7. The sofa frame according to claim 6, wherein the connector includes a connector portion provided with a first protrusion extending into the first runner, the first protrusion lockably slidably engaging an inner wall of the first runner.

The sofa frame according to claim 6 or 7, further comprising a support strip, wherein the support strip is a section bar, the support strip is provided with a second protrusion extending into the first sliding groove, and the second protrusion is connected with the inner wall of the first sliding groove in a sliding fit manner.
9. The sofa frame according to claim 8, wherein the braces are connected to the two main beams at the front and rear sides of the first support area, and the braces alternate with the connectors in the first runners of the main beams at the rear side of the first support area.

A sofa assembly comprising a sofa frame according to any one of claims 1 to 8 and one or more of a backrest or armrests having a bottom portion provided with a slot for mating connection with the insert portion, the backrest or armrests having an interior cavity communicating with the slot, the backrest or armrests being capable of being inserted into the insert portion through the slot for connection to the second support area.
