The utility model provides an electric toothbrush handle.
In the embodiment of the present utility model, referring to fig. 1 to 5, the electric toothbrush handle 100 includes a handle housing 110, a motor 120, and a waterproof structure 130; wherein the handle housing 110 has a mounting cavity 111 and an extension hole 112 communicating with the mounting cavity 111. The motor 120 includes a motor body 121 and a motor shaft 122, the motor body 121 is mounted in the mounting cavity 111, the lower end of the motor shaft 122 is connected with the motor body 121, and the upper end extends out of the handle housing 110 through the extending hole 112.
The waterproof structure 130 is sleeved on the periphery of the motor shaft 122 and is positioned at the position of the extending hole 112 so as to be clamped between the handle shell 110 and the motor shaft 122 in a sealing manner; the waterproof structure 130 includes a hard support 131 and an elastic waterproof member 140, the elastic waterproof member 140 having a first sealing surface 141 for sealing with an inner wall surface of the handle housing 110 or an outer wall surface of the motor shaft 122; the elastic waterproof member 140 is injection molded and wrapped around the hard support member 131, so that the hard support member 131 supports the first sealing surface 141 in the normal direction of the first sealing surface 141.
In the present embodiment, the handle housing 110 may have a single-layer housing structure or a double-layer housing structure, and is not particularly limited herein. The handle housing 110 may be made of metal, plastic, or the like, and when the handle housing 110 is a double-layer housing, the outer housing of the handle housing 110 may be made of metal, and the inner housing of the handle housing 110 may be made of plastic. The upper end of the motor shaft 122 protrudes out of the handle housing 110 through the protruding hole 112 to be connected with the brush head assembly 200, and the brush head assembly 200 is driven to vibrate at high frequency or rotate around an axis by the motor 120.
So that the waterproof structure 130 is sleeved on the periphery of the motor shaft 122 and is clamped between the handle housing 110 and the motor shaft 122, the waterproof structure 130 can seal and waterproof the connection between the motor shaft 122 and the handle housing 110, so that water is prevented from entering the motor 120 from the connection between the motor shaft 122 and the handle housing 110. The elastic waterproof member 140 may be made of an elastic sealing material such as silicone rubber or rubber. The hardness of the hard support 131 is higher than that of the elastic waterproof member 140, and the hard support 131 may be made of a metal material such as steel, iron, or alloy. Optionally, the elastic waterproof member 140 is made of a silica gel material, and the hard supporting member 131 is made of a metal material. The elastic waterproof member 140 forms a sealing surface with the inner wall surface of the handle housing 110 and/or the outer wall surface of the motor shaft 122. The first sealing surface 141 may be a surface extending in the axial direction of the motor shaft 122 or a surface extending in the radial direction of the motor shaft 122.
According to the electric toothbrush handle 100, the elastic waterproof piece 140 is molded and wrapped on the periphery of the hard supporting piece 131, so that the hard supporting piece 131 can effectively support the elastic waterproof piece 140, the rigidity of the whole waterproof structure 130 is improved, and sealing failure caused by ageing and deformation of a silica gel waterproof ring due to high-speed rotation or high-frequency vibration of the motor shaft 122 is avoided; meanwhile, the first sealing surface 141 of the elastic waterproof member 140 is tightly attached to the inner wall surface of the handle housing 110 and/or the outer wall surface of the motor shaft 122 by the hard support member 131, so that the sealing reliability of the sealing interface between the first sealing surface 141 of the elastic waterproof member 140 and the handle housing 110 or the motor shaft 122 can be improved.
In addition, the elastic waterproof member 140 is molded and wrapped around the hard support member 131, so that the connection between the hard support member 131 and the elastic waterproof member 140 is more stable and reliable, and the entire waterproof structure 130 is more compact and occupies less space than the connection supported by the external clamping member. Meanwhile, since the hard supporting piece 131 is embedded in the elastic waterproof piece 140, the effective sealing area is not reduced because the elastic waterproof piece 140 needs to be matched and connected with the external clamping piece, so that the available sealing area between the elastic waterproof piece 140 and the inner wall surface of the handle shell 110 and between the elastic waterproof piece and the motor shaft 122 is larger, and the overall sealing effect is better.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 2 to 5, the first sealing surface 141 is provided with a first waterproof bead 142, and the first waterproof bead 142 extends around the circumference of the motor shaft 122; the hard support 131 is disposed corresponding to the first waterproof bead 142 in the normal direction of the first sealing surface 141.
In this embodiment, the number of the first waterproof beads 142 may be set to one or more concentric circles. To improve sealing reliability, the first waterproof bead 142 may optionally be annular extending around the circumference of the motor shaft 122. Through protruding the first waterproof bead 142 of establishing on first sealed face 141, and make hard support 131 correspond first waterproof bead 142 setting in the normal direction of first sealed face 141, then hard support 131 can upwards support and end to first waterproof bead 142 for the laminating between the outer wall surface of first waterproof bead and handle casing 110 or motor shaft 122 is inseparabler, further promotes the waterproof seal reliability of first sealed face 141.
Further, referring to fig. 4, the rigid support member 131 extends along the circumferential direction of the motor shaft 122 in a ring shape. By making the hard support member 131 annular, the hard support member 131 can effectively support the first sealing surface 141 and the first waterproof bead 142 around the circle of the motor shaft 122, thereby further improving the sealing reliability of the sealing interface between the first sealing surface 141 of the elastic waterproof member 140 and the handle housing 110 or the motor shaft 122.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 2 to 6, the elastic waterproof member 140 includes a sealing cap 150, and the sealing cap 150 includes a cylindrical body 151 and a sealing ring 152 connected to the outer periphery of the lower end of the cylindrical body 151;
the cylinder 151 is sleeved on the periphery of the motor shaft 122 and is clamped between the motor shaft 122 and the inner wall surface of the extending hole 112; the seal ring 152 is interposed between the motor body 121 and the handle housing 110 in the up-down direction;
the top surface of the sealing ring 152 forms the first sealing surface 141, and the hard support 131 is embedded in the sealing ring 152 and is at least partially disposed corresponding to the cylinder 151 in the up-down direction.
In the present embodiment, the cylindrical body 151 and the seal ring 152 are integrally formed for improving the structural strength. It is understood that the seal ring 152 is provided protruding from the lower end outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 151. The cylindrical body 151 is interposed between the motor shaft 122 and the inner wall surface of the protruding hole 112 to waterproof-seal a gap between the outer peripheral wall of the motor shaft 122 and the inner wall surface of the protruding hole 112; that is, the axial direction of the motor shaft 122 is effectively sealed. By sandwiching the seal ring 152 between the motor body 121 and the handle housing 110 in the up-down direction, the elastic waterproof member 140 also radially seals the gap between the handle housing 110 and the motor body 121, further improving the sealing reliability of the elastic waterproof member 140 between the motor 120 and the handle housing 110. And the top surface of the sealing ring 152 forms the first sealing surface 141, the hard support 131 can support the top surface of the sealing ring 152 upwards and support the bottom surface of the sealing ring 152 downwards at the same time, so that the sealing ring 152 is tightly attached to the motor body 121 and the handle housing 110, and the waterproof sealing interface is more reliable. By arranging the hard support 131 at least partially corresponding to the cylindrical body 151 in the vertical direction, the hard support 131 can also play a certain role in supporting the cylindrical body 151, so that the rigidity of the sealing ring 152 and the cylindrical body 151 is improved at the same time, and the deformation failure of the sealing ring 152 and the cylindrical body 151 in long-term use is avoided.
Specifically, referring to fig. 2 to 5, the hard support 131 is in a sheet shape, and the thickness direction of the hard support 131 is set up along the up-down direction. By making the hard support 131 sheet-like and the thickness direction along the up-down direction, the hard support 131 is more easily embedded in the seal ring 152. And the supporting surface of the hard supporting piece 131 is basically parallel to the first sealing surface 141, so that the effective supporting surface of the hard supporting piece 131 can be maximized, the volume of the hard supporting piece 131 is minimized while the hard supporting piece 131 is ensured to support the first sealing surface 141 and the cylinder 151, and the weight of the whole electric toothbrush handle 100 is prevented from being greatly increased due to overlarge volume of the hard supporting piece 131.
Further, referring to fig. 2 to 5, the elastic waterproof member 140 further includes a sealing sleeve 160, and the sealing sleeve 160 is located in the cylinder 151 and sleeved on the periphery of the motor shaft 122; the waterproof structure 130 further includes a clamping member 170, where the clamping member 170 is disposed around the sealing sleeve 160 to clamp the sealing sleeve 160 and the motor shaft 122.
In this embodiment, the sealing sleeve 160 and the sealing cover 150 may be integrally formed, or may be separately formed. The seal cartridge 160 is interposed between the inner wall surface of the cylindrical body 151 and the outer peripheral wall of the motor shaft 122. The clamping member 170 may be a spring or the like. By arranging the clamping member 170 to be sleeved on the periphery of the sleeve so as to clamp the sealing sleeve 160 and the motor shaft 122, on one hand, the sealing sleeve 160 can be prevented from falling off from the driving shaft, and on the other hand, the sleeve can be extruded and radially supported, so that the sealing between the sleeve and the motor shaft 122 is more reliable. It will be appreciated that since there is sufficient space between the cylindrical body 151 and the sealing sleeve 160 without the need for other connection structures therebetween, the space between the cylindrical body 151 and the sealing sleeve 160 can be fully utilized by providing the external clamping member 170 to clamp the sealing sleeve 160 and the motor shaft 122. The sealing ring 152 is axially supported by the hard supporting piece 131, and the sealing sleeve 160 is radially supported by the clamping piece 170, so that the axial and radial sealing interfaces of the whole waterproof structure 130 can be effectively supported, the overall rigidity of the waterproof structure 130 is greatly improved while the overall structure is compact, the occupied space is small and the available sealing area is large, the sealing reliability between the waterproof structure 130 and the handle shell 110 and the motor shaft 122 can be further ensured, the service life of the waterproof structure 130 is prolonged, and sealing failure caused by aging deformation of the waterproof structure 130 in long-term use is avoided.
In an embodiment, as shown in fig. 3 and 5, the middle part of the upper end wall of the cylinder 151 is concavely disposed; the upper end of the sealing sleeve 160 abuts the upper end wall of the first barrel. It will be appreciated that the barrel 151 is exposed through the aperture 112 of the handle housing 110. When the brush head assembly 200 is mounted on the electric toothbrush handle 100, if the middle portion of the upper end wall of the barrel 151 is protruded, the brush rod bottom wall surface of the brush head assembly 200 is not tightly attached to the upper end surface of the handle housing 110, and dirt and bacteria are easily generated between the brush rod bottom wall surface and the upper end surface of the handle housing 110. By making the middle of the upper end wall of the barrel 151 concave downward, the upper end wall of the barrel 151 can be prevented from interfering with the installation of the brush head assembly 200, so that the brush rod bottom wall surface of the brush head assembly 200 can be tightly attached to the upper end surface of the handle housing 110. And through making the upper end butt of seal cover 160 the upper end wall of first barrel, seal cover 160 can carry out certain support to the upper end wall of first barrel, avoids the middle part of the upper end wall of barrel portion 151 to collapse excessively.
Further, referring to fig. 2, 3 and 5, the sealing sleeve 160 includes a sleeve portion 161 and an abutment collar 163 extending outwardly from an upper end periphery of the sleeve portion 161, the sleeve portion 161 is sleeved on an outer peripheral wall of the motor shaft 122, and the clamping member 170 is sleeved on an outer periphery of the sleeve portion 161 and supports a lower wall surface of the abutment collar 163.
In this embodiment, the clamping member 170 is sleeved on the outer periphery of the sleeve portion 161 and supports the lower wall surface of the abutment convex ring 163 upwards, so that the clamping member 170 is fully utilized to support and push the abutment convex ring 163 upwards, and the middle part of the upper end wall of the cylinder portion 151 can be supported, so that the middle part of the upper end wall of the cylinder portion 151 is prevented from being excessively deformed.
Further, as shown in fig. 2, 3, 5 and 6, a lower wall surface of the upper end wall of the cylinder 151 is provided with a second waterproof rib 154 corresponding to the abutment collar 163 and/or the sleeve portion 161, and the second waterproof rib 154 is disposed around the motor shaft 122.
In this embodiment, the sealing sleeve 160 and the sealing cover 150 are of a split structure. The number of the second waterproof beads 154 may be set to one turn or concentric turns may be set. It can be appreciated that, by supporting the abutting convex ring 163 by the clamping member 170 and/or upwardly pressing the second waterproof convex rib 154 by the upper end surface of the sleeve portion 161, the radial seal between the sealing sleeve 160 and the upper end wall of the barrel 151 can be achieved, the waterproof reliability between the sealing sleeve 160 and the sealing cover 150 can be ensured, and the reliability of the entire waterproof structure 130 can be further improved.
In an embodiment, referring to fig. 3 and 5, the inner circumferential wall of the sealing sleeve 160 is provided with a plurality of third waterproof ribs 162 disposed at intervals in the up-down direction, and the plurality of third waterproof ribs 162 are disposed around the motor shaft 122; the clamping member 170 is disposed corresponding to the plurality of third waterproof beads 162 in the radial direction of the motor shaft 122.
In the present embodiment, it is understood that since the sealing sleeve 160 is sleeved on the outer circumferential wall of the motor shaft 122, it is easily detached under the high-frequency vibration of the driving shaft. By protruding the inner peripheral wall of the sealing sleeve 160 with a plurality of third waterproof ribs 162, the friction between the sealing sleeve 160 and the motor shaft 122 can be increased, so that the two are more tightly and firmly matched. And a plurality of third waterproof ribs 162 arranged at intervals in the axial direction of the motor shaft 122 can perform multiple waterproofing in the axial direction, so that the overall waterproof effect is better. The clamping member 170 is disposed corresponding to the third waterproof ribs 162 in the radial direction of the motor shaft 122, so that the clamping member 170 can press the third waterproof ribs 162 against the peripheral wall of the driving shaft, and the axial sealing reliability of the entire motor shaft 122 can be further improved.
Further, as shown in fig. 1 to 3, an upper end surface of the sealing sleeve 160 slidably abuts against a lower wall surface of the upper end wall of the cylinder 151; the sealing sleeve 160 is fixedly connected with the motor shaft 122, so as to drive the sealing sleeve 160 to rotate relative to the sealing cover 150 when the motor shaft 122 rotates around the axis thereof.
In the present embodiment, the cylindrical body 151 of the seal cap 150 may be fixedly coupled to the inner wall surface of the protruding hole 112 by interference, adhesion, or the like. The sealing sleeve 160 may be fixed around the motor shaft 122 by interference fit, glue bonding, etc., so that the sealing sleeve 160 is fixed and non-rotatable relative to the driving shaft. The sealing sleeve 160 and the sealing cover 150 are of a split structure, the upper end surface of the sealing sleeve 160 is slidably abutted against the lower wall surface of the upper end wall of the cylinder 151, so that the sealing sleeve 160 can rotate around the axis along with the motor shaft 122 relative to the sealing cover 150, and compared with the structure of integrating the sealing sleeve 160 and the sealing cover 150, the waterproof structure 130 is prevented from being twisted off, aged and invalid due to rotation along with the driving shaft, and the service life of the waterproof structure 130 is effectively prolonged.
In combination with the foregoing embodiment in which the hard support 131 is in a sheet shape, as shown in fig. 2 to 6, further, a plurality of mold positioning holes 132 are formed on the hard support 131 and are spaced around the circumference of the motor shaft 122, and the elastic waterproof member 140 is injection molded for two times and fills a part of the mold positioning holes 132. The number of mold locating holes 132 can be selected and designed according to actual requirements. Optionally, the number of the mold positioning holes 132 is four, two holes are used for mold positioning, and the other two holes are used for the flexible material to pass through when the elastic waterproof member 140 is injection molded or sleeved on the periphery of the rigid support member 131, so as to increase the bonding strength with the flexible material.
