When the horizontal pushing type inverted U-shaped section bar clamping device is used, the horizontal pushing cylinder 6 is manually controlled to drive the inverted hook chuck piece 4 to clamp the section bar in the horizontal direction; simultaneously controlling the vertical propelling cylinder 9 to move downwards so that the propelling plate 8 clamps the section bar in the vertical direction; fixing the position of the other clamping structure; and starting the push-pull air cylinder 12, driving the push-pull box to move by the push-pull air cylinder 12, driving the clamping structure connected with the push-pull box to move by the push-pull box, and in the action process of the push-pull air cylinder 12, lengthening and straightening the section to achieve the effect of straightening the section, thereby realizing the procedure of straightening the section.
