utility model relates to a mechanical stretcher for a movable seating unit and a seating unit including the mechanical stretcher.
Background
A variety of seating units for use in a mobile seating unit are known in the art, such as sofas or seats with multiple position changing functions. Along with the improvement of the living standard of people, the comfort requirements on sofas and seats are also increasingly improved. In known designs, the movable seating units are generally provided with mechanical extension means, whereby the seating units can be shifted between a sitting position, a TV position (or rest position) and a lying position, the footrests of the seating units extending forward when the seating units are shifted from the sitting position to the TV position, the angle between the backrest and the seat being substantially unchanged, the footrests being further raised forward and upwards than in the rest position when the seating units are shifted from the rest position to the lying position, the backrest being significantly reclined such that the legs of the user of the seating units are higher than the heads in the lying position, a so-called "zero gravity" sensation being experienced.
However, a disadvantage in the known designs is that with the change of the seat unit into the recumbent position, a gap is present between the backrest and the seat, which on the one hand pulls the user's coat upwards and on the other hand leads to a risk of items falling out of the gap.

The backrest assembly 2 is hinged to the rear of the seat assembly 1 and the leg extension means 3 is hinged to the front of the seat assembly 1. The seat assembly 1 is attached to the seat of the seat unit, the backrest assembly 2 is attached to the backrest of the seat unit, and the leg extension device 3 is attached to the footrest of the seat unit. By means of a relative movement of the seat assembly 1, the backrest assembly 2 and the leg extension means 3, the seat unit or its mechanical extension means can be shifted between a sitting position, a TV position and/or a lying position. In the sitting position, the backrest is upright and the footrest is folded under the seat; in the TV position, the backrest does not tilt significantly rearward, the footrest moves upward and forward to the front of the seat as the leg extension device extends; in the recumbent position, the footrest remains extended to the front of the seat while the backrest is inclined significantly rearward.
The seat assembly 1 includes a base assembly 11, a front swing link 12, a rear swing link 13, and a side plate 140 attached to the seat of the seat unit.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1, which is used for a floor-standing seating unit of an iron frame, the base assembly 11 directly supports the mechanical extension on the bottom surface and includes two mirror-symmetrical base stringers 111 provided on the left and right sides and a base front cross member 112 and a base rear cross member 113 connecting the two base stringers 111. However, in an embodiment not shown, the base assembly 11 may also indirectly support the mechanical extension device above the floor, for example, the base assembly 11 may be rotatably mounted on a rotating base, or the base assembly 11 may be fixedly coupled to the armrest portion of the floor-standing seating unit.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1, the front swing link 112 is hinged at its lower end to the front end of the base longitudinal beam 111, and the rear swing link 113 is hinged at its lower end to the rear end of the base longitudinal beam 111. The side plate 140 is movable relative to the base assembly 11, for which purpose in this embodiment the seat assembly 1 further comprises a central linkage 15, a seat linkage 16 and a side plate linkage 17, wherein the central linkage 15 is provided with a plurality of pivot points, with which the central linkage 15 is hinged to the backrest assembly 2, to the side plate 140, to the seat linkage 16 and to the rear swing link 13, respectively. One end of the seat linkage member 16 is connected with the front swing rod 12 through the side plate linkage member 17, and the other end of the seat linkage member 16 is connected with the central linkage member 15. Thus, the side plate 140 can be driven to move relative to the base assembly 11 by the swing of the front swing link 12 and the rear swing link 13, and then the backrest assembly 2 is driven to move.
The backrest assembly 2 comprises a backrest connector 20 attached to the backrest and a backrest link assembly pivotably connected to the backrest connector 20, said backrest link assembly comprising a first backrest link 21, a second backrest link 22, a third backrest link 23, a fourth backrest link 24 and a fifth backrest link 25. One end of the first backrest link 21 is hinged to the central linkage 15, and one end of the second backrest link 22 is hinged to the rear end of the side plate 140, wherein the first backrest link 21 is hinged to the second backrest link 22. The other end of the second backrest link 22 is hinged to the lower end of the third backrest link 23, and the upper end of the third backrest link 23 is hinged to the rear end of the backrest link 20. The upper end of the fourth backrest link 24 is hinged with the front end of the backrest link 20 at the first pivot point P1, the front end of the fifth backrest link 25 is hinged with the other end of the first backrest link 21 at the second pivot point P2, the rear end of the fifth backrest link 25 is hinged with the middle of the third backrest link 23, and the lower end of the fourth backrest link 24 is hinged with the middle of the fifth backrest link 25.
As shown in fig. 4 to 7, the leg extension device 3 is constituted by a plurality of links pivotally connected to each other, wherein the rear end of the first leg link 31 is hinged to the side plate 140, the front end of the first leg link 31 is hinged to the rear end of the second leg link 32, the rear end of the third leg link 33 is hinged to the front end of the side plate 140, the front end of the third leg link 33 is hinged to the rear end of the fourth leg link 34, and the front ends of the second leg link 32 and the fourth leg link 34 are respectively hinged to the first leg rest 35.
The mechanical stretching device further comprises a first transmission member 18 and a second transmission member 19 pivotally connected to each other, one end of the first transmission member 18 being hinged to one end of the second transmission member 19, the other end of the first transmission member 18 being hinged to the side plate 140, the other end of the second transmission member 19 being hinged to the leg stretching device 3, in particular to the first leg link 31. Thus, the side panels 140 of the seat assembly 1 move relative to the base assembly 11, bringing about the retraction and extension movements of the leg extension device 3.
To enable the seat unit to be changed between different positions, an electric drive 4 is also provided. The side plate 140 comprises a motor cross bar 40 fixedly connected at its inner side, and the electric drive 4 is coupled between said motor cross bar 40 and the base front cross bar 112 of the base assembly 11. The drive means 4 are preferably designed as linear electric drives, by means of which the side plates 140 can be moved relative to the base assembly 11 and thus the backrest assembly 2 and the leg extension means 3, so that the seat unit can be changed between different positions, for example between a sitting position, a TV position and a lying position.
The electric drive 4 is in this embodiment designed to cause the mechanical extension means of the seat unit to change between a sitting position, a TV position and a lying position. The electric drive device 4 comprises a motor head 41, a motor sliding rail 42 fixedly connected with the motor head 41, a motor sliding block 43 and a motor connecting rod 44, wherein the motor sliding block 43 can slide along the motor sliding rail 42 relative to the motor head 41. The motor head 41 is fixedly mounted on the base rear cross beam 113, one end of a motor connecting rod 44 is hinged with the motor sliding block 43, and the other end is hinged with the motor cross rod 40.
As shown in fig. 4-6, in the seated position shown in fig. 4, the first foot rest 35 is folded under the seat. If the seat unit is shifted from the sitting position shown in fig. 4 to the TV position shown in fig. 5, the first leg link 31 and the third leg link 33 are rotated by the side plates 140. In the process, second leg link 32 and fourth leg link 34 rotate first foot rest 35 upwardly. When the seat unit is shifted from the TV position shown in fig. 5 to the lying position shown in fig. 6, the first footrest 35 is raised and the footrest surface of the first footrest 35 forms an acute angle α forward with respect to the horizontal plane, which acute angle α is 16 ° to 19 °, in this embodiment, particularly preferably 17 °.
The mechanical stretcher further includes a first linkage 141, a second linkage 142, and a third linkage 143. The middle part of the second linkage member 142 is rotatably connected with the side plate 140, one end of the second linkage member 142 is connected with one end of the first linkage member 141, the other end of the first linkage member 141 is connected with the front swing link 12, the other end of the second linkage member 142 is connected with one end of the third linkage member 143, and the other end of the third linkage member 143 is pivotably connected with the first leg link 31 of the leg stretching device 3.
When the mechanical stretcher is in the sitting position shown in fig. 4, the back link 20 of the back assembly 2 stands up, forming an angle β with the horizontal plane with the back attached to the back link 20.
During the transition of the mechanical stretching device from the sitting position shown in fig. 4 to the TV position shown in fig. 5, the electric drive 4 is operated such that the motor slider 43 slides along the motor slide 42 towards the motor head 41 such that the distance between the motor head 41 and the motor slider 43 decreases. In the process, the motor slider 43 moves the side plate 140 forward, i.e., in the direction of the leg extension device 3, through the motor link 44, and the front swing link 12 and the rear swing link 13 swing forward. Thereby, the first link 141 moves forward with the front swing link 12, and pushes the first leg link 31 with the second link 142 and the third link 143; and thereby the leg extension device 3. The side plate interlocking piece 17 and the seat interlocking piece 16 also move forward along with the front swing rod 12 and drive the central interlocking piece 15 to move forward. In this process, the central linkage 15 moves forward along with the side plates 140, and the backrest assembly 2 is moved forward and downward as a whole by the first backrest link 21 and the second backrest link 22, without the backrest connecting member 20 being significantly tilted, wherein the first pivot point P1 and the second pivot point P2 move downward and forward.
During the transition of the mechanical stretching device from the TV position shown in fig. 5 to the lying position shown in fig. 6, the electric drive 4 continues to operate, so that the motor slider 43 slides further along the motor slide 42 towards the motor head 41, so that the distance between the motor head 41 and the motor slider 43 is further reduced. During this process, the motor slider 43 continues to move the side plate 140 forward, i.e. in the direction of the leg extension 3, via the motor link 44, with the front pendulum rod 12 and the rear pendulum rod 13 swinging forward with a greater extent. When the front swing link 12 and the rear swing link 13 swing to the maximum extent, the side plate 140 moves significantly forward with respect to the center link 15, thereby increasing the distance between the hinge point of the center link 15 and the first backrest link 21 and the hinge point of the side plate 140 and the second backrest link 22, and further causing the backrest link assembly to move forward while the backrest link assembly itself compresses and the backrest link 20 tilts strongly rearward. In the process, not only the first pivot point P1 and the second pivot point P2 are both moved forward, but also the distance between the first pivot point P1 and the second pivot point P2 is significantly reduced compared to in the sitting position and in the TV position. The backrest connector 20 is attached to the backrest of the seat unit, and the angle β of the backrest to the horizontal increases by at least 40 ° during the transition of the seat unit from the sitting position to the lying position.
Fig. 7 to 15 show an alternative embodiment according to the present application, wherein fig. 12 and 13 show side views of a TV pose and a lying position of a first modification, and fig. 14 and 15 show side views of a TV pose and a lying position of a second modification.
Unlike the embodiment shown in fig. 1 to 6, the leg extension device 3 of this alternative embodiment further comprises a second foot rest 37. The leg extension device 3 is constituted by a plurality of links pivotally connected to each other, wherein the rear end of the first leg link 31 is hinged to the side plate 140, the front end of the first leg link 31 is hinged to the rear end of the second leg link 32, the rear end of the third leg link 33 is hinged to the front end of the side plate 140, the front end of the third leg link 33 is hinged to the rear end of the fourth leg link 34, the front end of the second leg link 32 and the front end of the fourth leg link 34 are respectively hinged to the first footrest 35, and the front end of the fourth leg link 34 is hinged to the second footrest 37.
