Technical Field
As oil production enters the middle and late stages, crude oil properties become more and more complex. The existing electric desalting technology generally has the problems that the running current is increased and the desalting and dewatering effects are poor when the crude oil is treated.
At present, the electric desalting technology widely applied to oil fields and oil refineries mainly comprises three technologies:
the first is an alternating current desalting technology, an alternating current desalting electric field adopts two layers or three layers of horizontal electrode plates, a lower layer electrode plate is electrified, an upper layer electrode plate is grounded (or a middle electrode plate is electrified, and an upper layer electrode plate and a lower layer electrode plate are grounded), so that the alternating current electric field is formed, the property of the treated oil product is better, and the treatment requirement can be met under the condition that the treatment requirement is not very high. The technology is widely applied to oil refineries, but when the oil refineries process heavy inferior crude oil which has high specific gravity, high viscosity, high acid value, high water content, high salt content and easy emulsification, the desalting and dehydrating rate of the technology is reduced, the requirements that the salt content is less than 3mg/L and the water content is less than 0.2 percent after dehydration are difficult to achieve, the power consumption is increased, short circuit is caused sometimes, and the treatment effect cannot be achieved.
The third is a high-speed electric desalting technology, which is developed mainly aiming at the large-scale requirements of oil refineries in China, and mainly utilizes a smaller tank body to achieve larger treatment capacity, the high-speed electric desalting field adopts four layers of horizontal electrode plates, crude oil is directly sprayed into the high-voltage field through a nozzle to quickly separate oil from water, and when heavy and poor crude oil which has high specific gravity, high viscosity, high acid value, high water content, high salt content and easy emulsification is treated, the defects of high salt content and water content after dehydration, high electric desalting operating current, oil content in discharged water and the like can also occur.
In addition, several oil refineries in China import several sets of electric desalting equipment from PETREC company in America, and the problems of high salt content and water content after desalting, high electric desalting operation current, even short circuit, oil content in discharged water and the like can also occur when poor crude oil is treated.
The existing technologies for processing heavy inferior crude oil with high specific gravity, high viscosity, high acid value, high water content, high salt content and easy emulsification can not achieve better desalting and dewatering effects, the general operating current is very large, and some even direct short circuits occur. The reason is mainly because the existing methods for electric desalting and electric dewatering completely depend on the action of an electrostatic field, once the electrostatic field has a problem, the dewatering effect does not reach the standard, and even if the electric field has no problem, fine water drops in the crude oil cannot be effectively gathered in an effective electric field interval under the condition that the viscosity and the specific gravity of the crude oil are large.
