8. A headgear system comprising the headgear of claim 3 and a hood (300), the hood (300) being mounted over the blower assembly (200) and being removably connected to the support plate (400).
9. A respiratory wear system comprising a headgear system according to claim 7 or 8.

The system of claim 9, further comprising a breathing apparatus (700) and a protective suit (710) connected to the headgear system, wherein the protective suit (710) is in a clearance fit with the hood (300), the breathing apparatus (700) comprises a duct (701) and a blower, one end of the duct (701) is connected to the inlet (220) and the other end is connected to the blower, and the blower is capable of blowing fresh air into the hood (300) through the duct (701) and maintaining a positive pressure in the hood (300).
