The following detailed description and drawings are included to illustrate the principles of the utility model, which is not limited to the preferred embodiments described, but rather are intended to cover various embodiments of the utility model, alone or in any combination, and the scope of the utility model is defined by the claims.
In addition, spatially relative terms (such as "upper," "lower," "left," and "right," etc.) are used to describe one element's relative positional relationship with another element as illustrated in the figures. Spatially relative terms may therefore apply in other orientations than those illustrated in the figures, when used. It will be apparent that although for ease of illustration all of these spatially relative terms refer to the orientation shown in the drawings, those skilled in the art will appreciate that orientations other than those shown in the drawings may be used.
Fig. 1 shows an exploded view of a seat belt buckle according to an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 2 shows a cross-sectional view of a seat belt buckle according to an embodiment of the utility model. A seat belt buckle according to an embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 1 and 2.
As shown in fig. 1, the seatbelt buckle 10 according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a housing and a light emitting assembly, and the light emitting assembly is installed in the housing. The housing and light emitting assembly of the seatbelt buckle 10 are described in detail below.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 1, the housing includes a first housing main body 111, a second housing main body 112, and a top cover 113. The first and second housing bodies 111 and 112 serve to define an inner space of the housing in which the respective components of the light emitting assembly and the card slot assembly 120 for mating with the tongue piece are received. In the assembled seatbelt buckle 10, the top cover 113 is located at one end of the first and second case bodies 111 and 112, that is, in the case shown in fig. 1, in the state where the installation is completed, the top cover 113 will be positioned to the left end of both the first and second case bodies 111 and 112. Also, a socket for tongue insertion is provided at the top surface of the top cover 113, and when a tongue is inserted into the socket, the locked by the socket assembly 120 is locked at a predetermined position, so that a seat belt is worn to protect an occupant.
As shown in fig. 1, the light emitting assembly is configured to emit light at a first end of the seat belt buckle 10. Specifically, the light emitting assembly includes a light source 212 and a flexible light guide 211, light emitted from the light source 212 directly enters the flexible light guide 211, and at least a portion of the flexible light guide 211 is disposed in the top surface of the top cover 113, for example, a groove for receiving the flexible light guide 211 is provided in the top surface of the top cover 113, so that the flexible light guide 211 is disposed to emit light on the top surface of the top cover 211.
Therefore, in the seat belt buckle of the utility model, the light emitted by the light source of the light-emitting component enters the flexible light guide part and then is emitted by the flexible light guide part to emit light at the first end, and other light scattering elements are not required to be arranged for enabling the light to be uniform. Therefore, the luminous component in the safety belt lock and the safety belt lock provided by the utility model have the advantages of small volume, less parts and low cost.
It should be noted that the above embodiments are only examples, the seat belt buckle of the present invention is not limited thereto, and the flexible light guide may be disposed at other positions of the housing, for example, on the outer circumferential surface of the first housing near the first end, and also, the light emitting assembly can be made to emit light at the first end of the housing.
Further, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the seatbelt buckle 10 according to the embodiment of the present invention, the light emitting assembly further includes a shape retaining member 210 for the flexible light guide 211, schematically, the flexible light guide 211 is provided in an elongated shape, and both ends of the elongated flexible light guide 211 are retained in the shape retaining member 210, so that the shape of the flexible light guide 210 is retained in a substantially annular shape, and the annular flexible light guide 210 is fixed to the inside of the first housing main body 111 via the shape retaining member 210. However, this is merely an example, and in the buckle of the present invention, the light emitting assembly is not limited thereto, and the flexible light guide may be maintained in other shapes, such as a shape of a straight line, via the shape maintaining member. Also, as shown in fig. 2, the shape holder 210 is positioned in the inner space of the housing, and the light source 212 is disposed at the shape holder 210 such that light rays of the light source 212 enter the flexible light guide 211 from a cross-sectional position at an end of the flexible light guide 211. Further, a light source 212 of the light emitting assembly, which light source 212 is, for example, an LED, is arranged on the printed circuit board 213 and is connected to a power supply inside the vehicle via a wiring harness 214.
In order to fix the flexible light guide 211, as shown in fig. 3, the light emitting assembly according to the embodiment of the present invention further includes a clamping portion provided on the flexible light guide 211, the clamping portion being configured as a first protrusion 2111 having an expanded end, and a middle portion of the first protrusion 2111 being clamped in a gap between the first housing main body 111 and the top cover 113 such that the expanded end of the first protrusion 2111 is located outside the gap. The expanded end of the first protrusion 2111 is located outside the gap and the middle thin section is located inside the gap to ensure that the flexible light guide 211 cannot fall off from the first housing body 111 and the top cover 113, reliably fixing the flexible light guide 211 to the housing. Of course, this is merely an example, and the clamp portion may also adopt other structures capable of holding the flexible light guide on the housing, for example, the clamp portion is provided as a glue layer to bond the flexible light guide on the housing.
In order to fix the top cover 113, as shown in fig. 1 and 3, a second protrusion 1131 is provided on the inner side surface of the top cover 113, and the second protrusion 1131 is inserted into the hole of the first case body 111 to fix the top cover 113 to the first case body 111. It is to be understood that the snap-fit connection between the top cover 113 and the first casing body 111 is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and for example, it is also possible to provide a protrusion on the first casing body, and to provide a hole on the inner side surface of the top cover, and the snap-fit connection between the first casing body and the top cover can be similarly achieved by inserting the protrusion of the first casing body into the hole of the top cover. And, in the buckle of the safety belt of the present invention, the connection between the first housing body and the top cover is not limited to the snap connection, and a connection structure or a method capable of mounting both together may be used, for example, a screw may be further optionally used to connect the first housing body and the top cover together.
In assembling the seat belt buckle in the above example, the flexible light guide member and the shape retaining member that have been attached together may be fixed to the inside of the first housing main body via the shape retaining member. Then, the card slot assembly is fixed on the inner side of the first shell body. Next, the top cover is fixed to the first end of the first case body. Finally, the second housing body is fixed to the first housing body. Therefore, the seat belt buckle of the present invention does not need to be rotated or turned over during the above-described assembly process, and the installation process of the one-way installation is advantageous for the arrangement of an automatic production line.
As a preferred embodiment, the flexible light guide includes an inner layer formed of polymethyl methacrylate and an outer layer formed of polyvinylidene fluoride, and light of the light source 212 enters the inner layer of the flexible light guide 211 from a cross-sectional position at an end of the flexible light guide 211 and exits from the outer layer.
It should be noted that, for the flexible light guide in the above preferred embodiment of the present invention, the light from the light source can be transmitted at most 2 meters through the inner layer of the flexible light guide after entering the inner layer, which is enough to ensure that the flexible light guide in the present invention meets the requirements of the light emitting assembly in terms of light emitting shape and light emitting effect. One of the advantages is that the light source can be disposed inside the housing at a position farther from the first end, i.e., the light source has to be disposed inside the housing at a position closer to the first end without considering the loss of light due to the longer optical path, and therefore, the disposition position of the light source and the printed circuit board inside the housing is not limited. The flexible light guide part can be freely designed without considering the light loss caused by long light path, for example, the flexible light guide part can be designed into a ring formed by a plurality of arc sections.
Moreover, by providing the cross section of the flexible light guide in different shapes, the light emitting assembly can be made to emit light at different sides or at different positions of the flexible light guide. For example, in the buckle of the seat belt shown in fig. 1, the flexible light guide 211 may be made to emit light at the left top surface thereof and not at the right bottom surface thereof by setting the shape of the cross section of the flexible light guide.
As described above, although the exemplary embodiments of the present invention have been described in the description with reference to the drawings, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and the scope of the present invention should be defined by the claims and their equivalents.
