Description

Rotary resistance exercise device
Technical Field
The utility model relates to the technical field of exercise equipment, in particular to a rotary resistance exercise device.
Background
Aerobic regulation and strength training are very important for maintaining physical well-being, jump ropes can provide excellent aerobic exercises and strength construction, jump ropes' rotational resistance exercises can provide high intensity upper body training, however, jump ropes allow only a few limited arm exercises, which limits the number of muscles and joints that can participate in and benefit from rotational resistance exercises, and furthermore, jump ropes can only perform limited lower limb exercises; furthermore, learning rope skipping is not easy, which has led to the development of rope skipping simulators, replacing a single rope with two separate hand-held rotating members and other rotational resistance devices that can be used in pairs; these devices can be divided into several categories, some flexible rope skipping simulators, where each hand-held unit typically includes a handle attached to one end of a rope or an elongated member, and an optional object secured to the other end, such as a tassel, badminton or ball, other flexible rope skipping simulators including rope loops, however, these flexible devices provide limited rotational resistance exercise, another category of rope simulators including rotating weighted elements, but which may hit and injure a person when rotated, and another category of semi-rigid rotational resistance exercise devices, which require a rigid mechanism to maintain the angle between the handle and the rotating portion so that the latter does not hit the user, but are cumbersome and limited to use, none of which truly simulate rope skipping rotational resistance movement, especially rope skipping air resistance and weight resistance balance.
Another type of rotational resistance apparatus is designed to improve a user's swing in a particular sport, such as golf, baseball or tennis, which includes a shaft and uses relatively large air resistance fins or blades of weight or near distal end to provide resistance, by definition, the shaft maintains its generally straight shape and is rigid, or it is at least substantially rigid, having some curvature during the user's swing, which has its own shaft or connection to an athletic equipment, such as a baseball bat or golf club, rigid shaft-based rotational resistance apparatus may be useful for enhancing strength and improving a particular swing motion, rigid shaft, and large air resistance fins, while being effective for performing a personal swing, but not suitable for continuous rotational motion and its aerobic, strength, high strength training and endurance benefits, and therefore, a rotational resistance exercise apparatus is needed to address the above-mentioned problems.
