目前，洗衣机已进入现代家庭，它对减轻人们的体力劳动起到了一定的作用。但是，美中不足的是不管那种洗衣机都没有象人工用手在搓衣板上搓揉刷洗那样干净，特别是比较厚或脏的衣物，就更难洗干净。
本实用新型的目的克服了洗衣机洗不净衣物的缺点，而专门设计的一种洗衣助洗球。该洗衣球使用的结果能够达到同手在搓衣板上搓揉刷洗的相同效果，在洗衣机使用时加入洗衣球，能节电、节水、省时，同时绝不损坏衣物。
本实用新型所用的材料是复合塑料制成的软性抗震球。球体直径为37毫米，球上开有八个缺口，球体表面有均匀的波纹。使用时每十个一组，同衣物一同在洗衣机里搅动，从而达到其目的。

将洗衣机洗衣桶内装上规定重量以下的衣物、装上水和洗涤剂，再把十个一组的洗衣助洗球丢在洗衣桶内、接上电源、预定好定时器的时间，连同衣物一起搅拌，由于波轮的反复旋转和助洗器与衣物的撞击、摩擦，从而达到洗净的目的。
