The brake pedal 10 is typically mounted to the vehicle 100, and when the brake pedal 10 is depressed, the braking system provides braking force to the vehicle 100. The following describes the brake pedal 10 and the vehicle 100 having the brake pedal 10 according to the embodiment of the present invention in detail with reference to fig. 1 to 12 by mounting the brake pedal 10 on the vehicle 100.
Referring to fig. 1 to 5, a brake pedal 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention may include: bracket 1, pedal arm 2, switch trigger piece 4 and pedal face 5.
In some embodiments, the bracket 1 is provided with a switch installation position, the switch is suitable for being installed at the switch installation position, and the switch can be a switch of a brake lamp and is used for controlling the brake lamp to be turned on or turned off. In a specific embodiment, referring to fig. 3 and 5, a base mounting hole 16 is formed on the bracket 1, the switch base 6 is mounted at the base mounting hole 16, a switch mounting position is formed on the switch base 6, and the switch is mounted at the switch mounting position.
Referring to fig. 1 to 5, the pedal arm 2 has a rotation shaft 3 at an upper end thereof, and the rotation shaft 3 is hinged to the bracket 1. Specifically, a mounting space for accommodating the rotation shaft 3 is formed in the bracket 1, the rotation shaft 3 is located in the mounting space, and both ends of the rotation shaft 3 are supported by the wall surface support holes 17 of the mounting space, the rotation shaft 3 is swingable with respect to the bracket 1, and the rotation shaft 3 is fixed to the pedal arm 2, so that the pedal arm 2 is swingable with respect to the bracket 1, for example, the pedal arm 2 is swingable in the M-N direction shown in fig. 4.
Referring to fig. 1 to 5, a switch trigger piece 4 is disposed on the pedal arm 2, the switch trigger piece 4 may include a trigger piece body 41 and a fixed support arm, the trigger piece body 41 is sleeved on the pedal arm 2, and the trigger piece body 41 is adapted to be close to or far away from a switch installation position along with the pedal arm 2. Specifically, when the pedal arm 2 swings, the trigger piece body 41 is adapted to swing in synchronization with the pedal arm 2. When the lower end of the pedal arm 2 swings towards the direction far away from the bracket 1, namely, swings towards the direction M, the trigger piece body 41 swings synchronously along with the pedal arm 2, so that the trigger piece body 41 is far away from the switch installation position, and when the trigger piece body 41 is not in contact with the switch, the switch is turned off, and the brake lamp is turned off. When the lower end of the pedal arm 2 swings towards the direction of the bracket 1 (i.e. when the brake pedal 10 is stepped on), i.e. swings towards the direction N, the trigger piece body 41 swings synchronously with the pedal arm 2, so that the trigger piece body 41 is close to the switch mounting position, when the trigger piece body 41 contacts with the switch, the switch is turned on, the brake lamp is turned on, so as to play a warning role for surrounding vehicles 100 and pedestrians, and the driving safety of the vehicle 100 is improved. In the example of fig. 4, when the pedal arm 2 is located at the solid line position, the brake pedal 10 is in the non-braking state; when the pedal arm 2 is located at the broken line position, the brake pedal 10 is in a braking state.
Referring to fig. 1 to 6, the fixed arm is connected to the trigger body 41, and the fixed arm is further welded to the rotating shaft 3 and/or the pedal arm 2, that is, in some embodiments, the fixed arm is only welded to the rotating shaft 3; in other embodiments, the fixed arm is only welded to the pedal arm 2; in other embodiments, the fixed arm is welded to both the rotating shaft 3 and the pedal arm 2. The fixed support arm can play a role in enhancing the strength and rigidity of the pedal arm 2, so that the pipe diameter or the cross section size or the length size of the pedal arm 2 can be designed to be smaller, thereby being beneficial to reducing the weight of the pedal arm 2 and further being beneficial to reducing the weight of the brake pedal 10.
Switch trigger piece 4 possesses switch trigger and pedal arm 2 simultaneously and strengthens the function, and switch trigger piece 4 and pivot 3 and/or pedal arm 2 welded fastening realize the increase by a wide margin of pedal arm 2 intensity and rigidity with less weight increase.
Referring to fig. 1 to 5, the lower end of the pedal arm 2 is connected to the pedal surface 5. When the driver steps on the pedal surface 5, the pedal arm 2 swings in the direction of the bracket 1 with the rotation shaft 3 as a swing center, that is, in the N direction, which is also in the front direction of the vehicle.
The bracket 1 is provided with a bracket mounting hole 14, and taking the body of the vehicle 100 as an example, a fastener such as a bolt is inserted into the bracket mounting hole 14 and then fastened to the body, thereby realizing the mounting of the brake pedal 10 on the vehicle 100.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 1-2 in combination, the surface of the bracket 1 facing the vehicle body is further provided with a gasket 15 to reduce wear of the bracket 1 on the vehicle body. The washers 15 may be provided only at the corresponding bracket mounting holes 14, which may also alleviate the stress concentration phenomenon at the bracket mounting holes 14.
