The fry basket assembly of claim 3 wherein the base is provided as a telescoping base comprising a telescoping section having an extended state in which the volume of the base is increased and a retracted state in which the volume of the base is decreased, the base being in a closed state in both the extended state and the retracted state; and/or
The base is a foldable base and comprises a first part and a second part which are movably connected and have different sizes, the volume of the first part is smaller than that of the second part, the base is provided with an unfolded state and a folded state, in the folded state, the first part is hidden in the second part, the volume of the base is reduced, in the unfolded state, the second part is located outside the second part, the volume of the base is increased, and the base is in a closed state in the folded state and the unfolded state.

8. The fry basket assembly of claim 6 wherein the fry basket is provided as a single tier fry basket having a single tier of stowage space or the fry basket is provided as a multiple tier fry basket having multiple tiers of stowage space.
9. The fry basket assembly of claim 6 wherein one end of the support bracket is pivotally connected to the fry basket frame and the other end of the support bracket is free to allow the support bracket to be flipped relative to the fry basket frame.
10. The fry basket assembly of claim 6 wherein the fry basket frame comprises a plurality of metal rods which are crosswise and welded together, and any two metal rods which are parallel and adjacent are spaced apart.
11. The fry basket assembly of claim 6 wherein at least one of the length, width and height of the fry basket is adjustable.
12. A fry basket assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 5 and 7 to 11 comprising a fry basket lid connected to and concealed from the top of the fry basket.
13. The fry basket assembly of claim 12 wherein the fry basket lid is movably disposed atop the fry basket.
14. The fry basket assembly of claim 13 wherein one end of the fry basket lid is rotatably connected to the fry basket and the other end of the fry basket lid is free, the fry basket lid being supported by its own weight and concealed from the top of the fry basket.
15. The fry basket assembly of claim 13 wherein one end of the fry basket lid is rotatably connected to the fry basket and the other end of the fry basket lid is a free end, the fry basket assembly further comprising a mass fixedly disposed at the free end.
