5. An outdoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein the second covering portion includes a top plate and vertical plates provided at opposite sides of the top plate.
6. An outdoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 5, wherein the support plate is connected to a lower edge of the opening, and a lower end of an edge of the riser plate remote from the first covering portion is located at or above an edge of the support plate remote from the opening.
