The identity card acquisition instrument sends the personal information contained in the standard images on the front and back sides of the identity card, the personal information contained in the built-in chip of the identity card and the authenticity identification result of the identity card into the upper computer. The camera is used for collecting the face image of the card holder and sending the face image into the upper computer. The upper computer displays the authenticity identification result sent by the identity card acquisition instrument through the display. And when the authenticity identification result is a counterfeit certificate, giving an alarm. When the authenticity identification result is a true card, comparing a face image in personal information contained in a standard image on the front side and the back side of the identity card sent by an identity card acquisition instrument or a face image in personal information contained in a built-in chip of the identity card with a face image of a card holder sent by a camera, and when the face image of the identity card acquisition instrument is successfully matched with the face image of the camera, indicating that the card holder passes the verification and displays the face image through a display; otherwise, the cardholder fails verification and is alerted via the display.
