7. The food processor of claim 5, wherein each of said ribs intersect one another to form a grid of ribs within said stiffening grooves.
8. The food processor of claim 5, wherein the lower cap has a top end with a greater number of ribs than the bottom end of the lower cap.
9. The food processor of claim 1, wherein one of said upper cover and said lower cover is provided with a slot and the other is provided with a latch that mates with said slot.
10. The food processor of claim 9, wherein the handle is further provided with a reinforcing rib, and the reinforcing rib is disposed on the periphery of the slot.
