Detailed Description
For a sufficient understanding of the present invention, the present invention will now be described in further detail by referring to the following specific embodiments in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. The objects, features and effects of the present invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art from the disclosure of the present specification. It is to be noted that the present invention may be implemented or applied in other specific embodiments, and various modifications and changes may be made in the details of the present description based on different viewpoints and applications without departing from the spirit of the present invention. The following embodiments will further explain the related art of the present invention in detail, but the disclosure is not intended to limit the scope of the claims of the present invention. The description is as follows:
as shown in fig. 1 to 2, a connector 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: the connector includes a housing 1, a plurality of signal terminals 2, a plurality of first ground terminals 3, a soldering portion 6, a plurality of second ground terminals 4, and a conductive cover 5.
The housing 1 extends in the width direction d1, and has a long direction d2 perpendicular to the width direction d 1. The first side 11 of the housing 1 is directed towards the second side 12, i.e. the long direction d 2. The housing 1 is an insulator.
The plurality of signal terminals 2 are arranged in parallel to the first side 11 of the housing 1 in the width direction d 1. The signal terminals 2 are conductive bodies and electrically contact a circuit device (for example, a circuit board, a flexible printed circuit board, a flexible flat cable, or the like) to conduct an electrical signal.
The plurality of first ground terminals 3 are arranged in parallel on the first side 11 of the housing 1 along the width direction d1, the fixed ends 31 of the first ground terminals 3 are respectively connected to the first side 11 of the housing 1, and the contact ends 32 of the first ground terminals 3 extend from the fixed ends 31 along the length direction d 2. The first ground terminal 3 is a conductive body for enhancing the grounding performance of the connector 100.
The welding part 6 is arranged on the second side 12 of the shell 1. The soldering portion 6 is a metal body suitable for soldering, and the back of the soldering portion 6 is provided with soldering feet 62 for soldering to other objects, for example, the aforementioned circuit device is intended to pass through the device electrically connected to the connector 100 of the present invention, which may be a computer motherboard, a circuit board, etc.
The plurality of second ground terminals 4 are arranged in parallel to the soldering portion 6 in the width direction d 1. The second ground terminal 4 is also an electrical conductor to enhance the grounding performance of the connector 100.
The conductive cover 5 is rotatably pivoted to the housing 1 and opposite to the first ground terminals 3, and the conductive cover 5 is a conductive body for enhancing the grounding performance of the connector 100.
The conductive cover 5, the signal terminal 2, the first ground terminal 3, and the second ground terminal 4 are sandwiched to form a sandwiched space S for accommodating the circuit device. An external circuit device is inserted into the clamping space S from an external opening (e.g., the left side of fig. 2) of the clamping space S to contact the conductive cover 5, the signal terminal 2, the first ground terminal 3, and the second ground terminal 4. The soldering portion 6 has a plurality of ground supporting portions 61 facing the contact ends 32 of the plurality of first ground terminals 3. The grounding supports 61 push the contact ends 32 toward the clamping space S respectively to ensure that the circuit device can contact the first grounding terminal 3 without fail.
To sum up, the utility model discloses a connector 100 has multiple ground connection design, and then ensures connector 100's ground connection ability.
Further, in the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 to 2, the second ground terminal 4 is an elastic sheet disposed on the front surface (facing the clamping space S) of the welding portion 6. The present invention is not limited to this, and the second ground terminal 4 may have other forms.
Further, in the present embodiment, the plurality of signal terminals 2 and the plurality of first ground terminals 3 are staggered. However, the present invention is not limited thereto.
