4. The optoelectronic device for a machine as set forth in claim 1, wherein the optoelectronic assembly includes an optoelectronic element and a back shell, the back shell having a receiving slot with a forward opening, the optoelectronic element being disposed within the receiving slot.
5. The optoelectronic device for a cigarette machine as recited in claim 4 wherein the optoelectronic element comprises one or more of a light emitting element, a display element, a touch sensitive element.
6. The optoelectronic device for a machine according to claim 4, wherein the back shell has a cuff extending outwardly from the slot of the receiving slot, the cuff for engaging the back of the face plate of the machine.
7. The optoelectronic device for a machine as set forth in claim 6, wherein the flap is provided with a groove surrounding the receiving groove, the groove being provided with a second sealing layer connecting the back shell and the back side of the front panel of the machine.
8. The optoelectronic device for a machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the frame is rectangular or triangular in shape.
9. The optoelectronic device for a cigarette machine as recited in claim 1 further comprising a flexible hem seal located at the mounting opening, one end of the flexible hem seal being connected to the optoelectronic assembly and the other end being for conforming to a back surface of a faceplate of the cigarette machine.
10. A machine comprising a panel, wherein the panel is provided with a light-transmissive region, the machine further comprising an optoelectronic device for a machine as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 9, the frame being attached to a rear face of the panel, the optoelectronic assembly being located within the light-transmissive region.
