Abstract

The present invention provides a seat comprising: a seat body including legs and defining a seat surface, the seat body having a seat surface opening in a plane of the seat surface, and a fitting opening being formed between adjacent two of the legs; a seat pan that is mounted to the seat main body and closes a seat surface opening of the seat main body; a storage unit disposed within a space defined by the seat leg and below the seat pan; and a mounting plate received in the mounting opening.

Technical Field

The utility model relates to the field of furniture, in particular to a seat.

Background

The chair is one of the most common articles in daily life, and is widely applied to occasions such as families, schools, libraries, restaurants, theaters and the like. However, conventional seats typically do not have or lack storage space. In some situations, such as libraries and restaurants, people cannot place personal belongings in the seats occupied by themselves, but need to occupy nearby chairs, which results in a reduction in the utilization rate of the seats.

In addition, while many improvements have been made to seats, such as in terms of appearance, comfort, and space usage, the seats are more aesthetically pleasing, comfortable, and simple. However, the functionality of the seat has not been further expanded.

While there are many known seats, there is always a desire for improved seats.

SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL

The utility model aims to provide a seat, which is used for enriching the functions of the seat and increasing the storage space of the seat.

To this end, in one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a seat comprising:

a seat body including legs and defining a seat surface, the seat body having a seat surface opening in a plane of the seat surface, and a fitting opening being formed between adjacent two of the legs;

a seat pan that is mounted to the seat main body and closes a seat surface opening of the seat main body;

a storage unit disposed within a space defined by the seat leg and below the seat pan; and

a mounting plate received in the mounting opening, the mounting plate selected from one or more of the following panels:

a first panel, wherein the first panel is provided with a hollow geometric shape,

a second panel having a light emitting device disposed thereon,

a third panel, on which icons capable of being pressed and a sound generating device electrically connected with the icons are arranged,

a fourth panel, the bottom sub-panel is an electronic display screen,

a fifth panel provided with a solar panel assembly,

a sixth panel, the sixth panel being a flat panel.

Advantageously, by adding a storage compartment and a mounting plate, the storage space of the seat is expanded and the functionality of the seat is increased.

According to a preferred embodiment of the utility model, the storage unit comprises a storage compartment and/or a mounting. In the case where the storage unit is the bottom bracket, the user can take out the article from the side of the seat main body, so that the seat plate and the seat main body can be integrally formed.

According to a preferred embodiment of the utility model, the storage unit comprises a combination of a storage compartment and a mounting, wherein the mounting is peripherally attached to the inside of the leg and the mounting is located below the storage compartment. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the fitting opening is provided with a mounting groove in a circumferential direction thereof, and the fitting plate is mounted to the fitting opening by means of the mounting groove. Advantageously, the mounting slot is configured to receive the mounting plate, making the mounting plate a part of the overall structure of the seat body, enhancing the strength of the seat body structure.

According to a preferred embodiment of the utility model, the seat pan is pivotally connected to the seat body. Advantageously, the storage compartment is opened by pivoting the seat pan relative to the seat body, so that the articles in the storage compartment can be conveniently taken out.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the seat further comprises a seat back connected to the seat main body. The comfort of the seat can be increased by providing a seat back.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the seat back has a hollow structure and the seat back has a back opening at a front side or a back side. Advantageously, such a hollow structure allows, on the one hand, to reduce the mass of the seat, making it lighter, and, on the other hand, to create more storage space.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, further comprising a storage unit connected to the seat back and arranged in the hollow structure of the seat back. Advantageously, the receiving unit may provide an additional storage space.

According to a preferred embodiment of the utility model, the fitting plate is mounted in the backrest opening. The mounting plate may be one of the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth panels described above.

According to a preferred embodiment of the utility model, the seat back is provided with a trim door mounted on the back side and/or front side of the seat back for closing the back opening, and the trim door is movable between an open position and a closed position. Advantageously, the decorative door may improve the safety of storage.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a hook is mounted on a side wall of the seat back or the trim door. Advantageously, the problem of hanging of an article that cannot be bent can be solved by providing a hook.

According to a preferred embodiment of the utility model, the seat further comprises a fan mounted in the hollow structure of the seat back. Advantageously, the air permeability can be increased by installing a fan.

The utility model can be made of materials selected from metal, plastic and wood, and can be used for manufacturing all the parts by adopting the modes of integral forming, single manufacturing and the like, which are commonly used in the furniture industry, and then the parts are assembled into the seat by the modes of riveting, joggling, welding, bonding, riveting, loose-leaf, injection molding and the like.

When the article storage box is used, the seat plate is opened, articles can be put into the article storage box or taken out of the article storage box, and the seat plate is reset after the articles are put into or taken out. Similarly, when the assembling plate is opened or removed, other related operations can be carried out through the assembling opening, and the assembling plate is reset after the operations are finished.

In the seat of the present invention, due to the arrangement of the storage box and the fitting plate, the storage space of the seat is expanded and the function of the seat is enriched.

Detailed Description

In addition, in the present invention, unless otherwise specifically stated, the terms "connected" and the like are to be interpreted broadly to include fixed connections and removable connections, as well as direct connections or indirect connections through intervening elements. The term "seat" is to be understood as a plane on which a person sits, rather than a solid part. The term "front side" refers to the side of the seat back on which a person rests, and "back side" refers to the side of the seat back opposite the "front side". The term "chair leg" is to be understood as a general term for the support element supporting the seat plate.

In the present invention, the "seat" may or may not have a backrest.

Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which the respective components are made of plastic, but the pivot shaft and the like are metal. It should be noted, however, that the scope of the present invention is not limited by the illustrated embodiments, e.g., the components may be of other materials and the components may be connected in other ways that would be conventionally used by one of ordinary skill in the art in a similar context.

Referring to fig. 1, a seat 1 includes a seat main body 11, a seat pan 12, and a storage unit. The storage unit is here in the form of a storage compartment 13. Specifically, the seat main body 11 includes legs and defines a seat surface, the seat main body 11 has a seat surface opening 15 in a plane of the seat surface, and a fitting opening 16 is formed between adjacent two legs for mounting the fitting plate 14 (see fig. 3). It should be understood that the number of mounting openings 16 may be 1, 2, 3, or 4, etc., and each mounting opening 16 may have a different configuration. The seat pan 12 is mounted to the seat body 11, preferably by a pivot shaft to the seat body 11, the seat pan 12 being mounted to the seat body 11 and closing the seat opening 15, thereby forming the seat of the seat. Alternatively, the seat pan 12 may be connected to the seat body 11 by means of a snap fit, or may be integrally formed with the seat body. Preferably, the storage box 13 is detachably or integrally mounted to the seat main body, and is located below the seat pan 12. Optionally, the storage compartment 13 is suspended by its rim at the seat opening of the seat. In the illustrated embodiment, the storage compartment 13 has a storage compartment opening at the top, alternatively, the storage compartment 13 may have a top cover. In this way, the user can easily open the seat plate 12 and place an article in the storage box 13.

The storage box is not limited in form, and can be used in the present invention as long as it can be accommodated in the seat main body with an accommodating space inside. For example, the storage box can be a square, a cylinder or a polygon, and the top can be provided with an openable top surface or not; the bottom and side surfaces of the plate can be complete and continuous plates, or plates with through hole-shaped parts, or even grid-shaped surfaces, so that the weight of the plate can be reduced.

Referring to fig. 2 to 3, the difference from the embodiment shown in fig. 1 is that a reinforcement is added to the seat 11 'at the legs thereof and the seat plate 12' has an arc-shaped surface so as to provide a more comfortable seating surface. The seat 1 further includes a mounting plate 14, the mounting plate 14 being mounted to the mounting opening 16. It should be noted that the shape of the fitting opening is not limited to the illustrated shape, and may be a regular shape or an irregular shape (as shown in fig. 2). As shown in fig. 2, the fitting opening 16 is in the form of a half screen, and advantageously, such a shape can prevent items from falling off the seat. Preferably, the fitting opening 16 may be provided with a fitting groove in a circumferential direction to receive the fitting plate 14, so that the fitting plate becomes a part of the entire structure of the seat main body, enhancing the strength of the seat main body structure. In the illustrated embodiment, the mounting plate 14 is provided with an openwork geometry including, but not limited to, triangular, square, circular, numerical, animal, plant (e.g., floral), cartoon, constellation, zodiac, mascot, bird figure, text, letters, and the like. This is particularly advantageous in applications where children are present, who can place correspondingly shaped items into the seat, particularly in the storage space around the storage compartment 13, through the openwork geometry, as will be described in more detail below. With this arrangement, the chair adds entertainment functionality suitable for children, and also adds enjoyment in organizing the toy.

Alternatively, the mounting plate 14 may also be a panel having a light emitting device. The light emitting device may be a light strip, a surface light source or a point light source. Through setting up light emitting device, can play the illumination effect on the one hand, for example when using under the dark surrounds, can illuminate the environment around the seat, such as the storage tank to conveniently take out article. On the other hand, the light-emitting device may also serve an aesthetic function, such as providing a light-emitting effect. In the case where the panel is a graphic toy, this arrangement both prevents the graphic toy from being discarded at will and improves its availability, which is particularly suitable for kindergartens or families with children.

Still alternatively, the mounting plate 14 may be an electronic display screen. In this case, the number of the seat, whether it is available, etc. may be displayed on the electronic display screen, which is particularly advantageous in applications such as libraries and theatres. For example, when the seat has been reserved, it is displayed that the seat is not currently available.

Still alternatively, the mounting plate 14 may be a panel including a solar panel assembly. The solar panel assembly converts solar radiation energy directly or indirectly into electric energy through a photoelectric effect or a photochemical effect so as to supply power to other elements, such as a fan, a light-emitting device, a generating device, an electronic display screen and the like.

Still alternatively, the mounting plate 14 may be a flat plate, which may have an irregular shape, such as square, circular, polygonal, trapezoidal, etc., capable of lifting the height and preventing things from falling.

In the illustrated embodiment, the mounting plate 14 is removably mounted in the mounting opening, alternatively, the mounting plate 14 may be integrally formed with the seat body, i.e., fixed in place at the mounting opening, without the need for secondary assembly.

It should be noted that the seat may be fitted with one or a combination of the above panels. In addition, the number of the fitting plates may be one or more. For example, only one mounting plate is mounted.

In a preferred embodiment, the storage unit comprises a mounting 17, as shown in fig. 4. The bottom bracket 17 may be in the shape of a plate or lattice, which is mounted to the seat body 11, in particular, to the inside of the leg. The tray 17 may also be divided into several sections to accommodate different types of articles. Preferably, from below the seat body 11 to the lower portion of the seat body 11, and below the storage compartment 13 (if the storage compartment 13 is present). The mounting may be in non-contact with the storage compartment, or in contact with the bottom wall of the storage compartment. Thus, the outer wall of the storage compartment 13, the inner side of the leg and the bottom bracket 17 together define an additional storage space around the storage compartment 13. For convenience of description, the additional storage space will be referred to herein as a second storage space. Advantageously, the user can conveniently place common articles, such as books, stationery, etc., in the second storage space. This further increases the storage space of the seat.

In the case where the storage unit includes only the bottom tray, the user can store or take out the article from the side of the seat main body without opening the seat surface opening of the seat main body. In this case, the seat pan may be integrally formed with the seat main body.

In the case of a storage unit comprising a combination of a storage compartment and a mounting, a mounting hole for receiving the storage compartment may advantageously be provided in the middle of the mounting. More advantageously, the side surface of the storage compartment is outwardly sloped toward the top opening of the storage compartment to facilitate gripping in the mounting aperture of the mounting bracket.

More preferably, the mounting 17 is engageable with the storage bin 13, and the mounting 17 forms with the outer side wall of the storage bin 13, the inner side of the legs, a recess for receiving items, the recess being between the legs and the side wall of the storage bin 13. The concave part can accommodate articles with specific shapes, such as water bottles, water cups, umbrellas and the like, so that the storage is tidy.

Referring to fig. 5 to 6, the seat 1 further comprises a seat back 18, the seat back 18 being connected to the seat body 11 ', preferably the seat back 18 being integrally formed with the seat body 11', for example by injection moulding. Alternatively, the seat back may be detachably assembled to the seat main body.

In a preferred embodiment, the seat back 18 has a hollow structure and has a back opening on the front or back side. Advantageously, the hollow structure can on the one hand reduce the mass of the seat and on the other hand provide additional storage space. For convenience of description, the storage space provided by the hollow structure of the seat back is referred to herein as a third storage space. Advantageously, such an arrangement further increases the stowage space of the seat.

In a preferred embodiment, the backrest opening can be fitted with one of the mounting panels as described above, for example with an openwork geometry, with a lighting device, with an electronic display screen, with a solar panel assembly, with a pressable button and a sound-emitting device.

Referring to fig. 7, the seat further includes a storage unit 19. The storage unit 19 is located in the hollow structure, for example, by being plugged in, bonded to, or suspended from the seat back. The receiving unit is preferably box-shaped (see fig. 10) with an opening at the top. Alternatively, the storage unit may be a storage bag (see fig. 11). For convenience of description, the storage space provided by the receiving unit 19 is referred to herein as a fourth storage space.

In another embodiment of the present invention, the seat back 18 is provided with a trim door 20 for closing the back opening, and the trim door 20 may be installed on the back side of the seat back 18 (as shown in fig. 8) or may be installed on the front side of the seat back 18. The trim door 20 is movable between an open position and a closed position, such as pivoting relative to the seat back, or translating. Preferably, the trim door 20 is pivotally connected to the seat back by hinges. Alternatively, the decorative door 20 may be designed to be foldable (e.g., a sliding door) to move between an open position and a closed position. More preferably, the decorative door 20 may be provided with a decorative pattern to make the seat more beautiful. In addition, through the installation decorate the door, can improve the security of storing.

Referring to fig. 8, a hook 21 is mounted on a side wall of the seat back 18. Alternatively, the hook 21 may be installed on the decorative door 20, for example, on the inner side of the decorative door 20. This is particularly advantageous when placing items that cannot be bent, such as coats, wallets, etc.

In another embodiment, the seat 1 may further include a fan 22 (see fig. 9), and the fan 22 may be installed in the hollow structure of the seat back 18 and may also be installed on the trim door 20'. In the case where the fan 22 is installed in the hollow structure of the seat back 18, the front side of the seat back 18 may be provided with a plurality of ventilation holes, for example, the front side of the seat back 18 is designed as a woven mesh surface. Advantageously, air circulation can be improved by installing a fan to promote air circulation.

In the illustrated embodiment, the seat body is generally square, however, it is contemplated that the seat body may be cylindrical or other shape. Similarly, the legs are also not limited to the illustrated embodiment, and the legs may be arranged in a circumferential direction or any other suitable arrangement.

It should also be understood that the connections between the seat body and the seat back, the seat body and the seat pan, the seat body and the mounting plate, and the seat back and the mounting plate may be integrally formed or may be detachable.

In use, a user can put articles into the storage box by opening the seat plate, and can also place the articles in the second storage space around the storage box or in the third storage space and the fourth storage space of the seat back. In addition, the fitting opening provided on the side surface of the seat main body can be used for housing different types of function boards, and can also be given to the seat with more abundant functions.

While various preferred embodiments have been shown and described above, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that modifications and changes may be made without departing from the scope of the utility model as defined in the appended claims.

Claims (12)

1. A seat, characterized in that the seat comprises:

a seat body including legs and defining a seat surface, the seat body having a seat surface opening in a plane of the seat surface, and a fitting opening being formed between adjacent two of the legs;

a seat pan that is mounted to the seat main body and closes a seat surface opening of the seat main body;

a storage unit disposed within a space defined by the seat leg and below the seat pan; and

a mounting plate received in the mounting opening, the mounting plate selected from one or more of the following panels:

a first panel, wherein the first panel is provided with a hollow geometric shape,

a second panel having a light emitting device disposed thereon,

a third panel, on which icons capable of being pressed and a sound generating device electrically connected with the icons are arranged,

a fourth panel, the fourth panel being an electronic display screen,

a fifth panel provided with a solar panel assembly,

a sixth panel, the sixth panel being a flat panel.

2. The seat according to claim 1, wherein the storage unit comprises a storage bin and/or a bottom tray.

3. The seat of claim 1, wherein the storage unit comprises a combination of a storage bin and a mounting, wherein the mounting is peripherally attached to the inside of the leg and the mounting is located below the storage bin or provided with a mounting hole for receiving the storage bin.

4. The seat according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein a mounting groove is provided in a circumferential direction of the fitting opening, and the fitting plate is mounted to the fitting opening by means of the mounting groove.

5. The seat according to any one of claims 1-3, wherein the seat pan is pivotably connected to the seat body.

6. The seat according to any one of claims 1-3, further comprising a seat back connected to the seat body.

7. The seat according to claim 6, wherein the seat back has a hollow structure and the seat back has a back opening at a front or back side.

8. The seat according to claim 7, further comprising a receiving unit connected to the seat back and disposed in the hollow structure of the seat back.

9. The seat according to claim 7, wherein the mounting plate is mounted in the back opening.

10. Seat according to claim 7, characterized in that the seat back is provided with a trim door mounted on the back side and/or front side of the seat back for closing the back opening, and that the trim door is movable between an open position and a closed position.

11. The seat according to claim 10, wherein a hook is mounted on a side wall of the seat back or on the trim door.

12. The seat according to claim 10, further comprising a fan mounted in the hollow structure of the seat back.
