The tail gate assembly of claim 2, wherein the tail gate inner panel is provided with a mounting location, the mounting location is located in the first region, the mounting location is in communication with a mounting portion of the tail gate lock, and both the mounting location and the mounting portion are connected to the securing member.

10. A vehicle comprising a body and the tailgate assembly of any one of claims 1 to 9, the tailgate assembly being connected to the body, the body comprising a latch that mates with a tailgate of the tailgate assembly.
