Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the following detailed description and accompanying drawings. The exemplary embodiments and descriptions of the present invention are provided to explain the present invention, but not to limit the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, in an embodiment of the present invention, a blind box package 10 is provided that may be applied to a blind box to contain the contents of the blind box, as further described below.
Referring collectively to fig. 1 and 2, the blind pack 10 may include a lid 11 and an integral base member 12. Fig. 2 shows a combination state of the cap 11 and the bottom part 12; at this point, the bottom member is in a folded configuration a (fig. 3), as further described below.
As shown in fig. 1-6, the unitary bottom member 12 may include a bottom wall 122, a plurality of first sidewalls 124 connecting the bottom wall 122, and a plurality of second sidewalls 126, each second sidewall 126 connecting two adjacent first sidewalls 124.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 7A and 7B, the base member 12 comprises a body folded from a planar sheet of material. In some embodiments, the body of the bottom piece 12 may be paperboard or a foldable plastic sheet, such as a clear PVC material. In some embodiments, the cover 11 may also be made of cardboard or foldable plastic sheet material, such as transparent PVC material. However, other suitable materials are contemplated for the base member 12 (body) and/or the lid 11.
Referring to fig. 1-6 and 7A-7B in combination, more specifically, the bottom wall 122 may be square, and four first side walls 124 may also be square and connect four sides of the bottom wall 122, and four second side walls 126 are respectively disposed between the four first side walls 124. Correspondingly, the lid 11 may also have a square top wall (not shown) and four side walls (not shown) connecting the top wall.
Further, as best shown particularly in fig. 4-6, each second sidewall 126 of base component 12 may include a first sub-wall portion 1262 connecting one of the adjacent first sidewalls 124, a second sub-wall portion 1264 connecting the other of the adjacent first sidewalls 124, and a fold line 1260 connecting between the first and second sub-wall portions.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 4-6, the first sub-wall portion 1262 and the second sub-wall portion 1264 of each second side wall 126 have a pointed end 12622, 12642 adjacent to the bottom wall and a rounded end 12624, 12644 remote from the bottom wall, so that a recess 1268 is formed between the rounded ends 12624, 12644 of the first sub-wall portion 1262 and the second sub-wall portion 1264, which may facilitate the bottom member 12 being transformed from the folded configuration to the unfolded configuration, for example.
With combined reference to fig. 1-6, the bottom member 12 has a folded configuration a (fig. 3) for receiving the blind box interior contents and an unfolded configuration B (fig. 4-6) for presenting the blind box interior contents. In the folded configuration a, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the lid 11 overlies the top of the unitary bottom member 12 and restrains the bottom member 12 to prevent the bottom member 12 from unfolding. Further, as best shown in fig. 3, the first and second sub-wall portions 1262, 1264 lie close to each other in the folded state a. In addition, as best shown in FIG. 3, in the folded configuration, the base member 12 is configured for receiving a blind box contents, such as a card 20 (FIG. 8).
In the deployed configuration B, the lid 11 is disengaged from the integral base 12 to release the base 12, as shown in fig. 4 to 6. Further, the first sub-wall portion 1262 and the second sub-wall portion 1264 are distant from each other in the expanded state B. In addition, as shown in fig. 4-6, in the expanded configuration, the base member 12 is configured for presenting a blind box contents, such as a card 20 (fig. 8).
Thus, by providing a folded configuration constrained by the lid and an unfolded configuration constrained by the lid, the user can provide the user with a sense of expectation of the uncertainty of the sudden opening that he would expect to achieve when opening the blind box by simply picking up the lid 11 to disengage the bottom piece 12 from the lid constraint during the blind box opening process.
Further, in embodiments according to the utility model, such bottom pieces, those shown in the drawings, when transformed from the folded configuration to the unfolded configuration, generally resemble flowers blooming, making it more likely that the user will experience a pleasant expectation as flowers bloom when opened.
In a further embodiment, the sudden opening from the folded to the unfolded configuration, such as an uncertain feeling like a flower blooming, may be further facilitated by providing elastic return means.
In some embodiments, this may be achieved by an overall elastic return force due to the material and/or shape of the bottom member 12 (body) itself. Here, the bottom part 12 (body) or the second sidewall 126 thereof may include an integral elastic restoring structure.
Further, as schematically shown in fig. 7B, each second sidewall 126 may include an elastic return reinforcement facing 1266 on an inside surface of the first and second sub-wall portions 1262, 1264, and the fold line is a single-sided line of weakness 1260' (fig. 6) on an opposite side of the elastic return reinforcement facing 1266. For illustrative purposes, fig. 7B shows only one resilient return-enhancing facing 1266 covering one second sidewall 126, but it is contemplated that the facing may be provided on all or a portion of the second sidewall 126. Thus, each second sidewall 126 is subjected to an elastic return force that varies from the folded configuration a toward the unfolded configuration B by way of the elastic return reinforcement facing 1266 and the single-sided lines of weakness. In some embodiments, the facing layer may be a different material or covering than the other layers, thereby having a superior elastic return force to the other layers, so that since the facing layer covers both sub-wall portions (the side without the line of weakness) at the same time, it may incorporate the lines of weakness on opposite sides to provide the desired elastic return force. Specifically, for example, the bottom member 12 (body) and the side walls are mostly made of cardboard, and the elastic return reinforcement surface layer 1266 may be a plated film covering the first and second sub-wall portions.
In addition or alternatively, an additional elastic restoring element can be provided. For example, in an embodiment not shown, each second sidewall 126 includes an elastic restoring member having two ends connected to the first sub-wall portion 1262 and the second sub-wall portion 1264, respectively. For example, the elastic reset piece is made of strip reset material, one end of the elastic reset piece is connected with the first sub-wall part, and the other end of the elastic reset piece is connected with the second sub-wall part. The resilient return member may be provided on the outer side of the second side wall 126, whereby in the folded configuration it is folded and clamped between the first and second sub-wall portions. The resilient return member may also be provided on the inner side of the second side wall 126 (e.g. on the side of the facing layer as described above) whereby in the folded configuration it is folded and tensioned by the overlapping of the first and second sub-wall portions along the fold line.
In a further embodiment, the user experience may be further enhanced by providing other effects in the case of going from the folded configuration to the unfolded configuration, for example highlighting the desired freshness when opening the blind box.
As schematically shown in fig. 6, the blind box package 10 may further comprise a light sensor 127 disposed on an adjacent surface of the first sub-wall portion 1262 and/or the second sub-wall portion 1264. In the embodiment shown, for example, on an adjacent surface of the first sub-wall portion 1262. But it is conceivable that the other sub-wall portion is on the adjacent surface of the other sub-wall portion or on both.
As schematically shown in fig. 6, the blind pack 10 may further comprise a sound and/or light effect unit 128 in conjunction with the light sensor 127.
In the embodiment shown, therefore, in the folded configuration a (fig. 3), the light line sensor 127 is blocked by the proximity of the first and second sub-wall portions 1262, 1264 to each other, so as not to activate the sound and/or light effect unit 128; in the deployed configuration (fig. 4-6), the light sensor 127 is activated, because the first and second sub-wall portions are clear from each other, to trigger the sound and/or light effect unit 128.
In an alternative embodiment, the blind cartridge package may comprise a normally closed microswitch arranged on the adjacent surfaces of the first and second sub-wall portions. It is conceivable that a normally closed microswitch could alternatively be arranged on the adjacent surface of one sub-wall part, where it could be kept open in the folded configuration by the adjacent avoidance of contact of the other sub-wall part. In this embodiment, the blind box package may further comprise said microswitch-linked sound and/or light effect unit.
In this alternative embodiment, the normally closed microswitch is thus in the open state in the folded configuration, due to the proximity of the first and second sub-wall portions; in the deployed configuration, the normally closed microswitch is switched on by the first and second sub-wall portions being distant from each other to trigger the sound and/or light effect unit.
In a further embodiment, a sudden opening from the folded to the unfolded configuration, such as an uncertain feeling like a flower blooming, may be further facilitated by providing a drop means.
For example, in the embodiment shown in fig. 4, the first sidewall 124 has a first end adjacent to the bottom wall 122 and a second end remote from the bottom wall 122, and the first sidewall 124 includes a thickening 1240 and/or a weighting disposed at the second end, such that in the deployed configuration, the thickening 1240 and/or the weighting urges the first sidewall outwardly via gravity. In some embodiments, the thickened structure 1240 can be one or more layers added. In other embodiments, the weighting structure may be a combination of heavier mass/denser material. In other embodiments, a combination of thickening and weighting structures may be provided.
As shown in fig. 1, the blind pack 10 may optionally further comprise an outer box 13. Similarly, the body of the outer box 13 may be paperboard or a foldable plastic sheet, such as a transparent PVC material. In the embodiment shown in fig. 1, the sleeve 13 may include side openings (not shown) for receiving the lid 11 and base 12 in an assembled state (in the collapsed configuration). The sleeve may further include a pull-out strap 130 to allow a user to pull out the lid 11 and base 12 in the assembled state (in the collapsed configuration).
As previously described, embodiments of the present invention also provide a blind box that may include a blind box package 10 according to embodiments of the present invention and a blind box contents contained within the blind box package 10.
Referring collectively to fig. 8-10, the article contained within the blind box can be a card 20, the card 20 including a body 200 and one or more breakable corners 210, 220, 230, 240, the one or more breakable corners 210, 220, 230, 240 connected to the body 200 by a line of weakness 250. In some embodiments, the line of weakness 250 can be a single-sided line of weakness.
By means of the breakable corners, various functions of the blind box can be achieved.
In this document, "first" and "second" are used to distinguish different elements in the same embodiment, and do not denote any order or relative importance.
