Detailed Description
The present utility model provides a device for accommodating a display screen, which includes a housing and a cover that can be mounted to the housing to protect various components in the housing, such as a circuit board, wires, etc., and also serves as a carrier for mounting the display screen.
As shown in fig. 1-2, the housing 1 includes an upper portion 112 and a lower portion 114, the upper portion 112 extending circumferentially outwardly from the lower portion 114 such that the upper portion 112 defines a planar bearing surface 116, the bearing surface 116 for supporting a lid. The lower portion 114 of the housing 1 defines an interior cavity 100, the interior cavity 100 being adapted to receive and protect fittings such as wires and the like, along with a cover.
The housing 1 has a mounting mechanism 120 provided at the bottom thereof, the mounting mechanism 120 protruding outwardly from the inner bottom surface 118 of the housing 1 (or protruding upwardly toward the upper portion 112) and having through holes through which screws or the like can be fixed to a wall or a plate of another scene. The mounting mechanism 120 protrudes outwardly from the inner bottom surface 118 of the housing 1 such that the length of the housing to which the screw is secured increases, thereby enhancing the stability of the housing secured to a wall or panel. The number of mounting mechanisms 120 may be four, six, etc.
The housing 1 further comprises a threading hole 160, the threading hole 160 of the embodiment shown in fig. 1 and 2 penetrating both the bottom (fig. 1) and the side (fig. 2) of the housing 1, which arrangement leaves sufficient space for wires in the inner cavity for connection to the outside. In other embodiments, the threading aperture 160 may pass through only the bottom of the housing or through only either side of the housing.
Fig. 3 is a sectional view of the housing 1 taken along line B-B in fig. 1. In connection with the embodiment shown in fig. 1-3, at the first side 151 of the housing 1, the upper portion 112 of the housing 1 has a first protrusion 170 extending inwardly in a horizontal direction X (referred to herein as "horizontal direction X" is not a vector direction, but a scalar direction). At a second side 152 of the housing 1 opposite the first side 151, the upper portion 112 of the housing 1 also has a second protrusion 180 extending inwardly in the horizontal direction X. The first protrusion 170 and the second protrusion 180 are each for engagement with a recess of a side surface of the cover, which will be described in detail later. In addition, the upper portion 112 of the housing 1 also has a dismounting hole 182, the dismounting hole 182 being arranged between the support surface 116 and the second projection 180, the dismounting hole 182 being intended to cooperate with a dismounting mechanism of the cover for facilitating the dismounting of the cover with the display screen.
Fig. 4 shows one side of the cover 2 for engagement with the housing 1. As shown in fig. 4, the cover 2 has an engagement surface 226 for contacting the bearing surface 116 of the housing 1 to effect mounting and support of the cover. The cover 2 may further comprise a guide 214 extending perpendicularly from the engagement surface 226, the guide 214 being contactable with an inner wall of the lower portion 114 of the housing 1 when the cover 2 is mounted to the housing 1, thereby effecting the guiding action.
Fig. 5 shows one side of the cover 2 for loading a display screen, wherein the cover 2 serves as a carrier for the display screen. The display will be supported by the top surface 206 of the cover 2. The cover 2 has a spacer 210, one end face of the spacer 210 being flush with the engagement face 226 of the cover 2 and the other end face being lower than the top surface 206 of the cover 2 (from the perspective of the finished device for receiving a display screen). The partition 210 is provided with a hollow area 240 therein, and the hollow area 240 is used for placing a circuit board (not shown in the drawings) of the display screen controller, so that the partition 210 covers only a part of the inner cavity 100 of the housing 1. Since one of the end faces of the spacer 210 is lower than the top surface 206 of the cover 2, the spacer 210 also defines an installation space 200 for placing a display screen and optionally an adhesive layer or a related layer in the field of display panels.
It can also be seen in connection with fig. 4 and 5 that the first side 251 of the cover 2 is arranged with a first recess 270, which is capable of engaging with the first protrusion 170 of the housing 1. The second side 252 of the cover 2 is arranged with a second recess 280 which is engageable with the second protrusion 180 of the housing 1. When the cover 2 is mounted to the housing 1, the first side 251 of the cover 2 moves toward the first side 151 of the housing 1 such that the first protrusion 170 is substantially embedded in the first recess 270, and then the cover 2 is pressed downward such that the second recess 280 of the cover 2 accommodates the second protrusion 180. It should be noted that the length of the second protrusion 180 in the horizontal direction X is small, preferably 0.2mm-0.8mm, for example 0.4mm, which enables the cover 2 of plastic material to be easily pressed into the housing 1 due to the softer nature of the material.
The lid 2 also has a removal mechanism 282, the removal mechanism 282 being a third recess extending obliquely from the engagement surface 226 of the lid 2 to the outer surface of the second side 252 of the lid 2. When the assembly of the housing 1 and the cover 2 is completed, the attachment/detachment hole 182 of the housing 1 faces the attachment/detachment mechanism 282 of the cover 2. When the user removes the device of the present utility model, he inserts an auxiliary tool, such as a flat insert, for example, a screw driver, into the removing hole 182 of the housing 1 and against the removing mechanism 282 of the cover 2, and then applies a downward force to the auxiliary tool to separate the cover 2 from the housing 1 by applying an upward force, so that the user can easily remove the cover 2 from the housing 1.
