In one embodiment, the back plate 320 is fixedly coupled to the back plate 310 by back plate screws 3233 when installed. In one embodiment, the rear cover plate 320 and the rear plate 310 may be fixed as one integral component in a combined state.
In one embodiment, when a user installs the lock 100 on the door 10, the user removes the front panel assembly 200, inserts the guide 2123 into the lock installation hole 13 from the front or front 11 of the door 10, then puts the lock body 500 into the space defined by the guide 2123 and the lock installation hole 13 from the side hole of the door 10, and connects the signal line to the screen 230 through the signal line hole 2222 on the front panel assembly 200, and then installs the rear panel assembly 300 as a whole into the lock installation hole 13 from the back of the door, so that the threaded end of the connecting member 400 is connected to the corresponding hole on the front panel assembly 200 through the lock installation hole 13, and screws the threads tightly, thereby fixedly connecting the front panel assembly 200 and the rear panel assembly 300.
In some embodiments, when a user installs the latch to the door, the user removes the front panel assembly 200 and inserts the positioning portion 23 into the latch installation hole 13 from the front or front of the door 10. The lock body 500 is then placed in the space defined by the position fixing part 23 and the lock body installation hole 13, and a signal line is connected to the screen 230 through the signal line hole on the front panel assembly. The rear cover plate 320 is then coupled to the front panel assembly 200 through the rear fixing hole 3231 thereof by the coupling member 400. For example, to the front fixing hole 2221 provided on the front cover plate 220, and then screwed. Then, the rear panel 310 and the rear cover panel 320 are fixedly coupled by the screws 3233. Accordingly, the front panel assembly 200 and the rear panel assembly 300 are fixedly coupled to each other.
In a fire situation, smoke cannot pass through the latch installation hole 13 of the door 10 since the front panel assembly 200 and the rear panel assembly 300 are fixedly coupled to each other and at least one of the front panel assembly 200 and the rear panel assembly 300 completely covers the latch installation hole 13. Even in the case where the screen 230 and the main portion 2120 of the front panel 210 are burned to be melted, since the front cover 220 and/or the rear cover 320 are or include high temperature resistant materials, the front cover 220 can resist high temperature without melting, the front cover 220 is in the blocking state as shown in fig. 3, and further the rear cover 320 on the rear surface 12 is engaged, the whole lock mounting hole 13 can block smoke from entering the opposite side of the door or the room through the lock mounting hole 13, and safety and fire protection are greatly improved. Moreover, the whole lockset has a very simple integral structure, so that the lockset is quick and easy to install and has outstanding advantages.
The methods provided by the example embodiments in this specification are by way of example only, and the examples of one method are not intended to limit the examples of another method. The apparatus/methods discussed in one figure may be added to or exchanged with the apparatus/methods in other figures. Moreover, specific numeric data values (e.g., specific numbers, quantities, categories, etc.) or other specific information are used only to discuss the example embodiments and are not used to limit the example embodiments to such specific information.
For example, the connector secures the front and back panel assemblies to each other through the lock mounting hole, but may also secure the two through an additional separate aperture in the door. For example, the front panel assembly and the back panel assembly are fixedly connected to each other by screws and threaded holes, but may be fixed in other manners, including welding, clamping, adhesive connection, and the like.
For example, the structure and arrangement of the lock body and the lock tongue are shown in the examples, but the lock body and the lock tongue with various specific structures and starting modes in the field can also be applied to the lock, and other structures and arrangements in the prior art are not excluded.
