Hereinafter, a quick release connecting mechanism 1 according to an embodiment of the utility model will be described with reference to fig. 1 to 3. Fig. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a cap assembly 11 and a base assembly 12 of a quick release connecting mechanism 1 according to an embodiment of the utility model after being disassembled. Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing the quick release connecting mechanism 1 according to an embodiment of the utility model after the top cover assembly 11 and the base assembly 12 are fixedly connected. Fig. 3 is an exploded perspective view showing the quick release connecting mechanism 1 according to an embodiment of the utility model.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the quick release connecting mechanism 1 according to the present embodiment mainly includes a top cover assembly 11 and a base assembly 12.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 1 to 3, one side of the top cover assembly 11 may be provided with a first connection portion 111 for fixedly connecting an external first device (not shown), and the other side of the top cover assembly 11 may be provided with a plug 113. A recess 114 is provided in a side wall of the plug 113 at a position corresponding to a through hole 123 described later. In the present embodiment, the first connection portion 111 is an externally threaded stud provided to protrude from the surface of the top cover assembly 11, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the structure of the first connection portion 111 may be appropriately set according to the specific situation of the first device to be connected.
In addition, the base assembly 12 may include a bracket 121 and a thumb screw 124. A second connection portion 129 (see fig. 12A) for fixedly connecting an external second device (not shown) is provided at one side of the bracket 121, a slot 122 (see fig. 1) into which the plug 113 is inserted is provided at the other side of the bracket 121, and a through hole 123 for engaging with the hand screw 124 is provided at a side wall of the slot 122. A screw into which the thumb screw 124 is screwed is provided inside the through hole 123. In the present embodiment, the screw thread inside the through hole 123 is an M5 screw thread, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the screw thread inside the through hole 123 may be appropriately set according to the specific situation of the thumb screw 124. In addition, in the present embodiment, the second connection portion 129 is a screw hole recessed from the surface of the bracket 121, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the second connection portion 129 may be appropriately set according to the specific situation of the second device to be connected.
When the tapping end of the hand screw 124 protrudes from the through hole 123 and is inserted into the groove 114, the bracket 121 is fixedly connected with the top cover assembly 11; when the driving end of the thumb screw 124 is removed from the recess 114, the bracket 121 is released from the cap assembly 11.
Therefore, the quick fixing connection or the quick fixing disconnection between the top cover assembly 11 and the base assembly 12 of the quick-release connecting mechanism 1 are realized by the aid of the hand screws 124, and the grooves 114 are formed to ensure that the top cover assembly 11 cannot fall off from the support 121 even if the hand screws 124 are not locked after the top cover assembly 11 is fixedly connected with the base assembly 12.
In the present embodiment, the screw for fixedly connecting the top cover assembly 11 to the bracket 121 is a thumb screw 124. By such an arrangement, the connecting or disconnecting operation can be performed more conveniently. In the present embodiment, the first device may be a device that needs to be fixed to a support device such as a tripod, and the second device may be a support device such as a tripod, and the convenience of the fixing and detaching operations can be improved by setting the top cover assembly 11 provided with the plug 113 to be connected to a relatively small first device that needs to be fixed, and setting the base assembly 12 provided with the slot 122 into which the plug 113 is inserted to be connected to a relatively large second device that is a support device. However, the utility model is not limited in this regard and the first device and the second device may be any devices that need to be fixedly coupled together.
In addition, as shown in fig. 3, in the present embodiment, the hand screw 124 is made of brass, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the hand screw 124 may be made of any suitable material. Preferably, the thumb screw 124 includes a grip portion 1241, a step portion 1242 extending from a bottom surface of the grip portion 1241, and a threaded shank 1243 extending from a bottom surface of the step portion 1242 and having an outer diameter smaller than the step portion 1242. In the present embodiment, the handle portion 1241 is a straight handle, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the grip portion 1241 may be a hexagon star type grip, a round head straight thread type grip, or the like. The through hole 123 of the holder 121 includes a threaded portion 1231 and an extended portion 1232 (see fig. 12A) in order from the insertion groove 122 side in the axial direction, a thread engaged with the screw 1243 of the thumb screw 124 is provided on the side wall of the threaded portion 1231, and the aperture of the extended portion 1232 is larger than the aperture of the threaded portion 1231. Thus, a mesa is formed between the screw portion 1231 and the extension portion 1232 inside the through hole 123. In addition, as shown in fig. 3, the quick release connecting mechanism 1 of the present embodiment further includes a spacer 125 installed on the table surface between the threaded portion 1231 and the extending portion 1232, and a spring 126 sleeved on the screw 1243 of the screw 124. When the hand screw 124 is screwed into the through hole 123 until the screw 1243 is screwed into the threaded portion 1231, one end of the spring 126 abuts against the spacer 125 and the other end abuts against the step 1242 of the hand screw 124. With this arrangement, the thumb screw 124 can be prevented from being loosened after being screwed into the through hole 123. In addition, the spring 126 is preferably configured to be only clamped on the spacer 125 without friction with the side wall of the through hole 123 when the through hole 123 is compressed, thereby ensuring that the spacer 125 and the bracket 121 can smoothly rotate relative to each other even when the spring 126 is deformed, and ensuring that the hand screw 124 can be smoothly screwed in. In the present embodiment, the washer 125 is a nylon washer, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the washer 125 may be made of any suitable material as long as it can prevent the loosening of the thumb screw 124.

In the present embodiment, the first anti-slip pad 112 is a rubber ring installed in a groove on the surface of the top cover assembly 11 and surrounding the radial outside of the first connection portion 111, thereby providing a friction force to prevent the top cover assembly 11 from being released from the first device when the top cover assembly 11 is fixedly connected to the first device. The second anti-slip pad 127 is a silicone pad mounted in a groove on the surface of the bracket 121 and surrounding the radial outer side of the second connecting portion 129, thereby providing a friction force to prevent the base assembly 12 from being released from the second device when the base assembly 12 is fixedly connected to the second device. However, the position and material of the first and second anti-slip pads 112 and 127 are not limited thereto, and may be appropriately set according to the specific situation of the first and second devices to be connected.
In addition, it is preferable that a first terminal 115 for preventing the first device from being released from the cap assembly 11 is installed at a side of the cap assembly 11 connected to the first device, thereby securing a fixed connection between the cap assembly 11 and the first device. In addition, a second jack screw 128 for preventing the bracket 121 from being released from the second device is preferably installed at a side of the bracket 121 connected to the second device, thereby securing a fixed connection between the base assembly 12 and the second device. In this embodiment, two first screws 115 are symmetrically installed on both sides of the first anti-slip pad 112 through threaded holes disposed on the surface of the top cover assembly 11, so as to be used for subsequently abutting on the first device to prevent the first device from being released. Two second screws 128 are symmetrically installed at both sides of the second connecting portion 129 (see fig. 10B) through screw holes provided at the surface of the bracket 121 for subsequently abutting on the second device to prevent the base assembly 12 from being released. The first jackscrew 115 and the second jackscrew 128 both have a specification of M3 × 4. However, the number, the arrangement position, and the specification of the first and second jackscrews 115 and 128 are not limited thereto, and may be appropriately set according to the specific situation of the connected first and second devices.
