It will be appreciated that when the seal is depressed, the ball valve 440, under the dual constraint of the depression force and the neck boss 122, may move axially while rotating about the first connection 421. The positioning rib 421 can limit the angle that the ball valve 440 can rotate by the cooperation of the pen neck protrusion 122 and the pen neck protrusion, and precisely position the position where the ball valve 440 can rotate to open or close.
As shown in fig. 16, in one embodiment, the rear end of the sleeve 420 is sleeved with a return spring 500, which constitutes a response delay mechanism, and the return spring 500 is always in a state of having a pre-pressure elasticity in the closed state of the sealing mechanism 400, and is pressed between the cap 120 and the sleeve 420, so as to apply a forward pre-pressure to the sleeve 420.
As shown in FIG. 17, when the seal-actuated pen is in the closed position, the nib 330 is retracted within the neck 120 and the ball valve 440 is in interference fit with the sealing ring 430, in the closed position. When writing is required, the knock rod 210 moves forward, and simultaneously the bushing 420 of the sealing mechanism 400 moves forward synchronously under the pre-pressure of the return spring 500, and the ball valve 440 rotates by the neck boss 122 when moving forward in the axial direction, and in this process, the entire sealing mechanism 400 moves forward synchronously with the pen tip 330 until the pen tip 330 is switched to the open state, so that the pen tip 330 does not touch the sealing mechanism 400 in front all the time. Fig. 19 shows a critical point of switching between the closed state and the open state, where the ball valve 440 rotates 90 °, an open channel is formed in front of the neck 120, the through-hole channel of the sealing ring 430 is completely exposed, the bushing 420 is positioned at the limited position under the action of the neck positioning rib 121, as the liner 230 continues to advance, the pen point is exposed at the front end (i.e., writing end) of the neck 120 through the through-hole of the sealing ring until the pen point is positioned at the matched limited position of the rotary wheel boss 221 and the guide groove 111 boss, and the state at this time refers to fig. 18, in which the user can write.
When the pen point 330 is switched from the open state to the closed state, the pen point moves into the cavity of the casing 100 under the elastic action of the extension spring 250, and the bushing 420 is not moved temporarily under the pressure action of the return spring 500 on the bushing 420, and at this time, the ball valve 440 is not moved, and when the pen point 330 retracts inside the pen neck 120 and is far away from the sealing mechanism 400, the lining 230 drives the bushing 420 and drives the ball valve 440 to move backwards through the hooking action of the lining boss 235 on the bushing second connection portion 422, so that the switching to the closed state is completed. That is, the pen tip 330 completes the action of retracting the sealing ring 430, and the bushing 420 will drive the ball valve 440 backward and complete the sealing under the action of the liner 230. During the rearward movement of the bushing 420 by the liner 230, the return spring 500 is compressed to impart a pre-loaded spring force to facilitate opening of the sealing mechanism 400 during the next actuation. It will be appreciated that the spring force of the extension spring 250 is configured to be greater than the return spring 500 at all times during operation to achieve proper functioning of the actuation mechanism 200. It will also be appreciated that the interaction between the sealing mechanism, the actuating mechanism and the response delay mechanism can be designed relatively flexibly, as long as the opening and closing of the sealing mechanism is not interfered with the extension and retraction of the pen tip, for example, the unidirectional linkage between the liner of the sealing mechanism and the liner of the actuating mechanism can be adjusted within a certain range as required to change the interval between the closing of the sealing mechanism and the retraction of the pen tip.
