6. A water filtering screen for a water meter as recited in claim 5, wherein said expansion block closes an outer bottom surface of said screen body; the expansion block can prevent water flow from flowing to the outer bottom surface of the filter screen main body through the expansion block.

A strainer for a water meter as set forth in claim 6, wherein said bottom surface of said strainer body extends circumferentially downwardly to form an annular skirt; the expansion block is arranged in the annular enclosing plate and is tightly matched with the annular enclosing plate; the bottom surface of the expansion block protrudes out of the bottom surface of the annular enclosing plate.

A water filtering screen for a water meter as claimed in claim 5, wherein the top surface of said expansion block abuts against the outer bottom surface of said screen body and is elastically deformable in a vertical direction; the expansion block is also used for compressing and abutting with the shell of the external water meter so as to enable the filter screen main body to abut against the shell of the external water meter.
