Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a power extension cord, and more particularly, to a power extension cord with a replaceable upper cover decoration.
Background
In the currently marketed extension cord, the housing is mostly a single pixel color, such as white or black, and for the consumer, although the specification meets the actual use requirement, the appearance of the extension cord is not necessarily matched with the used space. Further preferably, the socket housing has at least one DC jack penetrating through the upper surface, and the socket portion further includes at least one DC socket and an AC-to-DC power module, the at least one DC socket is respectively disposed in the socket housing corresponding to the at least one DC jack, and the AC-to-DC power module is disposed in the socket housing and connected to the at least one DC socket.

As shown in fig. 1, in the present embodiment, the socket housing 11 has an upper surface 111 and at least one AC jack 14 penetrating through the upper surface 111, and the at least one AC socket (not shown) is disposed in the socket housing 11 corresponding to the at least one AC jack 14 respectively. The number of AC sockets and AC jacks 14 in fig. 1 is 4, and the specification is 3-hole flush-mounted earth pole sockets, but the utility model does not impose any limitation on the number of AC sockets and AC jacks 14, nor on the specification of the sockets. In some embodiments, the number of AC sockets and AC jacks 14 may be at least one other number, and the specification of the sockets may be a standard specification applicable to various countries.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, the upper cover trim 40 has a basket empty section 41 disposed corresponding to the at least one AC receptacle 14 of the receptacle housing 11 to expose the at least one AC receptacle 14. As shown in fig. 3 and 4, in the present embodiment, the basket empty area 41 of the upper lid member 40 is disposed corresponding to the AC jack 14 and the DC jack 15, and exposes the AC jack 14 and the DC jack 15.

Fig. 3 is a view showing the assembly of the upper lid trim 40 above the upper surface 111, with respect to fig. 1, fig. 3 showing a use state of the upper lid trim 40 without assembly, in which the accommodating space 13 above the upper surface 111 does not accommodate the upper lid trim 40 yet, fig. 1 showing a use state of the upper lid trim 40 with assembly, in which the accommodating space 13 above the upper surface 111 accommodates the upper lid trim 40, and the basket empty space 41 of the upper lid trim 40 exposes the AC jack 14 and the DC jack 15 for a user to use.
Next, explaining the installation manner of the upper cover trim 40, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, in this embodiment, the upper cover trim 40 has a fastening portion 42, the socket housing 11 has a fastening portion 12 around the receiving space 13, and the fastening portion 42 of the upper cover trim 40 is disposed corresponding to the fastening portion 12 of the socket housing 11, so as to detachably fix the upper cover trim 40 on the socket housing 11, so that a user can replace the upper cover trim 40.
According to another embodiment of the present invention, one of the upper cover decoration 40 and the socket housing 11 has a magnet and is detachably fixed by magnetism. In more detail, in some embodiments, the magnet is disposed at the fastening portion 12 or any position of the socket housing 11, or the magnet is disposed in the accommodating space 13, and the cover decoration 40 is made of a material capable of being attracted by the magnet, or the fastening portion 42 of the cover decoration 40 is made of a material capable of being attracted by the magnet, so that the cover decoration 40 is naturally and detachably fixed to the socket housing 11 by the magnetism of the magnet disposed at the fastening portion 12 when the cover decoration 40 is assembled. However, in other modified embodiments, the magnet is disposed on the engaging portion 42 of the cover trim 40, and the socket housing 11 is made of a material capable of being attracted by the magnet, or alternatively, the engaging portion 12 of the socket housing 11 is made of a material capable of being attracted by the magnet, so that the cover trim 40 is naturally and detachably fixed to the socket housing 11 by the magnetic property of the magnet disposed on the engaging portion 42 when the cover trim 40 is assembled.
According to another modified embodiment of the present invention, the upper cover decoration 40 has a back surface 401, and one of the back surface 401 and the upper surface 111 of the socket housing 11 has a back adhesive. In more detail, in some embodiments, the adhesive is disposed on the upper surface 111 of the socket housing 11, so that the cover decoration 40 is fixed to the socket housing 11 by the adhesive of the adhesive when the cover decoration 40 is assembled. However, in other embodiments, the back adhesive is disposed on the back 401 of the cover trim 40, so that the cover trim 40 and the socket housing 11 are detachably fixed by the adhesive of the back adhesive when the cover trim 40 is assembled.

As shown in fig. 7, in the present embodiment, the reset switch 18 is disposed in the other side surface 112 of the socket housing 11 as viewed from the bottom surface of the power extension cord 100. The present invention is not limited to the relative positions of the power switch 16 and the reset switch 18. In some embodiments, the power switch 16 and the reset switch 18 may be disposed in the same side 112, or disposed on the upper surface 111 of the socket housing 11.
Next, as can be seen from fig. 8, in the present embodiment, the reset switch 18 is disposed in a side surface 112 of the socket housing 11 opposite to the upper surface 111. The utility model is not limited to the position of the reset switch 18. In some embodiments, the reset switch 18 may be disposed on the upper surface 111 of the socket housing 11, or may be disposed at other positions of the socket housing 11.

1. A power extension cord, comprising:
a socket portion comprising:
a receptacle housing having an upper surface and at least one ac jack extending through the upper surface;
at least one AC socket disposed in the socket housing corresponding to the at least one AC jack, respectively;
a power switch electrically connected to the at least one AC outlet; and
a reset switch electrically connected to the power switch;
the plug part is provided with a plug shell and a plurality of plug terminals which are convexly arranged on the plug shell; and
the conductive wire is electrically connected with the socket part and the plug part;
the socket part further comprises an upper cover ornament, and the upper cover ornament is detachably fixed on the socket shell and covers at least part of the upper surface.
2. The extension cord of claim 1, wherein the socket housing has at least one dc jack extending through the upper surface, and the socket portion further comprises at least one dc socket and an ac-to-dc power module, the at least one dc socket is disposed in the socket housing corresponding to the at least one dc jack, respectively, and the ac-to-dc power module is disposed in the socket housing and connected to the at least one dc socket.
3. The power extension cord of claim 1, wherein the top cover piece has a basket void area disposed corresponding to the at least one ac receptacle of the receptacle housing to expose the at least one ac receptacle.
4. The power extension cord of claim 1, wherein the socket housing has a receiving space above the upper surface for receiving the cover trim.
5. The power extension cord according to claim 4, wherein the upper cover decoration has a fastening portion, the socket housing has a fastening portion around the receiving space, and the fastening portion of the upper cover decoration is disposed corresponding to the fastening portion of the socket housing, so as to detachably fix the upper cover decoration to the socket housing.
6. The power extension cord of claim 5, wherein one of the upper cover decoration and the socket housing has a magnet and is detachably fixed thereto by magnetism.
7. The power extension cord of claim 5, wherein the upper cover trim has a back surface, one of the back surface and the upper surface of the socket housing having an adhesive backing.
8. The power extension cord of claim 1, wherein the upper cover trim has a front face facing the upper surface, the front face having an animal pattern.
9. The power extension cord of claim 8, wherein the plug housing is shaped as an animal's foot.
10. The power extension cord of claim 1, wherein at least one of the power switch and the reset switch is disposed in a side of the socket housing opposite the upper surface.
