A closure assembly for a side nozzle of a can body according to claim 3, wherein the closure (3) further comprises a head portion (33) provided at an end of the connecting portion (31) remote from the closure portion (32), the head portion (33) having a size larger than the diameter of the radial mounting hole (22).

7. Closure assembly for a side nozzle of a tank according to any of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the centre line of the radial mounting hole (22) is intended to be arranged coaxially with the centre line of the side opening (14).
