wherein the book cover is configured to be switchable between a first configuration and a second configuration; in the first aspect, the first hinge and the second hinge are connected at a front side of the housing, the first hinge closing the first opening; in the second aspect, the first hinge and the second hinge are connected at a rear side of the housing, and form a bracket to support the housing.

According to one aspect of the utility model, one of the first and second flaps is provided with a socket structure, and the other of the first and second flaps is in socket fit with the socket structure.

According to one aspect of the utility model, the first hinge comprises a first sheet material and a second sheet material connected by a crease, wherein the first sheet material is connected with the housing by a crease;

the second hinge comprises a third plate, a fourth plate and a fifth plate which are connected through folds in sequence, wherein the third plate is connected with the shell through folds, the second hinge further comprises a sixth plate, the sixth plate is connected with the fifth plate, a second inserting opening is formed between the sixth plate and the fifth plate, and the second inserting opening can be used for inserting the second plate.

As shown in fig. 1, the book cover 100 includes a housing 110, a first fold 120, and a second fold 130. Wherein the housing 110 defines a receiving cavity 111, a first opening 112 is provided at the top of the housing 110, and a first socket 113 is provided at the front side of the housing 110, the first socket 113 being adapted for receiving a card (the card may be, for example, a calendar card, a decorative card, a toy card, etc.). The first hinge 120 is connected to the top of the housing 110, and the first hinge 120 can be folded along the connection between the first hinge and the housing 110; the second hinge 130 is connected to the bottom of the housing 110, and the second hinge 130 can be folded along the connection between the second hinge and the housing 110. As shown in fig. 2, 3 and 4, the book cover 100 is switchable between a first configuration and a second configuration; in the first configuration, the book cover 100 can cover the book to provide protection for the book, and in particular, in the first configuration, the first hinge 120 and the second hinge 130 are folded at the front side of the housing 110 and are connected to each other, and the book cover 100 forms a box body capable of accommodating the book; in the second mode, the book cover 100 may be used as a calendar in combination with a calendar card, the housing 110 of the book cover 100 may be used as a storage box, stationery such as a pen and an eraser may be placed in the housing 110, and other objects may also be placed in the housing 110.

According to an embodiment of the present utility model, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, the first hinge 120 and the second hinge 130 may be connected by plugging, for example, in this embodiment, a socket structure is disposed on the second hinge 130, and the first hinge 120 is plugged and matched with the socket structure; in another embodiment, a socket structure may be disposed on the first hinge 120, and the second hinge 130 is in plug-in fit with the socket structure. In other embodiments, the first hinge 120 and the second hinge 130 may be connected by bonding or other connection methods.

According to one embodiment of the present utility model, as shown in fig. 2, 3 and 4, the first hinge 120 includes a first sheet 121 and a second sheet 122 connected by a crease, wherein a side of the first sheet 121 remote from the second sheet 122 is connected to the housing 110 by a crease. The second hinge 130 includes a third plate 131, a fourth plate 132, a fifth plate 133 and a sixth plate 134, where the third plate 131, the fourth plate 132 and the fifth plate 133 are sequentially connected by a crease, one side of the third plate 131 far away from the fourth plate 132 is connected with the housing 110 by a crease, and the sixth plate 134 is opposite to the fifth plate 133 and is connected with each other. Specifically, fig. 5 shows a schematic view of the connection of the sixth sheet 134 and the fifth sheet 133 according to an embodiment of the present utility model, and as shown in fig. 5, one side edge of the sixth sheet 134 is connected to one side edge (e.g., left side edge) of the fifth sheet 133 by a crease, the other side edge of the sixth sheet 134 is bonded to the other side edge (e.g., right side edge) of the fifth sheet 133, and a second socket 135 is formed between the sixth sheet 134 and the fifth sheet 133, and the second socket 135 is configured to allow the second sheet 122 to be inserted. By matching the second plate 122 with the second insertion opening 135, the first hinge 120 and the second hinge 130 can be connected in a plugging manner, so that the user can switch the book cover 100 from the first configuration to the second configuration.

According to one embodiment of the present utility model, as shown in fig. 1, a chamfer is provided at an end of the second sheet 122 remote from the first sheet 121, so that a user inserts the second sheet 122 into the second receptacle 135.

According to one embodiment of the present utility model, as shown in fig. 4, the case 110 may include a front side plate 114, a rear side plate 115, a left side plate 116, and a right side plate 117, wherein the front side plate 114 is disposed opposite to the rear side plate 115, and the left side plate 116 and the right side plate 117 are connected between the front side plate 114 and the rear side plate 115. A second opening 118 is provided at the bottom of the housing 110, a third hinge 140 is connected to the bottom of the front side plate 114, and the first hinge 120 and the second hinge 130 are connected to the rear side plate 115 of the housing 110, respectively. When the book cover 100 is in the second configuration, the third hinge 140 closes the second opening 118 to prevent the items stored in the housing 110 from falling out.

According to one embodiment of the utility model, as shown in fig. 4, a tongue 141 is provided on the third hinge 140, and a third socket 136 is provided on the second hinge 130 (in particular, on the third plate 131), and when the book cover 100 is in the second configuration, the tongue 141 is inserted into the third socket 136; by the cooperation of the plug tongue 141 and the third socket 136, the third hinge 140 can be locked in a posture of closing the second opening 118, so as to prevent the third hinge 140 from being opened by mistake.

According to one embodiment of the utility model, as shown in FIG. 1, the first receptacle 113 may be formed by cutting into the front side panel 114. The first sockets 113 may be provided in two, and the two first sockets 113 are adapted to be respectively inserted into one corner of the card. When in use, two lower corners of a card (such as a rectangular card) can be respectively inserted into the two first sockets 113, so that the card can be fixed.

According to one embodiment of the present utility model, as shown in fig. 1, a notch 119 is provided at the top of the front side of the housing 110 to allow a user to take out an article from the housing 110.

Embodiments of the present utility model also provide a book comprising a book body and a book cover 100 as described above, said book cover 100 being adapted to cover (house) said book body in a first configuration. The book may also include cards, which may be calendar cards, decorative cards, game cards, etc., that are adapted to be inserted into the first receptacle 113 on the book cover 100.

Compared with the prior art, the embodiment of the utility model provides the book jacket 100 and the book, wherein the book jacket 100 has multiple purposes, can be used for other purposes after the book is opened, is not easy to discard, and is more beneficial to environmental protection. In particular, the book cover 100 may cover a book in the first configuration, thereby protecting the book; in the second configuration, the book cover 100 may be used with a calendar card as a desk calendar, and the housing 110 of the book cover 100 may be used as a storage box.

Claims (9)

1. A book cover, comprising:

a housing defining a receiving cavity, a first opening being provided at a top of the housing, a first socket being provided at a front side of the housing, the first socket being adapted to receive a card;

a first hinge connected to the top of the housing;

the second hinge is connected to the bottom of the shell;

wherein the book cover is configured to be switchable between a first configuration and a second configuration; in the first aspect, the first hinge and the second hinge are connected at a front side of the housing, the first hinge closing the first opening; in the second aspect, the first hinge and the second hinge are connected at a rear side of the housing and form a bracket to support the housing.

2. The book cover of claim 1, characterized in that one of the first and second flaps is provided with a socket structure, the other of the first and second flaps being in a socket fit with the socket structure.

3. The book cover of claim 2, wherein the first flap comprises a first sheet of material and a second sheet of material connected by a crease, wherein the first sheet of material is connected to the housing by a crease;

the second folding page comprises a third plate, a fourth plate and a fifth plate which are connected in sequence through folds, wherein the third plate is connected with the shell through folds; the second hinge further comprises a sixth plate, the sixth plate is connected with the fifth plate, a second insertion opening is formed between the sixth plate and the fifth plate, and the second insertion opening can be used for inserting the second plate.

4. A book cover according to claim 3, wherein the end of the second sheet material remote from the first sheet material is provided with a chamfer.

The book cover of any one of claims 1-4, characterized in that the housing comprises a front side plate, a rear side plate, a left side plate and a right side plate, the first and second flaps being connected to the rear side plate, respectively, the bottom of the housing being provided with a second opening, the bottom of the front side plate being connected to a third flap, in the second configuration, the third flap closing the second opening.

6. The book cover of claim 5 wherein the third hinge has a tab and the second hinge has a third slot, and wherein in the second configuration the tab is inserted into the third slot.

7. The book cover of claim 1, characterized in that the front top of the housing is provided with a notch.

8. A book, comprising:

a book cover as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 7; and

book body.

9. The book of claim 8 further comprising a card adapted to be received in a first receptacle on the book cover.
