6. The tent of claim 5 wherein the cushion removably engages the recessed deck, the upper surface of the cushion extending beyond or flush with the upper surface of the bottom rim.

7. The ledger of claim 6, characterized in that the bottom panel is provided with at least one vent.

The roof tent according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the tent cloth of the roof tent includes a sunshade attached to the cover plate assembly, the roof tent further includes at least two stay bars detachably attached to the base plate assembly, and the other ends of the stay bars elastically support the sunshade.
