Description

Personalisable trophy type decorative article
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of decorative articles, more precisely to decorative articles of the trophy type, in particular trophies given as rewards, winnings, thanks or honor in various sports or professional sectors.
The main object of the present invention is to facilitate the manufacturing and personalization of the trophy.
Background
Ornamental articles of the trophy type are very widespread and they generally comprise a base that can be placed on a support and a decorative body fixed above the base. These decorative items may be designed as a single whole; however, it is known to design such decorative items as multiple components that fit together, such that personalization of the trophy may be achieved, for example, by replacing some components with others or indicating the name of the person being awarded, the event object being awarded, or the activity associated with the award.
Examples include the disclosures of the following patent applications: CA2043805a 1; DE102012204334a 1; EP2987431a 1; GB 2548436A; US 4190691A; US2004228149a 1; WO2017150969A 1.

The main part includes two hemispheroids, and one of them hemispheroid becomes integrative with the base, and two hemispheroids can assemble and form the ball, and the surface of ball includes the pentagon cavity, every cavity allow the overlap joint with the complementary pentagon of cavity adds the piece, thereby the cover ball the surface.
However, the personalization of these types of trophies is not optimal. In addition, such trophies are sometimes not easy to manufacture.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
The object of the present invention is to devise a novel trophy substitute which facilitates the design of the various constituent elements of the decorative article and the personalization of the same.
To this end, the utility model relates to a decorative article of the trophy type, comprising a base, a decorative body and assembly means for assembling between the base and the body. According to the utility model, the body comprises at least one central piece forming two opposite outer surfaces. At least one of the two facings includes at least one protruding element that is decorative. Furthermore, the body comprises at least one ornamental insert, the shape of which is complementary to the shape of the at least one projecting element, so that said at least one insert overlaps around the at least one projecting element and covers said at least one of said two external faces. Furthermore, the nesting means ensure the fixing of at least one add-on to the at least one outer surface. Thus, by combining at least one protruding element that is decorative and at least one addition that is decorative on at least one facade, a wide variety of decorative patterns can be implemented on the facade, which patterns can be easily adapted and personalized according to the needs of the event, activity, person and/or reward.
According to an embodiment of the decorative article, the two opposite outer surfaces each comprise at least one projecting element, and the at least one additive overlaps around the at least one projecting element on each of the two outer surfaces. Decorative articles having the same two outer surfaces or two outer surfaces having different decorative patterns and/or indicia may be designed.
According to a preferred embodiment of the decorative article, the body comprises two central pieces arranged back-to-back, and each of the two central pieces comprises one of the two outer surfaces. An advantage of such an embodiment is that only parts of small thickness are available for the design of the decorative article.
Preferably, the two centerpieces each comprise an inner surface, the two inner surfaces abutting each other. A variant of the body may be provided which comprises one or more intermediate pieces complementary to the two central pieces, these intermediate pieces being sandwiched between said two central pieces. Such a variant would allow, for example, to increase the thickness of the body, while keeping the thickness small the centerpiece and the intermediate piece.
Preferably, the two inner surfaces are flat, the two centerpieces each comprising an opening through the thickness of the centerpiece. Furthermore, the body comprises a pin which can engage in the two openings of the two centerpieces so as to bring them into register and to keep them aligned with each other. However, it is possible to provide variants with two inner surfaces of different shapes, for example shapes ensuring self-positioning between the two inner surfaces and therefore between the two centerpieces, to avoid sliding between the inner surfaces of the two centerpieces.
Preferably, the two centerpieces each comprise half-assembly keys, the back-to-back positioning of the two centerpieces allowing the formation of the assembly keys. Further, the base includes a fitting hole capable of receiving a fitting key on an upper surface for fixing the body with the base. Various variants are conceivable, for example, the assembly key is realized as a single piece arranged on only one of the two central pieces; however, implementing two half-assembly keys has the advantage of reducing the thickness on each of the two centerpieces. Preferably, the assembly key and the assembly hole are designed to perform a quarter turn assembly.
Preferably, the base, the two centers and the at least one additive are realized flat by 3D printing. Although 3D printing is used, the small thickness of all components actually provides the following advantages: it is designed to be flat in a 3D printing manner while performing mass production.
According to an embodiment of the decorative article, at least one of the at least one additive has indicia on its outer surface. The marking means, for example, a letter, a drawing or a logo realized concavely or convexly on the outer surface of the add-on piece, or even realized by printing on said outer surface of the add-on piece.
According to an embodiment of the decorative article, the nesting means comprise a stud arranged on at least one outer surface of the body, outside the at least one protruding element, and a recess on an inner surface of the at least one additive, said recess being nested on said stud. Variations may be provided by interchanging studs and recesses. Other variations of the nesting means are also contemplated within the scope of the present invention.
According to an embodiment of the decorative article, at least one of the two outer surfaces of the body represents a ball or a balloon once the at least one additive has been fitted on said outer surface. For example, it may be a football, handball, football or volleyball, or a tennis or golf ball.
