The self sealing tire repair assembly as claimed in claim 2, wherein the main body portion includes a top surface and a bottom surface connected, the top surface for contacting a self sealing adhesive on a wound perimeter of the self sealing tire, the sealant layer being disposed on the top surface.
4. A self-sealing tire repair assembly as claimed in claim 2, wherein said body portion has dimensions matching the dimensions of said wound of said self-sealing tire.
5. A self sealing tire repair assembly as claimed in claim 2 wherein said body portion has a thickness of 3 mm or more and 4 mm or less.
6. A self sealing tire repair assembly as claimed in claim 1 wherein said sealant layer is sized to match the size of said body portion.
7. A self sealing tire repair assembly as claimed in claim 1 further comprising a protective layer removably disposed on said sealant layer.
8. A self sealing tire repair assembly as claimed in claim 7 wherein said protective layer is of a size greater than or equal to the size of said sealant layer.
9. A self sealing tire repair assembly as claimed in claim 7 wherein said protective layer is non-tacky.
