Detailed Description
The present invention will be further specifically described in the following examples with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The one-step can jug 1 comprises a jug 2, a spout 9, a first body handle 7, a pair of second body handles 8, a lid 4, a lid handle 6 and a locking device 13, 14.
Referring to fig. 1, the cannister 1 comprises a jug 2 capable of withstanding high temperatures, sufficient to contain large quantities of liquids, food, etc. The kettle 2 has an internal compartment 3 for cooking or storing contents, which has the same external contour as the kettle 2, with an opening to a spout 9.
Referring to fig. 2 and 3, the top part of the kettle 2 comprises a means for receiving a rubber gasket 5. The gasket 5 sealingly engages the inner compartment 3. The lid 4 may be threaded or may simply be a friction fit on the kettle 2. The kettle 2 is provided with a plurality of body handles 7, 8 for placing it on the heating platform and for removing it therefrom. The lid 4 includes a handle 6 attached thereto to carry the can 1 or lid 4 from place to place. The jug 2 has three body handles 7, 8 arranged around the upper part in a vertical 7 and horizontal 8 orientation to allow the user a variety of options for pouring and carrying the jug 1. Each handle 7, 8 comprises a "C" shaped profile, the two ends of which are firmly fixed in a suitable manner.
Referring to fig. 4, the upper part of the kettle 2 is sealably closed by the lid 4 and secured thereto by locking means 13, 14. When the lid 4 is to be sealingly fastened to the jug 2 so as to seal the contents in the jug 2, the lid 4 is placed on the upper part of the jug 2 and then pressed downwards until the gasket 5 sealingly engages the entire upper end of the jug 2. The lid 4 can now be screwed and locked to the kettle 2 by means of the locking means 13, 14. The locking means 13, 14 comprise a clip 13 rotatably mounted on the lid 4 for engaging and restraining a locking lug 14 attached to the kettle 2 in an upper position. The clip 13 is rotatable to resiliently press the lid 4 down on the upper end of the kettle 2. This locking not only provides a suitable engagement between the kettle 2 and the lid 4, but also restricts movement of the lid 4 relative to the kettle 2 during cooking or heating. When the lid 4 is secured on top, it compresses the gasket 5 underneath, sealing the contents therein for heating and cooking.
Referring to fig. 5, an elongated spout 9 formed in the front of the kettle 2 defines a conduit 12 which interacts with the internal compartment 3 of the kettle 2. Referring to figures 1 and 5, the spout 9 is integral and angled to allow the contents to be poured from the jug 2. The kettle 2 comprises an opening leading to a spout 9 through which the contents are regulated to flow out of the kettle 2. The spout 9 has a large diameter through which even large quantities of food and liquid can flow. The spout 9 comprises an internal conduit 12 communicating with the internal compartment 3 of the jug 2. The spout 9 includes a receiving end 11 having an opening for receiving contents from the kettle 2 and directing the contents toward the spout fitment 15 for dispensing outwardly from the kettle 2. As the spout 9 continues to extend from the receiving end 11, it curves upwardly at a desired angle to allow the contents to flow upwardly. The receiving end 11 of the spout 9 interacts with the dispensing end 10 in an inwardly extending manner to regulate the flow of the contents towards the dispensing end 10 of the spout 9. Between the dispensing end 10 and the receiving end 11 is a conduit 12 which interacts with the receiving end 11 by breaking down inwardly to regulate the flow of the contents thereon. Each spout fitment 15, 16, 17 corresponds directly to the spout 9 for receiving the contents. Thus, a flow path is formed from the receiving end 11 to the dispensing end 10 and finally to each spout fitment 15, 16, 17.
The dispensing end 10 of the spout 9 includes an inner wall defining an aperture for receiving a threaded or slotted region of the spout fitment 15, 16, 17 for securement thereto. Spout fitment 15, 16, 17 includes an outer wall 72 for receiving and engaging threaded or grooved region 17 of dispensing end 10. The threaded region 17 of the spout fitment 15, 16, 17 engages the threaded region 17 of the dispensing end 10 thereby seating the spout fitment 15, 16, 17 in the dispensing end 10 of the spout 9. The user selects the spout fitment 15, 16, 17 according to preference. The open front end of the kettle 2 interacts with the receiving end 11 of the spout 9 to regulate the flow of contents to the spout fitment 15, 16, 17.
Referring to fig. 6, 7 and 8, there is shown a front view of the spout fitment. The spout fitment 15 includes a series of holes through which steam may be discharged from the kettle 2 during cooking or heating. The spout fitment 16 is provided with an air port to improve the flow of liquid. The mesh spout fitment 17 retains solids when the cooked product is poured into the container.
The present invention describes a method by which one can cook jams, jellies and similar foods in the most efficient manner without the need for specialized training.
The method of using the device is as follows. Placing the contents into the interior compartment 3 of the jug 2; the kettle cover 4 is placed on the upper part of the kettle 2 by grasping the kettle cover handle 6; overlapping the locking lug 14 with the clip 13; the clip 13 can be rotated so that the clip 13 engages the locking lug 14; grasping one or more handles 7, 8 integrally connected to the kettle 2 and lid 4; the can jug 1 with its contents is placed on a heater. Once heating or cooking is complete, the cannister 1 with its contents is moved by the handles 7, 8 to the surface; selecting the required spout accessories 15, 16 and 17, and connecting the selected spout accessories with the dispersing end 10 of the spout 9 in a threaded manner; the can pot 1 is tilted at an angle to allow the contents to slowly flow out.
The can jug 1 is intended for cooking, filtering and eating, in order to provide convenience to the user, reducing the process of transferring hot food from the cooking pot to the filter sieve. The can 1 can be used for cooking pasta, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, creamed soup, dried beans, sauces, and the like. The can jug 1 allows heat to be retained in the pot rather than pouring hot food into a filter mesh and losing part of the heat.
The can jug 1 can be used for any cooking that requires pouring, such as jelly, jam and tomato stew. Its advantages are easy pouring out of its contents, and direct pouring of hot jelly, jam and flavouring juice in can to avoid splashing.
The above description is only for the preferred embodiment of the present invention, but the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto, and any changes or substitutions that can be easily conceived by those skilled in the art within the technical scope of the present invention are included in the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the protection scope of the present invention shall be subject to the protection scope of the claims.
