s70: further inserting the two terminals 1 by moving the moving seat 202 until the root portions of the two terminals 1 are inserted into the housing 20;
s80: after the root portions of the two terminals 1 are inserted into the housing 20, stopping moving the seat 202 and opening the core wire holding devices 120, 12; and
s90: the two terminals 1 are further inserted by moving the moving seat 202 until the root portions of the two core wires 10a are inserted into the housing 20.

Claims (20)

1. An insertion device for inserting a cable assembly (10, 1) into a housing (20), the cable assembly (10, 1) comprising a cable (10) and two terminals (1) crimped respectively onto two exposed cores (10a) of the cable (10), characterized in that the insertion device comprises:
cable control module (100) comprising:
terminal clamping means (110, 11) for clamping two terminals (1); and
core wire clamping means (120, 12) for clamping two core wires (10 a); and a housing control module (200) comprising:
housing holding means (210, 21) for holding the housing (20) during insertion of the two terminals (1) into the housing (20),
in the process of inserting the portions of the two terminals (1) other than the root portions thereof into the housing (20), the terminal holding means (110, 11) are held on the root portions of the two terminals (1) and the core wire holding means (120, 12) are in an open state not holding the two core wires (10a),
in the process of inserting the root portions of the two terminals (1) into the housing (20), the terminal holding devices (110, 11) are in an open state not holding the two terminals (1) and the core wire holding devices (120, 12) hold the root portions of the two core wires (10 a).
2. The plugging apparatus of claim 1, wherein:
the housing control module (200) further comprises a moving seat (202), the moving seat (202) being movable relative to the terminal (1) in a longitudinal direction of the terminal (1); and is
The housing holding means (210, 21) are mounted on the mobile seat (202) so as to be able to insert the two terminals (1) into the housing (20) by driving the mobile seat (202).
3. The cartridge device according to claim 2, characterized in that the housing clamping means (210, 21) comprise:
a housing clamp (210) mounted on the moving seat (202) and capable of opening and closing to clamp or unclamp the housing (20); and
a housing clamp driver (21) mounted to the moving seat (202) for driving the housing clamp (210) to open and close.
4. The plugging apparatus of claim 3, wherein:
the housing clamp (210) comprises:
a base (211) fixed on the movable base (202) and having a positioning groove for positioning the housing (20);
a clamp arm (212) rotatably connected to the base (211) and openable and closable relative to the base (211) to clamp or unclamp the housing (20); and
a connecting arm (213) rotatably connected to the clamp arm (212),
the housing clamp actuator (21) comprises an air cylinder, the cylinder body (21a) of which is rotatably connected to the moving seat (202), and the telescopic rod (21b) of which is connected to the connecting arm (213).
5. The plugging apparatus of claim 2, wherein:
the housing control module (200) further comprises guide means (220, 22), said guide means (220, 22) being mounted on said mobile seat (202) for guiding the insertion of the front ends of the two terminals (1) into the housing (20).
6. The plugging apparatus of claim 5, wherein:
the guiding means (220, 22) comprises:
a guide (220) including a pair of openable and closable guide halves (220 a); and
a guide driver (22) for driving the pair of guide halves (220a) to open and close,
semi-tapered guide holes are formed in the pair of guide half bodies (220a), and tapered guide holes (221) for guiding the two terminals (1) to be inserted into the housing (20) are formed when the pair of guide half bodies (220a) are closed.
7. The plugging apparatus of claim 6, wherein:
two half-cone-shaped guide holes arranged side by side are formed in the guide half bodies (220a), and the pair of guide half bodies (220a) combine to form two cone-shaped guide holes (221) arranged side by side when closed so as to guide the two terminals (1) to be inserted into the two terminal insertion grooves (20a) on the housing (20).
8. The plugging apparatus of claim 6, wherein:
in the process of inserting the front ends of the two terminals (1) into the housing (20), the pair of guide half bodies (220a) are closed to form a tapered guide hole (221) for guiding the two terminals (1) to be inserted into the housing (20) in combination;
when the front ends of the two terminals (1) have been inserted into the housing (20), the pair of guide half bodies (220a) are opened so as not to hinder the portions of the two terminals (1) other than the front ends from continuing to be inserted into the housing (20).
9. The plugging apparatus of claim 2, wherein:
the housing control module (200) further comprises:
the fixed seat (201), the said movable seat (202) is installed on the said fixed seat (201) movably; and
and the movable seat driver (23) is arranged on the fixed seat (201) and is used for driving the movable seat (202) to move along the longitudinal direction of the terminal (1).
10. The plugging apparatus of claim 9, wherein:
the mobile seat actuator (23) comprises:
the servo motor (231) is arranged on the fixed seat (201); and
a transmission mechanism (232, 233) connected between the output shaft of the servo motor (231) and the moving seat (202),
the transmission mechanisms (232, 233) are used for converting the rotation of the output shaft of the servo motor (231) into the linear movement of the movable base (202).
11. The cartridge arrangement according to claim 10, characterized in that the transmission mechanism (232, 233) comprises:
the screw transmission mechanism (233) comprises a screw and a nut in threaded connection with the screw, and the nut of the screw transmission mechanism (233) is connected to the movable base (202); and
and the belt wheel transmission mechanism (232) is connected between the output shaft of the servo motor (231) and the lead screw of the lead screw transmission mechanism (233).
12. The plugging apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the terminal clamping device (110, 11) comprises:
a terminal clamp (110) comprising two terminal clamp halves (110a, 110b) that can be opened and closed; and
a terminal clamp driver (11) for driving the two terminal clamp halves (110a, 110b) to open and close to clamp or unclamp the two terminals (1).
13. The plugging apparatus of claim 12, wherein:
two terminal positioning grooves (111b) for positioning root portions of two terminals (1) respectively are formed on one of the two terminal jig half bodies (110a, 110 b);
two terminal positioning projections (111a) for holding the root portions of two terminals (1) in two terminal positioning grooves (111b), respectively, are formed on the other of the two terminal jig half bodies (110a, 110 b).
14. The plugging apparatus of claim 12, wherein:
two terminals (1) are arranged side by side in a first direction, which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the terminals (1);
the two terminal clamp halves (110a, 110b) are opened and closed in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and a longitudinal direction of the terminal (1).
15. The insertion device according to claim 1, characterized in that the core wire clamping device (120, 12) comprises:
a core wire clamp (120) including a pair of core wire clamp half bodies (121) that can be opened and closed; and
a core wire clamp driver (12) for driving the pair of core wire clamp halves (121) to open and close to clamp or unclamp the two core wires (10 a).
16. The plugging apparatus of claim 15, wherein:
two terminals (1) are arranged side by side in a first direction, which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the terminals (1);
the pair of core clamp halves (121) opens and closes in the first direction.
17. The plugging apparatus of claim 16, wherein:
the two exposed core wires (10a) of the cable (10) are arranged side by side in the first direction;
the pair of core wire clamp half bodies (121) clamp the two core wires (10a) in the first direction in a process of inserting root portions of the two terminals (1) into the housing (20).
18. The plugging apparatus of claim 1, wherein:
the cable control module (100) further comprises a cable support frame (101), and a cable positioning groove (101a) for positioning and supporting the cable (10) is formed on the cable support frame (101).
19. The plugging apparatus of claim 18, wherein:
the cable control module (100) further comprises a frame to which the terminal holding devices (110, 11), the core holding devices (120, 12) and the cable support bracket (101) are mounted.
20. The plugging apparatus of any one of claims 1-19, wherein:
after the root portions of the two terminals (1) are inserted into the housing (20), the core clamping devices (120, 12) are opened to allow further insertion of the two terminals (1) until the root portions of the two cores (10a) enter the housing (20).
