Example 1
The water level detection device for the water tank can be applied to ironing equipment such as an iron, a garment steamer and a steam clothes nursing machine. Fig. 1 shows an iron to which a water level detecting device is applied, wherein a partial structure of a housing of an iron body 50 is omitted for convenience of illustration of a water tank and internal components thereof.
As can be seen from fig. 1, the iron includes an iron body 50 and a water level detecting means including a water storage tank 10, an air supply pump 20, an air pressure detecting unit, an identification switch 13, and a controller 60. The iron body 50 includes an ironing base plate (with a steam generator built therein), and the water storage tank 10 is disposed on the ironing base plate and can supply water to the ironing base plate through a liquid supply pump.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, a water storage tank 10 of the present embodiment includes a tank body 11 and a cover 12. The top of the tank body 11 has a filler 110, and the cover 12 can be closed on the filler 110 of the tank body 11 and removed from the filler 110. After the cover body 12 is covered after the water supplement is completed, the water outlet cavity of the water storage tank 10 is in a closed state.
The identification switch 13 is provided on the iron body 50 and is disposed adjacent to the filler port 110. The identification switch 13 of the present embodiment may employ a proximity switch structure that is in electrical signal communication with the controller 60. The identification switch 13 can be activated in a state where the lid body 12 is closed to the filler 110.
The air supply pump 20 is provided on the iron body 50 and is fixed by a mounting bracket 51. An air outlet of the air supply pump 20 is communicated with the water storage cavity 100 of the water storage tank 10 for inflating the water storage cavity 100. Specifically, the air supply pump 20 communicates with the water storage chamber 100 of the water storage tank 10 through an air pressure detecting unit in the present embodiment.
Referring to fig. 3, the air pressure detecting unit includes a pressure valve 30 and a micro switch 40. The pressure valve 30 includes a valve body 31, an elastic member 32, and a piston member 33. The valve body 31 of the pressure valve 30 is formed with a fixing frame structure for mounting the micro switch 40. Thus, the pressure valve 30 and the microswitch 40 may form one assembly.
The valve body 31 has a valve chamber 310 and an inlet 301 and an outlet 302 communicating with the valve chamber 310. The inlet 301 of the valve body 31 may communicate with the outlet 302 of the air feed pump 20 through a bellows. The air inlet 111 of the water storage tank 10 is provided at an upper region thereof with an air inlet joint at a water inlet thereof. An air outlet joint is arranged at the outlet 302 of the valve body 31 and is in inserted fit with an air inlet joint of the water storage tank 10, so that the communication with the water storage cavity 100 is realized.
The valve body 31 includes a first housing 311 and a second housing 312. The first housing 311 and the second housing 312 can be fastened together to form the valve chamber 310. The piston member 33 is disposed in the valve cavity 310 of the valve body 31, and includes a silicone sleeve 331 and a movable post 332 disposed in the valve cavity 310. The silicone sleeve 331 is a cover structure, and an outer peripheral edge portion thereof is located between the first housing 311 and the second housing 312, and can be clamped by the first housing 311 and the second housing 312. The silicone sleeve 331 is a flexible member that can deform under external pressure, and the silicone sleeve 331 divides the valve cavity 310 into a first cavity 3101 and a second cavity 3102. Wherein the second chamber 3102 is in communication with the inlet 301 and the outlet 302 of the valve body 31. The movable post 332 is disposed in the first cavity 3101. The first housing 311 has a through hole, the first end of the movable post 332 is exposed through the through hole of the first housing 311, and the second end of the movable post is abutted against the silicone sleeve 331 (specifically, the central region of the silicone sleeve 331). The second end of the movable post 332 has a step 3320 formed to protrude radially outward.
Referring to fig. 3, the elastic member 32 of the present embodiment is a spring fitted over the movable post 332. The spring is abutted between the inner wall of the first housing 311 and the step 3320 of the movable post 332. Under the action of the elastic force of the spring, the movable column 332 always has a tendency to move towards the second cavity 3102 (i.e. away from the sensing end 41 of the micro switch 40), and under the action of the movable column 332, the silicone sleeve 331 also always has a tendency to expand towards the inside of the second cavity 3102.
The microswitch 40 is disposed adjacent the first housing 311 of the valve body 31 and has a sensing end 41 opposite the first end of the movable post 332. The movable post 332 of this embodiment constitutes the trigger portion of the piston member 33. When the air supply pump 20 supplies air into the water storage cavity 100 of the water storage tank 10, the air pressure in the second cavity 3102 (which is substantially the same as the air pressure in the water storage tank 10) is gradually increased, and the silicone sleeve 331 is deformed by the air pressure in the second cavity 3102 to deflect towards the first cavity 3101, thereby pushing the movable column 332 to move towards the micro switch 40. When the pressure in the second chamber 3102 of the valve chamber 310 reaches the set value (the second preset value), the first end of the movable post 332 abuts against the sensing end 41 of the micro-switch 40, thereby causing the micro-switch 40 to be in the activated state.
The microswitch 40 and the air supply pump 20 are electrically connected to the controller 60. The micro switch 40 controls the air supply pump 20 to be turned off when triggered by the movable post 332, and controls the air supply pump 20 to be turned on when in a contact-triggered state (i.e., when the air pressure in the water storage chamber 100 is less than a first preset value). Meanwhile, the timing unit can start timing when the air supply pump 20 is started and stop timing when the air supply pump 20 is turned off, so as to acquire and record the inflation time length in the inflation process. On the other hand, the controller 60 also presets parameter information of the inflation time and the corresponding water amount in the water storage chamber 100, and the controller 60 can compare the inflation time recorded by the timer with the preset information, thereby determining the water amount in the water storage chamber 100.
More specifically, the iron body 50 is further provided with an indicator lamp 14, and the indicator lamp 14 is electrically connected to the controller 60, so as to indicate the water level state in the water storage chamber 100, so as to facilitate the user to view and identify. The indicator lights 14 may be different amounts of water indicated by different numbers of lights 14 turned on or different colors of the indicator lights 14. Of course, the indicator light 14 may be replaced by other alarm devices, such as a buzzer.
The pressure valve 30 and the micro switch 40 cooperate to form a pressure switch for controlling the opening and closing of the air supply pump 20, and the pressure switch and the air supply pump 20 can be combined to form an integrally designed standardized module, thereby simplifying the structure, reducing the cost and facilitating the assembly.
The working principle of the embodiment is as follows:
referring to fig. 5, the dc positive electrode of the PCB output of the controller 60 is connected in series with the identification switch 13 of the tank cover 12, the identification switch 13 of the tank cover 12 is connected in series with the normally open electrode of the pressure switch after coming out, the common electrode of the pressure switch comes out and is connected in series with the positive electrode of the air supply pump 20, and the negative electrode of the air supply pump 20 is connected to the dc negative electrode of the PCB. The normally open pole of the pressure switch is connected to a detection line 61 (timing unit) of the PCB. When a user uses the water storage tank 10, water is added into the water storage tank 10, the water tank cover 12 is closed, the water tank cover 12 touches the identification switch 13, the identification switch 13 is opened, at the moment, the water storage tank 10 and the valve cavity 310 of the pressure valve 30 are in a low-pressure state (smaller than a first preset value), the normally open electrode of the micro switch 40 is electrically closed with the air supply pump 20, the air supply pump 20 starts to work, meanwhile, the timing unit starts to time, air output by the air supply pump 20 enters the pressure valve 30 through a leather hose, and then is injected into the water storage cavity 100 of the water storage tank 10 through the pressure valve 30. When the pressure in the water storage tank 10 reaches the second preset value, the silica gel sleeve 331 in the pressure valve 30 will act, the movable column 332 moves, and the micro switch 40 is triggered, so that the normally closed pole of the micro switch 40 is disconnected, the normally open pole is opened, meanwhile, the circuit of the air supply pump 20 is disconnected, the air supply pump 20 stops working, the PCB detection circuit is connected, and the timing unit finishes timing. During normal use, the amount of water in the water storage tank 10 is reduced, when the amount of water is reduced to a certain degree and the air pressure is smaller than the first preset value of the pressure switch, the pressure valve 30 is restored to the initial position, the normally open pole of the pressure switch is connected, and the air supply pump 20 starts to work to inject air into the water tank until the action pressure of the micro switch 40 (i.e. the second preset value) is reached again. During each use period, when the air supply pump 20 works for the first time, the indicator lamp 14 displays the full water level due to the fact that the water amount is close to the full water state, after the air supply pump 20 is started for the second time, the timing unit of the PCB records the working time of the air supply pump 20, the processor of the PCB compares the pre-stored parameters with the pre-stored parameters and displays the corresponding water amount through the indicator lamp 14, when the water amount is lower than the lowest set value, the water amount in the water storage cavity 100 is determined, and a user is reminded of needing to add water in a flashing mode of the indicator lamp 14.
In the embodiment, the air supply pump 20 is used for inflating the water storage cavity 100, so that the water volume in the water storage cavity 100 is judged according to the inflation time of the air supply pump 20, when the water level of the water storage tank 10 is full, the air supply pump 20 only needs to work for a short time to enable the set pressure (or achieve the set current value) of the air pressure in the water storage tank 10, and when the water level in the water storage tank 10 is low, the air supply pump 20 only needs to work for a relatively long time to enable the set pressure (or achieve the set current value) of the air pressure in the water storage tank 10, the timing unit of the controller 60 starts timing when the air supply pump 20 is started and stops timing when the air supply pump 20 is closed, and the recorded time is compared with the preset information in the controller 60, so that the water volume in the water storage cavity 100 is determined. This kind is long to judge the water yield size in the water storage chamber 100 according to air feed pump 20 aerifys, can not be limited to water tank position, water tank structure, and its detection range is wider, especially, does not receive the product and uses the gesture restriction, can accurate discernment water level condition in the water tank, has effectively improved user's use and has experienced.
Example 2
This example differs from example 1 only in that: the air pressure detecting unit of the present embodiment uses an air pressure sensor, that is, the air pressure sensor replaces the pressure valve 30 and the micro switch 40 in the present embodiment to form a pressure switch. The air pressure sensor of this embodiment may be disposed on the inner wall of the water storage tank 10 or on the flow path between the air outlet of the air supply pump 20 and the water storage chamber 100. The air pressure detection unit can ensure the accuracy of air pressure detection in the water storage cavity 100, and further realize the accurate detection of the water amount in the water storage cavity 100.
Example 3
This example differs from example 1 in that: the air pressure detecting unit in embodiment 1 is replaced by a current detecting unit. The current detection unit is used for acquiring current information of the air supply pump 20 in the working process. Since the output air pressure of the air supply pump 20 is proportional to the operating current within a certain range, the air pressure variation information within the water storage chamber 100 can be reflected by the operating current variation information of the air supply pump 20.
Specifically, the current detection unit is electrically connected to the controller 60. When a user uses the water storage tank 10, water is added and the water tank cover 12 is closed, the water tank cover 12 touches the identification switch 13, the identification switch 13 is turned on, at this time, the valve cavity 310 of the water storage tank 10 is in a low-pressure state, the air supply pump 20 starts to work, and air output by the air supply pump 20 is injected into the water storage cavity 100 of the water storage tank 10 through a pipe. When the PCB detects that the operating current of the gas feed pump 20 reaches a preset value, the PCB disconnects the power of the gas feed pump 20. Because the output air pressure of the air supply pump 20 is in direct proportion to the working current in a certain range, when the water tank is full of water, the air pump only needs to work for a short time to enable the air pressure in the water tank to reach higher air pressure, and the working current of the air pump is obviously higher than the current when the air pressure is low.
The controller 60 activates the air supply pump 20 at set time intervals when the ironing appliance is in use (i.e. the steam generator of the ironing appliance is in operation and the water tank is drained). At the same time as the air supply pump 20 is started, the timer unit starts to start timing. When the current detects that the working current of the air supply pump 20 is larger than the preset current value, the air supply pump 20 is closed, meanwhile, the timing unit stops timing, the recorded duration of the air supply pump 20 is compared with the preset information in the controller 60, the water quantity in the water storage cavity 100 is determined, and the user is reminded of needing to add water in a flashing mode of the indicator lamp 14.
