本实用新型是有关于一种电连接器。
背景技术
由于多数电子装置间传输的资料量持续增加,为提供使用者更友善的使用经验,多数电子装置间传输讯号的速度随之而增加。电连接器是一种位于不同电子装置间的电子讯号沟通桥梁,因此也随着上述情形而频繁地应用于各式电子装置。
惟,在电子装置体积极小化的趋势下,电连接器的整体体积也随着被要求必须缩小而朝向微型化设计。随之而来的,即是影响电连接器封装在电路板上的结构稳定性,其容易随着电连接器使用(对接插拔)次数的增加而逐渐降低。
已知中国专利CN104901060提供了一种插座连接器,其中以遮蔽壳体包围绝缘本体的舌板,而后再以金属罩固定于遮蔽壳体的外部,且通过金属罩的支撑脚而使插座连接器支撑于电路板。然而,以插座连接器与电路板之间的连结结构而言,其实际上是由内而外的迭加形式进行组装,也就是仅能依靠绝缘本体、遮蔽壳体、金属罩与电路板相邻二者之间的结构连接能力,无法提供额外的结构强度保证,因此这种迭加形式的组装方式仍存在一定程度的分离风险。
据此,如何在上述趋势之下有效地提升电连接器配置在电路板上的结构强度,即是相关技术人员所需考虑并解决的课题。
发明内容
本实用新型提供一种电连接器,其藉由双层壳结构与交错式接脚而兼具提高电连接器的结构强度与外观完整性。
本实用新型的电连接器,包括绝缘本体、多个端子、第一壳体以及第二壳体。端子设置于绝缘本体。第一壳体套设于绝缘本体以形成接口,且接口适于对接另一电连接器。第一壳体具有邻近接口的第一接脚。第二壳体套设于第一壳体外,其中第一接脚背离绝缘本体延伸且穿出第二壳体。
优选地,上述的第一壳体还具有第二接脚,远离接口,以使第一接脚相对于接口的距离小于第二接脚相对于接口的距离。
优选地,上述的电连接器适于通过第一接脚与第二接脚固定于电路板上,且电连接器的局部悬置于电路板的凹口处。
优选地,上述的第一接脚与第二接脚共平面。
优选地,上述的第二壳体具有背对接口的缺口,第一接脚穿过缺口而伸出第二壳体外。
优选地,上述的绝缘本体呈阶梯结构而具有第一阶部与第二阶部,第二阶部高于第一阶部。上述的第一壳体呈另一阶梯结构而具有第三阶部与第四阶部,第四阶部高于第三阶部。第三阶部环绕于第一阶部,第四阶部覆盖于第二阶部。
优选地,上述的第二壳体套设于第一阶部与第三阶部外。
优选地,上述的第二壳体具有朝向第二阶部延伸的弯折,而绝缘本体还具有连接在第一阶部与第二阶部之间的连接部,以及位于连接部底面的凹陷,弯折扣持于凹陷。
优选地,上述的第一壳体还具有第二接脚,第一接脚位于第三阶部,第二接脚位于第四阶部,第一接脚与第二接脚共平面。
优选地,上述的第一壳体具有镂空部,轮廓对应于第一接脚,第二壳体遮蔽镂空部。
优选地,上述的第一壳体具有开口,第二壳体的内壁面具有卡扣凸点,卡扣凸点扣持于开口以使第一壳体与第二壳体组装在一起。
优选地,上述的第二壳体具有弯折,远离接口且经由第一壳体的缺口突出于第一壳体,以扣持于绝缘本体的凹陷。
基于上述,电连接器在绝缘本体外先行套设第一壳体而形成接口,且第一壳体具有延伸出的第一接脚,其中第一接脚邻近接口,而后再于第一壳体外套设第二壳体,以让第一接脚在背离绝缘本体延伸时一并穿出第二壳体。据此,第二壳体除了与第一壳体存在迭套关系之外,还藉由第一接脚穿出第二壳体的结构设计而能取得提高电连接器的结构强度。
进一步地说,当电连接器与另一电连接器进行插拔对接时,使用者所施加的插拔力将会同时影响绝缘本体、第一壳体与第二壳体,而位于内层的第一壳体还进一步地藉由第一接脚穿过并伸出位于外层的第二壳体,明显能因第一壳体与第二壳体形成交错式结构,亦即沿着插拔方向,电连接器的绝缘本体、第一壳体与第二壳体能产生彼此干涉的状态,以耐受且有效抵抗前述使用者所施加的插拔力。

图1与图2分别是依据本实用新型一实施例的电连接器于不同视角的示意图。请同时参考图1与图2,在本实施例中,电连接器100,例如是微型化USB电连接器,其包括绝缘本体110、多个端子120、第一壳体130以及第二壳体140。端子120例如以埋入射出手段而设置于绝缘本体110。第一壳体130套设于绝缘本体110以形成接口A1,且接口A1适于对接另一电连接器(未绘示)。第一壳体130具有邻近接口A1的第一接脚132a。第二壳体140套设于第一壳体130外,其中第一接脚132a背离绝缘本体110延伸且穿出第二壳体140。
图3与图4分别是电连接器于不同视角的爆炸图。请同时参考图3与图4并对照图1或图2,在本实施例中,第一壳体130与第二壳体140的材质皆是具有导电性的金属。其中第一壳体130还具有远离接口A1的第二接脚133a,也就是让第一接脚132相对于接口A1的距离小于第二接脚133a相对于接口A1的距离,对第一壳体130而言,第一接脚132a实质上位于接口A1与第二接脚133a之间。再者,第二壳体140具有背对接口A1的缺口141,第一壳体130的第一接脚132a穿过缺口141而伸出第二壳体140外。
详细来说,绝缘本体110呈阶梯结构而包括第一阶部111、第二阶部113与连接部112,其中第二阶部113高于第一阶部111,而连接部112连接在第一阶部111与第二阶部113之间。据此,本实施例的第一壳体130则需对应绝缘本体140而同样呈另一阶梯结构,亦即第一壳体130经以金属板件予以冲压、弯折等加工后形成阶梯结构,包括第三阶部131与第四阶部133,其中第四阶部133高于第三阶部131。在此,第二壳体130是同时从第三阶部131形成彼此背离延伸的翼部132,而第一接脚132a即是翼部132的末端弯折结构。当第一壳体130套设于绝缘本体110时,第三阶部131环绕于第一阶部111,而第四阶部133覆盖于第二阶部113,同时据以包覆地夹持住绝缘本体110。当第二壳体140组装于第一壳体130外时,第二壳体140实质上套设在第一阶部111与第三阶部131之外。再者,第一壳体130在冲压出翼部132的同时会产生位于翼部132下方的镂空部131a,其轮廓对应于第一接脚132a,而在第二壳体140套设于第三阶部131后,第二壳体140实质上遮蔽镂空部131a,以使电连接器100在外观上具备完整性。
此外,如图4所示,第一壳体130具有开口131b,位于第三阶部131,而第二壳体140的内壁面具有卡扣凸点143,藉由卡扣凸点143插入并扣持于开口131b而使第一壳体130与第二壳体140能顺利地卡扣组装在一起。在本实施例的第一壳体130中,第四阶部133从第三阶部131延伸后即呈具有四面弯折侧板的盖体,如图4所示,所述四面弯折侧板除了包括一对彼此相对的第二接脚133a之外,第四阶部133还具有后侧板133b,其与第四阶部133及第三阶部131的连接处相对,所述盖体覆盖于绝缘本体110的第二阶部113而提供夹持绝缘本体110与保护端子120的功能。
另一方面,请再参考图4并对照图2,在本实施例中,第二壳体140具有弯折142,其远离接口A1且经由第一壳体130的缺口131c突出于第一壳体130的第三阶部131,其实质上是由外而内地延伸至第一壳体130的内部空间,进而得以扣持于绝缘本体110的凹陷112a。进一步地说,所述弯折142是朝向绝缘本体110的第二阶部113延伸,而绝缘本体110的连接部112的底面具有凹陷112a,位于弯折143的延伸路径上,故而弯折143得以顺利地插置并扣持于凹陷112a,如此更进一步地提供绝缘本体110与第二壳体140之间足以抵抗前述插拔力的抵抗力与耐受程度。
图5是电连接器设置于电路板的俯视图。图6是图5的电连接器的侧视图。请同时参考图5与图6,在本实施例中,电连接器100适于通过第一接脚132a与第二接脚133a固定于电路板200,且电连接器100的局部悬置于电路板200的凹口210处而形成沉板型电连接器。据此,第一壳体130虽然呈现阶梯结构,但其位于第三阶部131的第一接脚132a与位于第四阶部133的第二接脚133a仍处于共平面的状态,以利于插置在电路板200的同一表面,而毋须改变电路板200的结构设计。
综上所述,在本实用新型的上述实施例中,电连接器在绝缘本体外先行套设第一壳体而形成接口,且第一壳体具有延伸出的第一接脚,其中第一接脚邻近接口,而后再于第一壳体外套设第二壳体,以让第一接脚在背离绝缘本体延伸时一并穿出第二壳体。据此,第二壳体除了与第一壳体存在迭套关系之外,还藉由第一接脚穿出第二壳体的结构设计而能取得提高电连接器的结构强度。当电连接器与另一电连接器进行插拔对接时,使用者所施加的插拔力将会同时影响绝缘本体、第一壳体与第二壳体,而位于内层的第一壳体还进一步地藉由第一接脚穿过并伸出位于外层的第二壳体,明显能因第一壳体与第二壳体形成交错式结构,亦即沿着插拔方向,电连接器的绝缘本体、第一壳体与第二壳体能产生彼此干涉的状态。
据此,第一壳体与第二壳体在绝缘本体外构成双层壳结构,且第一接脚进一步地与第二壳体构成电连接器的交错式接脚结构,且绝缘本体、第一壳体与第二壳体中的任意二者皆存在相互扣持或结构干涉的状态。此举将有利于加强构件之间的连结强度,而提高电连接器对于插拔对接时的耐受程度,以抵抗使用者所施加的插拔力,同时第一壳体与第二壳体也在电连接器进行讯号传输时具备提供较佳电磁屏蔽效果的能力。

Claims (12)

1.一种电连接器,其特征在于:
一绝缘本体;
多个端子,设置于所述绝缘本体;
一第一壳体,套设于所述绝缘本体以形成一接口,所述接口适于对接另一电连接器,所述第一壳体具有一第一接脚,邻近所述接口;以及
一第二壳体,套设于所述第一壳体外,其中所述第一接脚背离所述绝缘本体延伸且穿出所述第二壳体。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一壳体还具有一第二接脚,远离所述接口,以使所述第一接脚相对于所述接口的距离小于所述第二接脚相对于所述接口的距离。
3.根据权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器适于通过所述第一接脚与所述第二接脚固定于一电路板上,且所述电连接器的局部悬置于所述电路板的一凹口处。
4.根据权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一接脚与所述第二接脚共平面。
5.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第二壳体具有背对所述接口的缺口,所述第一接脚穿过所述缺口而伸出所述第二壳体外。
6.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体呈阶梯结构而具有一第一阶部与一第二阶部,所述第二阶部高于所述第一阶部,所述第一壳体呈另一阶梯结构而具有一第三阶部与一第四阶部,所述第四阶部高于所述第三阶部,所述第三阶部环绕于所述第一阶部,所述第四阶部覆盖于所述第二阶部。
7.根据权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第二壳体套设于所述第一阶部与所述第三阶部外。
8.根据权利要求7所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第二壳体具有朝向所述第二阶部延伸的一弯折,而所述绝缘本体还具有连接在所述第一阶部与所述第二阶部之间的一连接部,以及位于所述连接部底面的一凹陷,所述弯折扣持于所述凹陷。
9.根据权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一壳体还具有一第二接脚,所述第一接脚位于所述第三阶部,所述第二接脚位于所述第四阶部,所述第一接脚与所述第二接脚共平面。
10.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一壳体具有镂空部,轮廓对应于所述第一接脚,所述第二壳体遮蔽所述镂空部。
11.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一壳体具有开口,所述第二壳体的内壁面具有卡扣凸点,所述卡扣凸点扣持于所述开口以使所述第一壳体与所述第二壳体组装在一起。
12.根据权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第二壳体具有一弯折,远离所述接口且经由所述第一壳体的一缺口突出于所述第一壳体,以扣持于所述绝缘本体的一凹陷。
