Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below do not represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
To solve the above technical problem, the present disclosure provides an illuminated decorative ring 100, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, which are a perspective view and an exploded view of the illuminated decorative ring 100, respectively.
The illuminated decorative ring 100 includes a housing 10, a light emitter 20, and a cover 30.
The housing 10 may be an integrally formed housing 10, or may be formed by assembling or assembling a plurality of sub-housings, which is not limited herein. The housing 10 is provided with an accommodation space 11 and a light-escape groove 12. The receiving space 11 is used to receive the light 20 and other structures. In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 4 and 5, the cover 30 is provided with a locking protrusion 31, and the locking protrusion 31 can be disposed on two sides of the cover 30 along a first direction a, wherein the first direction a is an extending direction of a central axis of the illuminating decoration ring 100.
It should be noted that the snap projections 31 may be disposed at any position of the contour of the cover 30, and are not limited to the positions listed in the present embodiment, for example, the snap projections 31 may also be disposed above and below as shown in fig. 5.
As shown in fig. 3, a locking groove 121 is provided in the housing 10 at a position corresponding to the locking projection 31 at the light release groove 12. The card slot 121 may allow the card protrusion 31 to enter and exit the card slot 121 in the second direction B. The second direction B is a radial direction of the illuminated decorative ring 100 and is perpendicular to the first direction a. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the locking protrusion 31 can elastically deform along the first direction a, and the locking protrusion 31 enters and exits the locking groove 121 along the second direction B, so as to realize the locking of the cover 30 and the housing 10.
Further, the housing 10 is further provided with a light shielding plate 32, the light shielding plate 32 is disposed on a side of the locking protrusion 31 away from the light emitter 20, and extends along the first direction a coinciding with the central axis of the illumination decoration ring 100, and after the cover 30 is mounted on the light leakage groove 12, the light shielding plate 32 covers the locking groove 121.
Through setting up light screen 32, can avoid light to be revealed by draw-in groove 121, make luminous body 20's light through lid 30 back, can send according to predetermined position, predetermined pattern or colour to improve holistic luminous performance, light effect and user experience.
In addition, the shutter plate 32 is small and lightweight, and therefore does not occupy much space and weight in the radial or axial direction. The light screen 32 has a simple structure and a simple production process, so the manufacturing cost is low.
In some embodiments, the cover 30 is provided with a light-transmitting portion 33, and the light-transmitting portion 33 can transmit light of the light emitter 20. The light-transmitting portion 33 may be any shape or color, and the light-transmitting portion 33 may be provided in plural to form a predetermined light-emitting pattern, which is not illustrated herein.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the light-transmitting portion 33 is elongated and extends along the length direction of the cover 30 (or extends along the circumferential direction of the illumination decoration ring 100), and the light-emitting body 20 is located inside the housing 10 and aligned with the light-transmitting portion 33, so that the light emitted by the light-emitting body 20 can be maximally emitted from the light-transmitting portion 33, which not only saves energy, but also prevents light from leaking through other gaps, thereby affecting the light-emitting performance and appearance.
In some embodiments, the housing 10 includes a first housing 13 and a second housing 14 that are detachably connected, and the light 20 is fixed to the first housing 13. When the illuminated bezel 100 is applied to a steering wheel, the illuminated bezel 100 may have a circular ring shape, and the first housing 13 and the second housing 14 may have a semi-circular arc plate shape, and the housing 10 having a circular cross section is assembled in the second direction B.
In other embodiments, the radial cross section of the lighting device ring may be square, triangular, wavy circular ring type or any shape, and thus, the radial cross section of the first and second housings 13 and 14 may be any shape designed according to design requirements, which are not illustrated in detail herein.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the first casing 13 has a flat plate shape, and the second casing 14 has an arc plate shape. The second housing 14 is fastened above the first housing 13 to form a semicircular arc-shaped accommodating space 11, and the light emitter 20 is fixed above the first housing 13, wherein the upper side is the upper side shown in fig. 1 and 2. In practical applications, the second housing 14 may be connected to the first housing 13 along the front, the rear and the lower direction, and is not limited in particular.
In some embodiments, the end surfaces 131 at both ends of the first housing 13 are flush with the end surfaces 141 at both ends of the second housing 14 along the first direction a. The end surfaces 131 of the two ends of the first shell 13 are flush with the end surfaces 141 of the two ends of the second shell 14, so that the assembly and the appearance are convenient.
In addition, radial stoppers may be disposed at two ends of the first housing 13 and/or two ends of the second housing 14, so that the accommodating space 11 forms a relatively closed environment to prevent the entry of external dust, moisture and particles.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, no stopper is provided at both ends of the first housing 13 and both ends of the second housing 14, and thus the accommodating space 11 formed by the first housing 13 and the second housing 14 is penetrated in the central axis direction of the illumination trim ring 100.
In some embodiments, the illuminated bezel 100 further includes a base 40, the base 40 including a mounting recess 41, the housing 10 being removably secured within the mounting recess 41. When the lighting device ring is applied to a steering wheel, the housing 10 is mounted in the mounting groove 41 of the base 40, and the base 40 may function to support and fix the housing 10.
The base 40 may be an integral part of the steering wheel, i.e. the base 40 is annular. According to the preset position, a mounting groove 41 is provided for mounting the housing 10. The mounting groove 41 may match the shape of the housing 10. The mounting grooves 41 may be mounting grooves 41 with inner walls all around, or may also penetrate the mounting grooves 41 of the base 40 in the radial direction.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, since the housing 10 has a semicircular structure as a whole, the mounting groove 41 has a semicircular structure, and the mounting groove 41 in the embodiment is penetrated in the radial direction, i.e., the mounting groove 41 is provided with two inner walls 411 only in the first direction a.
After the casing 10 is installed in the installation groove 41, along the first direction a, the two inner walls 411 of the installation groove 41 are respectively abutted to the two ends of the casing 10, so as to close the accommodating space 11, thereby saving the material, cost and weight, and facilitating the disassembly for checking the parts inside the casing 10.
After the housing 10 is mounted in the mounting groove 41, the housing may be fixed on the base 40 by fasteners 50 (which may be fastening screws or bolts) passing through the second housing 14 and the first housing 13 in sequence along the second direction B, and the number and positions of the fasteners 50 are not specifically limited herein and may be set according to actual conditions.
In addition, for the aesthetic appearance of the illuminated garnish, the housing 10 may be provided with a fastener cover 51 at the position of the fastener 50, and after the fastener 50 is fastened, the fastener cover 51 is covered on the housing 10 and flush with the housing 10.
Further, along the circumference of the housing 10, the outer surface of the housing 10 is flush with the outer surface of the base 40. That is, when the housing 10 is installed, the outer surface of the housing 10 is flush with the outer surface of the base 40, and the illuminated bezel 100 is circular in radial cross section. In other embodiments, after the housing 10 and the base 40 are assembled, the lighting decoration ring 100 has a square, triangular or other arbitrary shape in radial section, which is not limited in detail herein.
Further, the base 40 includes a frame 42 and a foam 43, the foam 43 is wrapped outside the frame 42, and the frame 42 plays a supporting role.

In some embodiments, the central axis of the illuminated decorative ring 100 is one or a combination of arc, wave, linear, and polygonal. That is, when the illuminated decorative ring 100 is not in a circular shape, it may be in any other shape, and the illuminated decorative ring 100 is not only applied to the steering wheel, but also applied to any other place as a decorative member.

1. An illuminated trim ring (100), comprising:
a housing (10) provided with an accommodation space (11) and a light leakage groove (12), the light leakage groove (12) communicating the accommodation space (11) with the outside of the housing (10);
the luminous body (20) is positioned in the accommodating space (11) and corresponds to the position of the light leakage groove (12); and
a cover body (30) which covers the light leakage groove (12) and enables the light of the luminous body (20) to be transmitted out,
wherein, the cover body (30) is provided with a clamping convex (31) and a light shading plate (32), the light shading plate (32) is arranged on one side of the clamping convex (31) far away from the luminous body (20) and extends along a first direction (A) coincident with the central axis of the illumination decoration ring (100), the shell (10) is provided with a clamping groove at the light leakage groove (12),
