A carton according to claim 1 wherein the second base support panel is provided with a second engaging groove, the fourth base support panel is provided with a fourth engaging groove, the first bottom sealing panel is folded to provide a first engaging groove, the third bottom sealing panel is folded to provide a third engaging groove, the second engaging groove and the fourth engaging groove are in relative communication to form the restraining groove when folded, and the first engaging groove and the third engaging groove are respectively engaged with the restraining groove.

5. The carton according to claim 1 wherein the second and fourth side panels are provided with a rebate or handle, respectively.

6. A carton according to claim 1 wherein the inner walls of the containment space are coated with a water resistant coating.

The carton according to claim 1 wherein the first side panel is provided with a latch on a side thereof remote from the second side panel, and the fourth side panel is provided with a fifth catch on a side thereof remote from the third side panel, the latch engaging the fifth catch when folded in the closed position.

8. A carton according to claim 7 wherein the latch is provided with a male tab along its length which is in folded engagement with the fifth slot.
