Description

Floor cabinet assembly kit, support element of floor cabinet assembly kit and support element kit
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a floor cabinet assembly kit, a support element for use as a component of a floor cabinet assembly kit and a kit of support elements.
Background
Floor cabinets for kitchens often comprise a cabinet body having a bottom surface and-usually four-stand elements attached to and extending from the bottom surface. Typically, the bottom surface is substantially rectangular. In most cases, the floor cabinet is located at the wall such that the floor cabinet has a front side and a rear side directed towards the wall. It is known to additionally use at the front side at least one cladding plate which is also attached to and extends from the bottom surface to the floor of the galley, so that the space between the galley floor and the bottom surface of the floor cabinet body is hidden behind the cladding plate. If the floor cabinet is placed alone or forms the end of a galley, at least one additional cladding panel is provided on the side of the floor cabinet. As an alternative, it is known not to use any cladding plate, so that the space between the galley floor and the bottom surface of the floor cabinet body can be accessed and the feet of the stand elements located in front can be seen.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
Starting from this prior art, the task of the present invention is to provide a floor cabinet assembly kit that can be used with at least one cladding panel or without any cladding panel.
This task is solved by a floor cabinet assembly kit with the features of the first aspect of the present application.
In a second aspect of the application a stand element for use in such a floor cabinet assembly kit is defined.
If at least one cladding panel is used, the outer surface of the cladding panel should be flush with the corresponding surface of the cabinet body. On the other hand, if no cladding plate is used, a better visual appearance can be provided at least in case the stand element located at the front side, in particular the feet of the stand element, are located substantially at the corners of the bottom surface of the cabinet body, but this is not compatible with the use of the above described geometry of the cladding plate. The stand element located at the front side of the cabinet body thus has at least a first mounting position in which the legs of the stand element are at a first distance from their front corners and a second mounting position; in the second mounting position, the legs of the stand-off elements are at a greater second distance from their front corners. The first distance may in particular be zero. Thus, the same carrier element can be used in both cases, i.e. both in the case of the use of at least one cladding plate and in the case of the absence of a cladding plate.
Preferred embodiments are defined in certain aspects of the present application and will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Detailed Description
Figure 1 shows all the elements of the floor cabinet assembly kit in a schematic view (except for screws etc.). The assembly kit comprises a cabinet body 10, two first seat elements 20, two second seat elements 30, a front cladding panel 40 and two side cladding panels 42. The floor cabinet body 10 is very schematically shown; of course, the floor cabinet body 10 has a drawer, a door or the like (not shown). The floor cabinet can be assembled in two ways, namely with at least one of the cladding panels 40, 42 (fig. 3) or without any of the cladding panels (fig. 2).
The floor cabinet body 10 is generally placed at a wall of a kitchen so as to have a front side 10a and a rear side. The first seating member 20 is for the left and right rear corners of the bottom surface of the cabinet body, and the second seating member 30 is for the left and right rear corners of the bottom surface of the cabinet body. The first seating element 20 and the second seating element 30 are mirror images of each other.
Fig. 4 and 5 show the first carrier element 20 in an enlarged view. It can be seen that the first seating element 20 comprises a substantially rectangular mounting plate 22 and a foot 28 extending therefrom. In the embodiment shown (and this is preferred), the foot has a rectangular cross-section, and the two sides of the foot 28 are flush with the two sides of the mounting plate 22.
Two apertures, a first aperture 24 and a second aperture 26, extend through the mounting plate 22. The first aperture 24 forms a first mount-side mounting arrangement and the second aperture defines a second mount-side mounting arrangement. Typically, the diameter of the first bore is larger than the diameter of the second bore. In the first embodiment, it is important that at least the first aperture 24 is offset from the axis A of the mounting plate1、A2At least one axis. Preferably (and as shown), the first hole 24 is relative to two axes a1、A2Are offset, which means that the first aperture has no symmetry with respect to the mounting plate. The same applies to the feet 28: the legs 28 are also asymmetrical with respect to the mounting plate 22.
For each seat element 20, 30, at least one threaded bushing 14 extends into the bottom surface 12 of the cabinet body. These threaded bushings 14 define body side mounting means for the seat member. These threaded bushings are located near the corners of bottom surface 12; in fig. 6, the area of the left front corner 13 is shown. The threaded bushing 14 coincides with the first hole 24 such that the mounting plate 22 may be threaded to the bottom surface 12 by means of a screw extending through the first hole 24 into the threaded bushing 14.
Fig. 7 shows the region shown in fig. 6, with the first abutment element 20 of fig. 5 in a first mounting position. The first hole 24 is aligned with the threaded bushing 14 and in the first mounting position the foot 28 is located at the first corner 13 such that both sides of the foot 28 are flush with both sides of the cabinet body. In this position, the first screw 50 is screwed into the threaded bushing 14 through the first hole 24, and the abutment element 20 is fixed against rotation by screwing the second screw 52 (typically a wood screw) through the second hole 26 (fig. 8). A pre-drilled hole may be provided for the second screw 52, but this is not generally necessary.
Fig. 9 shows what is shown in fig. 7, but in fig. 9 the first seating element 20 is in the second mounting position. Also here, the first hole 24 is aligned with the threaded bushing 14, but the first seat element 20 is rotated 180 degrees about the axis defined by the threaded bushing 14 relative to the first mounting position. Due to the asymmetric position of the first aperture 24 in the mounting plate 22, the first seating element 20 is moved away from the edges 12a, 12b of the bottom surface 12. Thus, in this position, the cladding panels 40, 42 may be attached to the bottom surface 12 (fig. 10). The cladding panels 40, 42 are typically connected to the legs by mounting elements not shown. Since in the embodiment shown the cladding panels that are not flush with the edge of the bottom surface 12 of the cabinet body overlap the mounting plates, it may be necessary to provide the cladding panels 40, 42 with small recesses for the mounting plates.
Due to the above symmetry, the other stand-off element also has two mounting positions, in one position the legs of the stand-off element are placed in the corners of the bottom surface, and in the other position the mounting plate is remote from the edges of the bottom surface.
Fig. 11 to 14 show a second embodiment. As in the first embodiment, the feet 28 are located at the corners of the mounting plate 22. In contrast to the first embodiment, two first holes 24, 24 'and two second holes 26, 26' extend through each mounting plate 22, and the pattern formed by these holes 24, 24 ', 26' is relative to two axes a1And A2And (4) symmetry. This has two advantages: first, the position of the second screw 52 may be the same in both mounting positions of the stand element, and second, both edges of the mounting plate 22 may be flush with both edges of the bottom surface 12 of the cabinet body in both mounting positions. This may facilitate correct alignment of the abutment element.
As in the first embodiment, the second abutment element is mirror-symmetrical to the first abutment element.
In all embodiments, it is not absolutely necessary that the seat element for the rear also has two mounting positions, but this is preferred. It is therefore sufficient to provide two types of abutment elements which are mirror images of each other. If the stand elements are sold separately from the floor cabinet body, it may therefore be useful to sell them as a kit consisting of two first stand elements and two second stand elements.
