Drawings
Other features and effects of the present invention will be apparent from the embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of one embodiment of a keyboard assembly of the present invention;
FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the embodiment; and
FIGS. 3-5 are cross-sectional views taken along lines III-III, IV-IV, and V-V, respectively, of FIG. 1.
Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, an embodiment of the keyboard apparatus of the present invention includes a base plate 1, a circuit unit 2, a light emitting unit 3, a supporting unit 4, a key cap 5, and an elastic member 6.
The base plate 1 has a plate body 11 and a plurality of engaging portions 12 extending from the plate body 11 to the key top 5 and fixing the supporting unit 4.
The circuit unit 2 is connected to the base plate 1 and includes a thin film circuit board 21 and a light emitting circuit board 22. The light-emitting circuit board 22 is located between the bottom board 1 and the thin film circuit board 21.
In the present embodiment, the light-emitting circuit board 22 is a flexible printed circuit board.
Because the configuration that the light-emitting circuit board 22 is located between the base plate 1 and the thin-film circuit board 21 enables the light-emitting circuit board 22 to be protected by the base plate 1 and the thin-film circuit board 21, the design of an additional protective layer can be reduced, and the effect of light weight and thinness can be achieved. In addition, in the present embodiment, the punching burr of the base plate 1 faces downward, and the light emitting circuit board 22 is disposed on the upper side of the base plate 1 (i.e., on the opposite side of the punching burr), so that the light emitting circuit board 22 is not scratched by the punching burr of the base plate 1.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment, no back adhesive is disposed between the thin film circuit board 21 and the light emitting circuit board 22, so that the thickness of the present invention can be further reduced.
The light emitting unit 3 is coupled to the light emitting circuit board 22 and is used for emitting light. In the embodiment, the light emitting unit 3 includes a plurality of light emitting elements 31, and each light emitting element 31 is a sub-millimeter light emitting diode (or called Micro light emitting diode, Micro LED), because the sub-millimeter light emitting diode has a small volume (the height of each sub-millimeter light emitting diode is not greater than 0.15 millimeter), the thickness of the utility model can be further reduced, and the effect of light weight can be achieved.
Referring to fig. 3 to 5, the supporting unit 4 is connected to the base plate 1 and includes two frame members 41 pivotally connected to each other. Each frame member 41 has two rod segments 411 spaced in the pressing direction.
It should be noted that the supporting unit 4 is a conventional scissor structure, and therefore, the pivot connection manner of the frame member 41 is conventional, and will not be described herein.
The key cap 5 is connected to the supporting unit 4, and can be pressed to drive the supporting unit 4 to move towards the bottom plate 1.
Specifically, the rod segment 411 of each frame member 41 is connected to the engaging portion 12 of the base plate 1 and the key cap 5, respectively, so that the key cap 5 is movably fixed to the base plate 1 with respect to the base plate 1. Wherein fig. 3 and 4 show one frame member 41 connecting the base plate 1 and the key cap 5, and fig. 5 shows the other frame member 41 connecting the base plate 1 and the key cap 5. It should be noted that fig. 4 and 5 respectively show that the key cap 5 is connected to the frame member 41 through two different fixing portions 51, 52, wherein in fig. 4, one fixing portion 51 has an opening perpendicular to the pressing direction of the user, and in fig. 5, the other fixing portion 52 has an opening parallel to the pressing direction.
The elastic piece 6 is arranged between the keycap 5 and the film circuit board 21, has elasticity, and supports the keycap 5 together with the supporting unit 4, and is used for transmitting the pressing acting force applied to the keycap along the pressing direction to the film circuit board, so that the film circuit board 21 transmits a pressing signal after being pressed. In addition, when the key cap 5 is not pressed, the elastic element 6 drives the key cap 5 and the supporting unit 4 connected to the key cap 5 to move away from the base plate 1. In this embodiment, the supporting unit 4 and the elastic member 6 directly act on the thin film circuit board 21.
Specifically, when the user presses the key cap 5 to press the elastic member 6, the elastic member 6 touches the thin film circuit board 21, so that the electrode contacts of the switches on the thin film circuit board 21 are in contact to form a conducting state, thereby enabling the thin film circuit board 21 to transmit the pressing signal. The technology of sending the pressing signal by pressing belongs to the prior art of the luminous keyboard, and is not the key point of the present application, and will not be described more here.
In summary, in the keyboard apparatus of the present invention, since the light-emitting circuit board 22 is disposed between the bottom plate 1 and the film circuit board 21, the light-emitting circuit board 22 is not disposed on the outermost layer, and a protective layer is not required to be disposed to prevent the light-emitting circuit board 22 from being damaged, so that the object of the present invention can be achieved.
The above description is only an example of the present invention, and the scope of the present invention should not be limited by the above description, and the present invention is also covered by the simple equivalent changes and modifications according to the claims and the content of the description of the present invention.
